This is a very fine example Of Guerin& Co Limoges. This cider pitcher is artist signed and dated. G. Czech, 1911. Over a hundred years old and free or chips, cracks and repairs. Handpainted by the artist, it is a nice example of art nouveau decoration, in my opinion. The paint, especially the gold, has some normal and expected wear from years of use. stands about 6.5" tall and is about 7" at the widest.

Antique German Cider Pitcher with Lilacs
I'm listing many items this week at good prices. The prices are not a reflection of the quality. This is an old German cider pitcher. It is almost 8 inches tall to the spout and its width is just under 10 inches. It is 6 inches tall to regular part of pitcher and it has four angles plus spout. There are no chips or nicks or cracks. There is wear to the gold around the top ridge(but not gold design at top edge(see last picture) and there is wear to the handle.so it has been used. Its bottom says only"Germany"so that would make it probably from 1920's to 1939. I've used it as a display piece. Because of its size. It will need a larger box and that accounts for higher postage.

Antique 1900-1940 Cobalt Blue Apple Cider/Lemonade Pitcher
Antique apple cider/lemonade pitcher from the 1900s. By Nippon, handpainted. It comes with one(1) cup. It is in a great condition: no chips, scratches or cracks. There is a flaw: a tiny dark brown dot inside the spout, which occured during the firing in the kiln, because of the speck of sand in the clay. That is a common thing in the porcelan/ceramic items from that era. It still occurs today, of course. It is under the glaze and cannot be removed. Also, there is some loss of gold on the handle. Overall, great condition for the item that is this old. It is 6 1/4" tall, and 8" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. It is 7" at the belly and 5 1/2" across the opening, not including the spout.

This piece is made of excellent grade porcelain and has been cast into a classic mold design forthis maker. The central motif of the artist is cherries with foliage on an earth tone background. The upper inch of the rim and the handle have been heavily gilt in gold. This is a classic piece and is quite lovely. This set is made of the finest grade porcelain and has been cast into a unique mold design.
