1877 STONEWARE JUG by PINDER. BOURNE AND CO. Fabulous antique stoneware jug moulded in relief with pink prunus blossoms and tree branches. the handle is colored and shaped like a tree branch. The rim is decorated with a green band of flowers petals. The bottom is marked with dated English Registry mark. Pinder. Bourne and Co was a Staffordshire pottery manufacturer operating Nile Street Works, Burslem, from 1862. Noted for work in Japanese style, including stoneware jugs. Proprietor worked in partnership with Doulton company, producing earthenware and porcelain from 1877 until retirement in 1882, when the firm traded as Doulton and Co. iron stone pitcher and bowl
This Basin and pitcher are unknown to me. I paid a good buck at a church charity auction. The pitcher is 11 inches at the highest point and the bowl is 15 inches. There is a very slight off color at the bottom of the bowl. The bowl also has a very faint bluish tint to it. It is a very nice set that I am now going to box up. Using plastic or cloth then packing material. The older woman stated do not put newspaper on it for whatever reason. So I will not. Maybe the ink from the paper. This auction is for an antique hand painted floral pink& white pitcher. The pitcher is very old. Most likely from between 1900-1940, but possibly earlier. The piece is unmarked. There is visible damage due to its very old age but the pitcher is still so pretty it is still worth displaying as it is. There is severe crazing and cracks throughout. There is a large crack on the front that starts at the rim and goes down and stops at the floral area. There is also a chip on the tip of the pitcher spout. You can see all of these areas in the pictures. The pitcher is still very well in tact and does not run the risk of cracking any more as long as it is taken care of. It is made of a very thick, durable and firm porcelain glass- that is why it has lasted all these years in spite of the rough handling it has taken. Doulton Lambeth Rare Dog Handle Hunting Pitcher Antique English 6 3/4" tall
This is a lovely fine English pitcher. From the 1800's with applied figures. Around the plumpest part of the belly are horses, hunting scenes and dogs. The deep red iron oxide glaze glows orangy brown on the yellow clay of the stoneware body, while it changes to a nice ochre where the dip covered the figural decoration. The rare handle is applied, and is a wonderfully formed hunting dog. Condition of this beautiful pitcher is good with one small chip on the lip. And firing lines where the spout is joined which is typical in the manufacture of these pieces. The mark is"Doulton Lambeth England" This lovely English pitcher measures about 6 3/4" tall and about 71/2" wide. ANTIQUE 19th C.LG HEAVILY EMBOSSED BLUE & GRAY SALTGLAZED STONEWARE PITCHER
This is one of the most highly embossed and decorated stoneware pitchers I have ever seen. All the blue is under the glaze and the dark green is over painted. This piece measures 11 3/4" 29.8 cm) in height. 6 1/2" 16.5 cm) in diameter at the widest point, 4 1/2" 11.4 cm) in diameter at the bottom and 3 3/4(9.6 cm) in diameter at the top including the spout. There is no company mark, only the number"675" incised on the unglazed base and a hand scratched"4" The pitcher(or jug) is most likely German and the style of the decoration would date it to around the 1870s. Between each decorated band of designs there are horizontal beads and rope designs. 10 in all. Around the top there is a narrow band of"fleur-de-lis" designs. Below that is a band of eight winged cherub heads. The next wide band has four"Bows ... morewith drops" and four fruited swags that alternate over a horizontal incised background. On the body is a wide band that has eight oval"windows" with large winged angels displayed from the waist up. The base of each angel as open blue and green designs. The handle is"C" shaped with a cobalt stripe and large bead down the spine. When viewed from each side there is a beaded design with strap work. Next the base of the handle on the left side is a 1/2" dollop of clay that was left on the piece when it was fired. Sometimes small pieces of clay transferred from other pieces when stacked close together in the kiln. My research shows this water pitcher to have been made by William& Thomas Adams(My Granny's Attic Antiques: UK Porcelain and Pottery Marks) They were in business from 1866-1900. Which put them during the"Aesthetic Movement" of 1860-1900. The pitcher measures 12 1/2" tall to the spout. Pattern is brown transfer. Lovely Vintage Transfer Ware Grecian Children Grooming with Roses Pitcher
This is a sweet ceramic pitcher with a transfer ware picture depicting three Grecian girls grooming themselves and each other with roses. One girl is hold a mirror for the other to see. Pitcher is embossed and decorated with pink at both the rim and the base. Measures 7" tall. 4" in diameter at the rim, 7 1/4" from the spout across the top to the outermost area of the handle, and nearly has a 4" square diameter at the base. The handle itself is 4" tall. There is some rubbing of the pink near the rim and down the center of the transfer ware area as seen in my second picture. General condition is very good with no other dings chips, cracks, or repairs. Inside is clear of any problems, too. I pack with lots of wrap and TLC. Very pretty English porcelain pitcher in lovely condition. Brown floral design on white. May be what is known as transfer ware. There are a couple of tiny glaze pops on the body about 4" below the spout.barely noticeabl e. I don't see any cracks or feel any chips. On the bottom of the pitcher is a rather blurry maker's mark that reads"Porcelaine Opaque. Trade Mark" then a blurry coat of arms below which is a word I can't make out, and below that is the word"England" Please refer to the last photo for a view of the entire mark. This listing is for a W. B. COBRIDGE museum quality pitcher. This antique ornately detailed. Relief molded, pitcher is authenticated with the English registry mark. The background of this piece is stippled with a matching teardrop relief pattern on each side. A medallion is in the center with a teardrop-shaped border of scrolled stylized leaves. Stylized flowers encircled the rim. The handle design is of two braided snakes. The handle and interior is gloss glazed with a tiny spec of blue glaze trapped in the handle. The exterior body is a matt finish. This elegant pitcher is as perfect as the day it was made and I would consider it to be in MINT condition. And I seldom use that term. There are no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no hairlines and no crazing. ANTIQUE COPPER LUSTRE 19TH C PITCHER ENGLISH APPLIED FIGURES FACE MINT CONDITION
A COPPER LUSTRE PITCHER WITH REAL PERSONALITY! HEY COLLECTORS! Fresh to the market this week is first time listing of a genuine early period 19th c English Copper Lustre Pitcher of goodly size with all the bells and whistles one could look for in one piece; highly lustrous shiny irridescent glaze. Applied polychrome tactile figures to the blue mid body band; beaded and ribbed body; a Mythical Face peering out from under the spout in relief, and overall, mint excellent condition. The pitcher stands five inches tall and three inches across the open top. It is unmarked on the bottom. Just more and plenty shiny deep copper overglaze as you can see from tilted picture, and true colors as taken on a recent spring day in natural daytime sunshine; what you see is accurate. On the blue band is a left and riight applied figural raised decoration of ... moremaidens in pink and orange gowns playing with spotted brids on a fence and central under the spout. Is a cluster bouquet of an orange, 2 lemons, and a pink morning glory flower with foliage. The beading twin rows is distinct and sharp, as are the ribbed rows along base for eye appeal, and the handle is slight ribbed. The under-face is just a nice extra touch and you can see the profile provided. The deep copper glaze wraps around to the interior cavity by two inches. Condition Report: Overall untouched. Unrepaired excellent condition. I see no hairlines or chips. For the sake of ulitmate accuracy, there is a white spot size of pencil tip on Pink Lady's shoulder of gown, may be a glaze flake or misfire, but been there the entire time. I carried this back from Florida on an airline flight having found it down there. Noting many good antiques go South with retirees saving the best for last, and then they come back North to make another Collector happy all over again! Honestly this is very near what I paid for it, I'd love for a serious collector to have this for display, and every piece I list does find a good home. The blue is right where it should be throughout. I have seen some later examples that are hideous in how much blue was used and how it bled outside of the images. Especially Fannie Flagg. Sometimes the overuse of blue in her eyes can make her look like a ghoul at best; if not completely obliterate any facial features or expression. It is too bad it has a light. Hairline crack, otherwise it would be perfect. The hairline is solid and doesn’t appear to be a problem. I’m not sure when that happened. Considering most of these have some degree of chipping. Especially around the spout, this is a really nice, well cared for, early example of a classic pitcher. Wish I had the matching mug to go with it but I don’t. Antique Vintage Warwick Pitcher 1 Quart 9.5 Inch 10GA Brown Flowers Both Sides
This pitcher came from an auction in Vermont. It is marked 10GA Warwick on the bottom. Warwick was out of Wheeling. West Virginia from 1887 through 1951. The pitcher has the brown shading background with light flowers on each side. It measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the spout. 6 1/2" from the handle to the tip of the spout, and about 5" in diameter at the widest point. It has some wear, see all pictures. There is a chip on the handle, see the 10th pictures, and a couple of surface chips/wear, see the 5th and 11th picture. The pitcher holds 4 cups when full. There is crackling in the glaze.

Antique and absolutely gorgeous! Crafted. Designed and hand painted by Robert Hanke, originating in Austria. I'm not sure about the exact age, but would estimate it to be between 1900- 1920. It's in absolutely great condition. No chips or cracks, the colours are still vibrant and the gilding on the handle and on the edges is without losses! The neck is blush green. 19thc Antique British Parian Ware Creamer Hunting Scene Dogs Embossed Jug Small
This English parian creamer camer from an auction in Vermont. It's a wonderful little piece with a different hunter and his dog on either side. The creamer measures 3 1/8" high to the top of the spout and 3 1/2" from the tip of the spout to the handle. There are no chips or cracks. There are some rough spots and some spots that may have been made during the manufacturing process. If my research is correct. This parian ware pitcher dates to the 19th century.
