These antique type trays are one of the most useful and decorative objects-I have several around my own home for various uses. This tray does not have a makers name like some. Only an old label that says"Typewriter" This tray has a very nice dark, dramatic patina. As it had been sitting in an old barn for many years, I cleaned the worst of the dust and grime out of it and is usuable the way it is but it could certainly benefit from some additional cleaning(mild soap and warm water) and even some oiling to bring out its color even more. It can be hung on a wall or laid in a drawer to store jewelry, beads or whatever. This is an ironstone type piece made in England with markings"T& R Boote" as shown n the picture. Our guess is this is from somewhere in the mid to late 1800's as it has a very nice simple or somewhat primitive decorative scheme. The pattern appears to be"Lahore" The piece is nice considerate of age with some light crazing and small darkening spots at the top edge and on the underside as we show in the pictures. Wedgwood "Peruvian" Mulberry Ironstone Transferware Platter
This platter measures 12"x15.25" and was made by the J Wedgwood Co. It is in the pattern Peruvian and is Mulberry Ironstone transfer ware. There are two very tiny glaze flecks on this piece. one on the front and the other on the outer rim there is also some very tight crazing. There is no other damage at all! Mulberry ironstone is very hard to find and this piece is beautiful!

Maddock's Lamberton Works Royal Porcelain Platter 14 3/4" White and Mauve
This item is a platter made by Maddock's Lamberton works. It measures 14 3/4" by 10 3/4" and is 1 3/8" tall. It features flowers outlined in mauve and filled in with mauve and light green. The edge is scalloped and there is a gold trim along the top edge. There is a slight wearing of the gold. Very minor surface wear on the bottom, only a few very, very light scratches three small glaze pops/imperfections on the outer sides. The bottom is marked as pictured. I believe this was made in the latter part of the 1800's but I'm not 100% sure of the exact time of manufacture. MEHLEM BONN A RHEIN in a ring around stylized F A initials and gold ink stamp under glaze number 1446 114 442 manufactured at the Franz Anton Mehlem factory in Bonn Germany in the height of the aesthetic movement in the late 1800's. There are sunflowers on green stems with bees and a dragonfly with a gold band trim. The tray measures 10" x 11" x 2.5" with a scalloped front edge and a scrollwork handle. The creamer is 4" and the lidded sugar bowl is 3" both decorated in the same aesthetic pattern. The overall condition is amazing considering the years this delicate piece has survived. Circa 1900 Henry Alcock& Co. semi-porcelain platter. Measures 8"x11" This rare English platter is transferware in the Emerald pattern. The design of delicate white flowers on a soft green background alternates with green flowers on a creamy white background. The segments are divided by graceful gold curly-cues. In addition. Tiny gold dots decorate the centers of the white flowers. The scalloped edges are the finishing touch to this beautiful serving dish. There is minimal crazing on the front and slight discoloration and one chip on the underside. Not bad for being 100 years old! Perfect for use but not damage free. One plate has an under the edge chip and a smaller crack which is not that visible from the top. see Photo) One plate has a tiny edge chip. The other two have no chips or cracks. This auction is for a Fabulous White Ironstone Platter made by Jacob Furnival& Co. of England in the mid 1800s. It is in excellent condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or stains or repairs. The ironstone is very white. It is very hard to find a piece of Antique White Ironstone in a condition this good. The platter doesn't even have crazing. The piece is very heavy and thick and has a neat panel design. The platter as the Black Royal Coat of Arms backstamp with the company's initials. JF. It also has an impressed mark"16" The piece dates from 1845 and 1870. The years Jacob Furnival operated in Stoke-on-Trent, Cobridge England. The platter measures 19 1/2" long by 15 1/2" wide, and it is in excellent condition for its age. For sale is a gorgeous large antique Ironstone platter from the 1800s.Beautiful blue and white colors.It has an oriental design to it except the women do not really look oriental so am not sure.It is like a transferware piece and the mark on the back says WRS&CO. and UNION.I do not know what company this is.It measures 17 1/2" across by 12 3/4"No chips or cracks but it has been used.There are some dark areas on the underside edge in the middle that is just from use.A couple light marks on the front-see photos but does not detract from this beautiful platter.This will have to be shipped in an oversize box and will be insured.
