Vintage Stoneware Crock Pitcher Jug 1/2 Gallon Brown & Cream 8 1/2" Pottery
Awesome Vintage Brown/Cream 1/2 Gallon 8 1/2" Jug Pitcher. Has a wonderful almost salt-glazed finish to it. In Excellent condition with no cracks.Chips or scratches.The inside is the brown glaze. No markings on the bottom. You can feel the potters wheel marks on the bottom. Quite a heavy pitcher 4lbs 2oz. Would go great with any decor. Take a look at the pictures.

Bottom Marked RedWing Stoneware 1/2 Gallon Jug with Brown Glaze
For your consideration is a jug that was manufactured by Red Wing Stoneware Co. of Red Wing. Minnesota. The debossed writing on the bottom says: RED WING STONEWARE Co. This company was founded in 1877 and existed until 1906; in 1906 it merged with Minnesota Stoneware Co. also located in Red Wing, Minn. and formed Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. This jug was manufactured 1885-1906. This jug was manufactured using a two piece mold and the handle was hand applied after the jug was formed. It is glazed with a shiny brown glaze. This jug has a total height of approximately 7 3/8" the bottom has a diameter of slightly less than 6" and the capacity was advertised as 1/2 of a gallon. This jug has 0 cracks, however on the bottom edge is a chip that can be completely covered with a dime. This jug does have glaze skips. Vintage (2) 5 Gallon gallon Stoneware Crock Brown Whiskey Jugs Lot
I have two vintage whiskey jugs. Brown on top and beige on bottom. I cannot find any kind of markings on them. I think they may be 5 gallon judging by the measurements of others that look similar on eBay. They measure approximately 15 inches tall by a 10 inch diameter. Large and heavy. I have a 10 lb. scale and each is over on that so I am unsure as to the exact weight. Will update when possible. I cannot find any cracks, there is one chip on the botton of one jug as pictured.

This nice and well made antique stoneware jug that was probably made in the upper Midwest. The jug has a great brown glaze and a nice applied handle. It was probably filled with Whiskey. With the crock being in great condition. There are a couple glaze pops here and there, but those were done during manufacturing. Measures about 11" tall and is a 2 gallon size. Offered is this small vintage or antique beige and dark brown moonshine whiskey jug. The jug stands approx. 9 1/4" high. Is 5 1/2" across at the base and holds about 1/2 gallon. It is in very good condition. There is a small rough area on the top of the handle which is partially glazed over so apparently done while being made. There are numerous bumps and raised areas along the sides. Also glazed over. There are some small chips some stray dark brown glaze along the top rim. The Old Whiskey Moonshine Jug came from a recent estate sale here in New England and is a Tan& very dark Brown almost black and could use some cleaning prior to display. The Jug is in very good pre-owned condition with your typical glaze pops here and there and a small chip on the ringed handle that we pictured. Vintage#2 Stoneware Jug with Handle. In Great Condition with NO damage. Very Uniq ue features on the Jug like flaw from when it was made in picture 8 and some indents by the mouth as well as some different colors. Meaurse 14" tall. 7 3/4" at the base and the mouth is 2" wide. One small hairling spot by the mouth don't know if it is a flaw or not but not really visiable picture 9. Up for bid is an Antique Brown Stoneware Two(2)Gallon Stamped Syrup Jug. Jug stands approximately 12" tall and base is 9" in diameter and body balloons out a bit. Jug has an unusually large rimmed lip which measures 3 1/2" across. With 7/8" spout/lip. Jug is in very nice vintage condition. One chip about 5/8" x 3/8" Several small chips along the rim of lip. Coloring is unique and adds a certain amount of flare to jug. It may have been an"End of Day" jug as it appears that the make grabbed hold of the base and bottom of jug- it appears to have left hand or finger marks in the brown coloring. Appears to be approximately 2 to 3 gallon capacity. The word Pioneer has been stenciled onto the upper shoulder. It is in excellent condition. KENTUCKY FARM FIND 1/2 GALLON SIZE BOURBON WHISKEY MOONSHINE HAND TURNED GREAT FORM AND FINISH. ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE STONEWARE JUG offered as acquired from estate. I discovered this piece a few years back in a barn in Henry County. Kentucky, and am offering it just as found- magnificent old piece with great form. Has subtly defined ribs from turning. Applied handle, and I really like the shape on this one; shoulders do not flare in a pronounced way, so you ... moreget more of a minie ball shape than a beehive. If it was good enough for a moonshiner, it's good enough for me! Jug holds 8 cups(1/2 gallon) of fluid comfortably to shoulders. Or 9 if the guy filling it up really likes you. Stands almost 10 inches tall and is about 5 1/4 inches diameter at base. Condition is difficult to describe with these pieces, as you expect some normal imperfections in the original glaze, and there may be a few original slips in the paint or pinpoint wear, but there are no notable chips, cracks, dings or repairs of any kind. One area around side/base join looks a bit jinxy, but this is obviously the original craftsmanship and not damage. There is one bit of a nick in the handle, but it is under the original paint and glaze. So it's original. This is a very fine Western Stoneware 2 gallon crock jug. It is 12 inches tall and has a 8.75 inches diameter base. It is two-tone with a vivid brown top and a cream colored body. It has a big blue number 2 and a blue western stoneware maple leaf on the body. There appears to be only minor ware on the base. There are no visible chips on the handle or spout. There are some minor chips on the top edge of the body. The overall presentation is very nice with great luster. This would make a very nice display item.

Vintage brown wiskey jug. Unknown maker.No visible makers mark. Jug measures 7 1/4" tall. 1/8 across the base. Unfortunitly the jug does have a crack(shown in pics)that runs from base up to around handle. It appears that someone had made a lamp out of it at one time.It has a hole drilled the bottom center and another drilled into the side near base. Even with crack and drill holes.Jug seems sturdy. Up for auction is a really neat vintage one-half gallon shoulder jug with a seldom seen color combination. This jug has a medium brown color on the top portion of the jug and dark brown on the bottom section. I can't recall ever seeing this color combination. The jug stands approximately 8 1/2" tall and has a base diameter of just under 6" This is a super cool smaller vintage should jug that is in excellent condition and has no chips. Condition: Overall good with a horizontal crack that encircles all but 3" of crock~but it has not broken thru. Also. EARLY 1900s HAND TURNED BROWN STONEWARE POTTERY BEE HIVE WHISKEY JUG 2 GALLON
We are pleased to offer for your consideration this great old piece of stoneware pottery from the early 1900s. It was hand turned into a bee hive shaped large whiskey jug and is approximately 2 gallons in size. It is in relatively good condition with only a couple of small chips one being on the handle about the size of half a small fingernail and one near the base about the same size. There is a flaw about the size of a thumb near the base that looks like it was there prior to firing and some small nicks and dings from normal use from over the years. Along the bottom it appears that it may not have been glazed in a couple of areas prior to firing also but this jug is still a great example of early pottery. Please look closely at our pictures so you can see all the things we have tryed to describe prior to bidding.

This is a nice vintage brown glazed stoneware jug with wide mouth(3 3/8" across the top. Opening is 2 5/8" The glaze is fantastic; smooth, shiny, and even with large areas of yellow/green discoloration that happened during firing in the kiln. It is in excellent condition with absolutely no chips or cracks, just a few light scuffs and scratches. This piece displays beautifully. It measures 9 3/4" H x 7 1/4" in diameter. It will be packed securely and insured during shipping.

2 Gallon Antique Brown Salt Glazed Ceramic & Porcelian Beehive Jug Americana
This is a 2 gallon brown whiskey jug that is in good condition. I would rate it a B+. I could not find a maker's mark. There are a few minor nicks(shown in pictures) One on the mouth of jug and the other on the handle. The other spots have come from the finish on the jug during the firing process. It has a beautiful finish of brownish green and mold lines that make the beehive appearance. It is 11" tall and 9" wide. There is and indentation at the point where the handle was attached to the jug. The bottom has some glaze that is swirled. Probably from where it was turned during the firing process.
