Natural ash glaze at the inside of the mou th& on the shoulders. Running down the body& creating a unique design in e arthen shades. The rough stone p eaks out from under the glaze in several areas. Creating different textures. I believe this is from the glaze wearing or chipping off in places over the many years. There is no glaze on the inside of the jug beyond the inside lip. Which suggests to me that this piece was created before non toxic glazes were implemented. Unsigned. With no markings anywhere on the pi ece. Extremely thick& heavy. Carafe, or cocktail shaker(think Mad Men bar accessory) Fairly heavy piece on a blond wood. The center area has roughly carved textured lines that have a vintage green paint lightly applied(a little on the curved handle too) The wood has a metal insert. Spout, and stopper- not sure if it's chrome or burnished stainless(nickel finish) The spout is attached with tiny screws that are tarnished or rusty. The bottom has a thinner wood disk screwed on and it's stamped. But I can't make it out other than"Made in Italy" Pitcher alone is about 12" high. The stopper metal is 2 1/8" tall. Vintage Large& Small Pitcher Set Lily of the Valley Design Excellent Condition! I have owned this large and small Pitcher set for over 25 years. I purchased it at an estate auction. One of the most beautiful patterns and colors I have ever seen. It is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips to mar its beauty. The large pitcher is approx. 11.5" tall and 8" at its widest point. The small pitcher is about 4.5" tall and about over 4.5" at its widest point. The colors are lovely. The lily of the valley flowers have a hint of blue around them. The large pitcher especially has some weight to it and since I see no crazing. I am guessing they are stoneware. These pitchers are trimmed in gold.I'm guessing 22k from the color. There are some color variances which you can see on the bottom of the large pitcher(almost like ... morea finger print) and some lighter spots on the brown colors too. This set has no makers mark that I can see. Please study pictures carefully and ask any questions prior to bidding. Thomas Mayer'Canova' blue and white transferware pitcher. Stoke-upon-Trent' Cliff Bank Works, c. 1826-1835. Mayer's blue printed. Earthenware was of good quality and he enjoyed a large export trade. The pitcher is about 10" tall and 9" across from the handle to the end of the spout. Crisp transfer. High glaze and marked on the bottom, it is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or restoration that I can see. It does have a glaze miss or rub on one side of the handle(see photo) but otherwise no flaws. I have not tried to remove the water stains inside. The pitcher. Showing its use over the many years. This incredibly beautiful pitcher dates from the short period of 1897-1903. While Bauer and Rosenthal were merged into one company. The piece is in absolutely perfect condition. Not a nick, chip or scratch anywhere! The gold trim on the rim and handle show no signs of wear anywhere. The painting is just stunning! the flowers and fruit leap off the surface with vibrant color and detail. I have not seen any other pieces like this anywhere- a must for collectors of Bavarian china! Unique Primitive 19th Century French Clay Pottery Pitcher Confit Pot Antique
This is a unique 19th century large French pottery pitcher with a handle and minimal pouring spout. Glaze is mustard gold interior and exterior top half and cream/grey bottom half. Appears to be red clay underneath. The design resembles brick work or a stone wall made of crudely painted marks in green glaze. Probably southern France. Came from an estate with many 19th century French pottery pieces(I have 4 of them, if you don't see them in my other listings please ask) Most of these pottery pieces from that region have flaws in glaze and clay which give them character and this one has many, it is quite primitive. There is crazing/tiny cracks to glaze typical for age. There are no cracks in the clay; there is one chip on the upper rim near the handle and glaze missing underneath the chip on the pitcher vessel. Some of the glaze on the ... moreupper rim is worn off, which is common. It is a beautiful piece and goes well with the other one I have for sale. Fantastic molded relief pitcher with Lily of the Valley detail. This is from a collection of English Pitchers from the early to mid 1800's. The mark on the bottom also says"Edward Walley. Cobridge, Staffordshire. English The label that is shown is as found from a Maryland antique shop. The piece is glazed inside and matte on the outside. 9-3/4" tall and 8-1/2" from the outermost part of handle to tip of spout. Wonderful detail. Up for bid is an antique T F& S Ltd/ Thomas Forester& Sons gold floral Chintz pitcher with Asian motif featuring birds. Koi and flora. T his pitcher has an ink stamp on the bottom with dates it to be circa 1925. It has overall crazing inside with some darkening on the inside. The outside gold floral chintz and colorful green, black and orange design looks good with some minor wear on the gold rim and wear on the upper side of the handle. See photo 10. There is outside crazing, too. It is hard to see because the outside print covers it. There is a small split like chip on the rim.see photo 9. The bottom has the circa 1925 ink stamp and"No. 2" inscribed on the bottom.

Antique Pitcher. Strawberry pattern. Signed and Dated. Gold Handle
This looks like a hand painted pitcher of some sort. I was told it was a lemonade pitcher. But it looks kind of small for that. It is almost 5 inches tall at the lip. It has lovely strawberries painted on it and a nice green band all the way around. The bottom has two crossed swords and in the top there is a crown, under that on the left is a R and the right a C. On the bottom is what looks like a butterfly or bird, but I'm not sure. There is also a word below that but I can't read it. This pitcher is signed by the handle"Jennie Sokolfield and either 1911 or 1811. It has no chips or cracks. Please feel free to ask any questions.

This fine pitcher was manufactured by John Moses and the Glasgow Pottery company of Trenton New Jersey. Glasgow pottery was established in 1863 and quickly became one of the largest and most successful potters in New Jersey. Glasgow produced a variety of centennial commemerative tea cups and saucers for which they are well known for. Many organizations sponsored fund raising activities centered on the 100th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party that also featured Glasgow cups and saucers. We have for auction a beautiful Alhambra Austrian pitcher. Made in Vienna and hand painted in a geometrical pattern. The vivid colors show cranberry, plum, hunter green, gray and gold. It's in great condition and measures 12 1/2" tall with 3 3/4" at the spout opening and approximately 4 1/2" in diameter across the base. There are no cracks, chips, repairs or crazing. Great Primitive Yellow Ware Pitcher I have had this pitcher for a very long time. Its time to let it go. The pitcher if very heavy and a bright shade of mustard yellow. I think the third picture shows the true color of the pitcher the best. No cracks or chips. There is crazing throughout the pitcher and glaze lines. The handle looks applied and the base is ribbed. It appears very primitive due the crudeness of the pottery. Meaning there are a lot of pottery lines and unevenness. There are rough lines inside the pitcher. These are not cracks but from the pottery making process. A really pretty pitcher. Measures: 8 1/2" tall Base is 4 1/4" Width is about 8" including handle and 6" without the handle. Large Antique Hand Painted Ewer Pitcher Gold Edged Signed P.K. 1900 17" x 8"
This is a beautiful handpainted antique ewer or pitcher. It is large in size and stands 17" high and it is 8" wide. Weighing just under 4lbs. The only markings are a handpainted signiture on the lower"cupid" side which reads"P.K. 1900. I am unsure if that is a date, but going by appearance this vase could very well be that old. The handle and base are painted in gold paint and the edges of the scenes are done in a raised gold border. One side depicts a cupid on a chariot of doves, and the other side depicts a man ad women in fancy old-fashioned costumes. The rest of the vase is painted a sky blue. It is in good antique condition with subtle fading and slight paint loss throughout. Up for your consideration is a very early unique stoneware beer jug/ pitcher from the late 1800's classified as WHITES OF UTICA NY POTTERY PROSIT. Piece is extremely well made weighing 4 1/2 LBS and measuring 11 Inches X 8 1/2 Inches. Pitcher is very ornate with many different decorative standards and reliefs. It is very unusual to find such High Relief Molding on Whites Stoneware which makes this a highly decorative piece. Also of note is the very unusual serpent or snake handle. Antique Pitcher with Floral Design (Medium Size), Victorian Appearance
Antique pitcher with floral design in fair condtion. It has a lot of crackling and wear consistent with an antique. My mother purchased this in the 1970's as an antique. The pitcher measures 7 1/2" high and 4 3/4" wide at the base. I am also listing a slightly larger version separately on Ebay. The larger pitcher measures 8 1/4" high x 5 1/4" wide at the base. The larger pitcher is in better condition and does not appear to have crackling.

The grazing cow design is popular but finding one in this glaze and colorati on is very rare. Striking 5-Piece Sky Blue Victorian Porcelain Wash Bowl & Pitcher Set France
This auction is for a Fabulous Victorian 5-Piece Wash Bowl and Pitcher Set. The set Displays Wonderfully. It will add a burst of color and will instantly become the focal point of any room. Each piece is marked"France" on the bottom. I am not certain of the maker but by the form and feel and style the set is clearly Victorian and likely dates to the late 1800s. The set is decorated with a beautiful sky blue color against a white porcelain and gold edging. The pieces are molded with a relief leaf and scroll designs. The set consists of a large pitcher(11 inches tall) A large bowl(16 inches across) a smaller pitcher(7 inches tall) a soap dish and a cup. The set is in very good condition. Especially for its age. Antique 19th C English COFFEE POT, Brownhills*Japanese pattern*Staffordshire
NO FAIR OFFER DENIED*This coffee pot is decorated in the popular"Japanese style" with bamboo handle. Bamboo leaves, cherry blossoms, and trellis. The pot has a stippled body and overglaze enamel painted colors of dark brown, green, pink, and ochre. It is about 7-1/2" 19 cm) high. And 7" 18 cm) wide from spout to handle. The condition is excellent. No chips. Cracks, or restorations. Please note the lid which does have what appears to be from(maybe) old dust or grease from sitting on a display counter.I washed it but it has a stain and did not know what type of cleaner to use. The coffee pot dates c. 1880. It was made by Brownhills Pottery Co. Tunstall, Staffordshire, and is marked with their pattern number 1469, and an impressed BP CO. The wares are usually mis-identified as majolica(perhaps because the colors used are similar to some of those wares) In fact, this is a stoneware bodied jug with relief moulding and a smear glaze. Vintage Langley Lovatt Ware Red Pottery Pitcher ~ Arts & Crafts
This special 5" tall red pottery pitcher is an enigma to me. I have had it for years but have not been able to find any information on it. It is a great piece and would appear to be very"arts and crafts" made in England. Note stamps and marks on the bottom. Wording that I can make out ~ Lovatt's Langley Ware England W and then some impressed marks that I can't make out. There is a very. Very slight, tight hairline that runs from wording on the base to the base of the handle. I have to look and look again to find it. Unfortunately, I can't get a photo that shows this hairline. You really can't see it. I hope someone knows about this great little piece! Let me know!

Vintage Glazed Pitcher Made in Germany "Prov Saxe" ES Erdmann Schlegelmilch
Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a Glazed Pitcher made in Germany. I believe this estate find is Vintage. But I don't know very much about it I will leave it up to the bidders to decide. The marking on the bottom appear to be: LROV SHE ES Germany(pic 7) It is in very good condition with the excption of a 1/4" chip on the side of the spout at the top(see pics 2& 10) It is 11" tall and measures 3 1/4" across the base.
