This is a lovely antique copper luster(lustre) milk or cream pitcher from the late 1800's.found in a local estate sale and fresh to the market. Clean and simple lines and wonderful deep blue in the colored band. Pitcher is 3-1/2 inches tall and 4-1/2 inches from spout to handle. Mouth is 2-3/8 inches in diameter and base is 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Overall in very good condition.base shows wear and small white area that appears to be leftover from a sticky tag. Minor wear on the copper lustre floral pattern in one area on the blue band. Otherwise. No chips, cracks or other blemishes on this sweet little pitcher.

Vintage COPPER LUSTERWARE PITCHER Design Double Band Colbalt
This is a very lovely Pitcher- COPPER LUSTER WARE The colors really shine! The design are waves and round balls with the blue and copper colors meshing. There is beading in the middle of the pitcher and it is raised. The beading is raised as well around the top about 1/4" from the rim. This looks like it wasn't used very much. I don't see any scratches or chips or'pings. Height- 5.25" From spout to end of handle- 6.25" Opening- 3.5" A lovely piece to add to a collection or to buy for someone who likes lusterware. Hi. this pitcher stands 3" tall and is about 3.25" across. The little bowl or it might have been a tea cup. Is 2.1/8" tall and 3.25" across. There are places that the shine is gone but for as old they are- they really are in good condition! The little cream pitcher does have a chip on the spout lip. Hi. this pitcher stands 5.25" tall and is about 6.25" across. Needless to say-over the years it has lost some of it's lustre! There are places that the shine is gone but for as old as it is- I thought it was in pretty good condition. Until I looked at the bottom. It has been repaired. The bottom is not the original but has been covered in clay. I would say by the looks of the repair that it was broken when it wasn't very old. I'm not sure of the maker.no mark.there is a black swirl type glaze mark inside bottom. I don't know if it means anything. Measures.3 1/4" tall.opening is 2" spout to handle end is 4" Great shape for its age and use! A few very minor surface scratches.doesn't affect piece in any way. A couple of"minor" spots that didn't get glazed.again.no affect. One"minor" chip or chipped glaze to the left of spout in pic.3 on the lower beaded band. Not deep by any means: Can't be noticed easily:matches color of copper w/out of flash. Pic.4 is a glare spot on handle. Up for bid is an antique Copper Luster Staffordshire Pitcher from the late Victorian age. The pitcher has a cobalt band with vine design. The pitcher measures 5-1/8" tall and 4-3/4" handle to spout. Nearly all copper luster produced was from the Staffordshire district throughout the 1800's. This piece is marked with the number 136 and an X. It is also marked Made In England. And because it is marked Made In England, it was produced after 1890. It is in very good condition for its age. There is one tiny rim chip. I could not find any other flaws, but there could be other very tiny flaws in this because it was made with a reddish-brown clay and is nearly the same color as the copper. ANTIQUE PITCHER AND WASH BOWL HUGE! BAND OF PINK ROSES/BLUE BAND/ GOLD TRIM
This is a very large pitcher and bowl that my late mother bought in an Antique store in Jackman. Maine close to 50 years ago in 1967. They were old when purchased. The markings on the bottom of both the pitcher and bowl show only a number 2163 on both. Since 1967 it has literally sat on a cherry washstand in a master bedroom. It has no chips. There is a slight discoloration mark under the lip of the bowl which I took a picture of. This does not show when displayed. These pieces were old when purchased but the gold banding and pink roses with blue band looks great. These pieces look great. Usual crazing due to age of pieces. Shows wonderfully. Feel free to ask questions. I'm not an expert in describing these pieces. The pitcher measures 15" across and is 5" high. I'm not sure of the maker.no mark.there is a black swirl type glaze mark inside bottom. I don't know if it means anything. Measures.3 1/4" tall.opening is 2" spout to handle end is 4" Great shape for its age and use! A few very minor surface scratches.doesn't affect piece in any way. A couple of"minor" spots that didn't get glazed.again.no affect. One"minor" chip or chipped glaze to the left of spout in pic.3 on the lower beaded band. These were designed as cheap fair souvenirs and housewife treasure pleasures to brighten dark coal heated cottages in early 19thc England. Now we relish Copper Lustre as collectible pretties. Mustard Band Copper Lustre stands 4" tall and 2.5" across round base. Condition Report: No major damage. No hairlines, very nice even and overall shiny patina with good age first 19thc period. Sound, sits straight on flat surface, no nicks at lip or handle area where most used over time. There are random shaded small areas on body indicating glaze transfer in the firing process, not to be considered a flaw or damage, please see where I point out a small discolor darkened area. You can also see this on inner neck band and spout surface; true collectors realize these are antiques and such variation is expected.
