It holds a bit more than a gallon and measures 12 1/2" high-25" in circumference. 6 1/2" across base and weighs 5 1/2 pounds. It is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. From my grandmothers home back in the late 1950's is this ceramic stoneware cider. Moonshine jug. I remember this from way back when I was a kid. My grandmother passed in the late 70's and my mother kept it. It then went to my brother and he's had it till now. He's 63 years old so this little rascal is an oldie! It's always been in the house and shows little signs of wear or use. It's a very nice piece.

Great looking old tyme stoneware whiskey style 1 gallon jug with a single handle. It measures approx. 11" tall and 7" across the bottom. There are many flaws in the finish that have been there since the jug was produced. Even the chip on the bottom rim has a glaze on it so probably original. Study pictures for condition.
