I will be selling a lot of my collection of procelain, dolls and vintage toys which most of them are being sold in my store so please take a look n see my! The Ewer/Pitcher is marked Dresden SEMI-PORCELAIN and the basin is not marked. I do not believe that this is an original pair but both are actually old. The pitcher has embossed designs in the middle part and by the top. See images. It has a muted bouquet of flowers that I cannot determine. The pitcher also has some crazing but no cracks that I can see. There's also a muted bouquet inside the snout. The basin looks like it was used and there are some water marks inside the basin. It is also embossed on top and it is not marked. The floral design cloub be cherry blossom. I cannot determine if the florals on both pieces are decals of handpainted since they are both muted. The basin also has cracks inside, by the lip and outside(I found 2) but its not a cvrack the goes through the ceramic. The basin is a very thick ceramic almost like an Ironstone piece. It measures 17" in diameter and about 5.25" high. The Pitcher measures 11.875" High, 10" by 8.5" NOTE: If you purchase this item. Please wait for my invoice since I will need to add the insurance(they do not automatically calculate) This is a very heavy item, an oversized package and will need to be double boxed. I will entertain a pick if you live nearby Jersey City, New Jersey. Item Condition: This item overall is in very good unused condition. I do not see any cracks. Measurements are approximately– Pitcher is 7 ½” tall x 6½”wide with a 5 ¼” diameter at its widest point. The bowl is 9 3/8” wide from handle to handle. 2 ½” tall and has an 8” diameter at the top. Condition– I am no pro and cannot grade this set. With that said I found; uniform crazing on both items(very pretty) no chips. No cracks. No previous repairs– simply wonderful! Makers Mark– Pitcher is not marked. The bowl is stamped with a name I cannot decipher(part of it looks like Cal? I really cannot tell) The number“1108” and“USA” This is ... moreone of many quality items from the same estate.This estate contained many items verified(some even documented) from the late1800’s thru the late 1930’s– some earlier. This is a vintage china chamber basin and jug in a lovely flow blue design. Then trimmed in gold. Pink flower decorate both sides of the pitcher. The bowl is especially lovely with its raised design and gentle shading. It is hallmarked"RS Prussia" on the bottom of the pitcher, there is no hallmark on the bowl. Both the large bowl and the pitcher are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Just a small bit of crazing. The pitcher measures about 11" high. The bowl is 16" in diameter x 4-1/2" high. This auction is for a beautiful complete bathroom set of Wash bowl. Pitcher, soap dish and toothbrush holder. I bought this set at an auction in Germany. The set is c1900 Porcelain from the Boch company. This is pre Villeroy and Boch. See below for Wikipedia insert about the company. There is a chip on the underside of the lid to the Toothbrush holder. Also, the lid to the toothbrush holder does not sit on the dish perfectly so there is a slight wobble when the lid is on the holder. There are no other cracks, chips or defects that I can see. MUST SEE Art Nouveau Deco Wilkinson Staffordshire Chamber Set Wash Basin Pitcher POPPIES Pre Cliff click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Description Simply spectacular c. 1900-1925 Wilkinson Royal Staffordshire very large wash bash basin and pitcher with stylized poppies. Marked as shown in photos on base with the Wilkinson crown mark used post 1896 and before the switch to the the Clarice Cliff marks in the late 1920s. The design outline is transfer and then they are beautifully hand painted. The Basin measures about 16 1/4" in diameter and about 5 1/2" tall. CONDITION: Fine crazing throughout. Minor irregularities along the top rim. A small blemish near the bottom as shown in photo. The Pitcher measures about 12" tall and about 9" wide with handle. CONDITION: Some light very hard to see crazing; can see it ... moreon underside of base. There is a tiny nick in the body with a very faint hairline(about 1" or so on exterior) You can see it more on the inside. All in all. In fine shape. None of these very minor issues affects the appearance of the piece. It presents beautifully in real life! PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS BELOW. There was a gradually transition at Wilkinson from the more traditional Victorian motifs of the late 1900s to the bold Art Deco designs of Clarice Cliff of the 1930s. It is interesting to note that Clarice Cliff came to Wilkinson in 1916 when she was only 17 years old. Her interesting drawings brought her to the attention of the owner of Wilkinson and he let her experiment on some old stock blanks. By 1927. She was off studying in London and Paris. She then returned to Wilkinson and by 1929, her designs went into full production and the Wilkinson marks were changed to include her name. Some of her designs, like Firs, are known for their'stylized glimpses of the natural world' These poppies, with their deco style stems, are likely a precursor of the designs to come. You are viewing an England Ironstone Water Pitcher and Wash Basin. The pitcher is 11/2 inches tall at the tallest point and has a very decorative and elegant handle. The wash basin is approximately 15 1/2 inches in diameter. The wash basin does have some crackling in the glaze. Most of which is not visible except for a couple lines 3 inches or so in length. There is a line on the bottom that is noticeable. It runs about 4 inches long. You can't feel it at all and I've filled the water basin and pitcher full with water and there is no leaking or seepage at all. Just want to give complete disclosure. VICTORIAN DOULTON BURSLEM FLOW BLUE ENGLISH WASH BASIN SET: PITCHER CHAMBER POTS
This flow blue six piece ironstone wash basin set in the Florida pattern was made by Doulton Burslem in England. The back stamp indicates it dates to 1891-1902. The set includes a very large pitcher and basin. Two chamber pots, a tall mug, and a section of a soap dish. The photos are arranged to show the items in that order. The set is in various conditions. The large basin has been beautifully restored after being broken in a number of places. Observe in photo#4 a yellowing color which shows where repairs were made in the early 70’s; the surface, however, remains smooth and shows no cracks. One of the chamber pots has three chips out of the top rim, the other a small one. This is a vintage Renate ceramic wash bowl/basin& pitcher set. It has very ornate mold details& both have lots of roses. This is a large heavy set. Especially the bowl. It is in excellent condition, no cracks or crazing, but there is a small chip on the underside rim of the bowl(see last photo) I had this on a washstand where it sat in a recessed hole& you couldn't see this at all, even standing alone you cannot see this.The bowl is 15 3/8" wide& 4 1/2" tall. Antique Villeroy& Boch Wash Basin and Pitcher in ivory and gold. Made in Dresden, Germany, between 1874 and 1909 according to the bottom maker's marks. This gorgeous matching set is in excellent condition(no crazing) And the gold bands are estimated to be 98 to 100% intact on both the basin and pitcher- very unusual for pieces of this age. The basin has no cracks or chips. In the interest of full honesty, the pitcher has one minor defect: a hairline crack which runs across the gold band(4.5mm or one-sixth of an inch) and approx 14mm(one-half inch) along the rim of the pitcher. The line is perhaps 1mm wide(I can't get a measurement with my digital caliper, but it appears to be literally about the width of a hair) It is not loose and does not go all the way through from the rim to the side(or from one side to the other) It is difficult ... moreto see in normal use and viewing; in fact. I only found it when reviewing the pictures I took for this listing. Please see the detailed pictures for complete condition information. Antique Rare Large Warwick 8pc Set Wash Basin Bowl Pitcher Chamber Pot Dish
Amazing. Rare, massive and stunning 8 piece Washstand set. Signed Warwick China. Pitcher is approx 11" tall, basin/bowl is approx 15" across x 5" deep, and the chamber pot is approx 8" tall. The Warwick factory opened in 1887 and closed in 1936, because of a flood most of their records were lost. There are a few small chips, small repairs(1 on underside rim of chamber pot lid) soap dish is cracked and has surface/paint wear. We do not want to split this set up but if no one buys all together then will list pieces separately at a later date. Because bowl, pitcher and chamber pot are such large pieces we may(or may not) need to ship in 3 packages, as to protect them better but will figure that out once it is determined where we are shipping to. Each piece(except the soap dish insert) has an aqua daffodil floral design with gold trim on the edges and handle. The underside of each piece has the Smith Phillips(East Liverpool. OH) Semi-Porcelain logo, which was used in the early 1900s. Huge Wash Basin Very nice condition. Especially, considering its’ age. There are no chips. WHEAT DESIGN COMMODE SET 1800's Wash basin Chamber pitcher &Straight Razor dish
A beautiful Wheat Design. This set matches. Even the basin has wheat decoration around its rim. The Straight razor dish could also be used for soap, and often was. It is stamped( Imperial Ironstone China) and made by Robert Cochran& Co. of Glasgow Scotland. It measures 8 1/2 inches. The Pitcher(Royal Ironstone China) is 12 1/2 inches high and is made by W&E Corn of England. The basin is 14 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches high. It is made by Baker& Co Ltd. of England. It has Pearl White written over the crest. All pieces are in excellent condition. In addition I am including a 1890 edition of the Hymn Book"The Finest of the Wheat" For Missionary and Revival Meetings. A very apropos item to be displayed with this set. 415 pages that shows a lot of use through the years.

I know nothing about this other than it is very pretty. It was given to me by a relative who passed away years ago and I've had it for about 35 years. Unfortunately I have no place to display it and see no reason to continue storing. The pitcher is about 5 inches tall and the base is about 2 1/2 inches across. The bowl is about 7 inches across. It has gold trim and pink& yellow roses. Both pieces are marked in red on bottom with"E2360" and a foil label that says"Japan by Adrian" I see no chips or cracks. It does look like some of the paint has worn off the edges of the handle. Please no international bidders. I ship only in the US and by Priority mail via USPS.
