Antique porcelain Ewer Pitcher hand painted Dogwood blossoms Birds Worcester?
It reminds me of Worcester. But it could be Austria or Germany. In great condition, no chips or cracks, afew light rub marks on the ecru background that I believe would polish out(picture 10) Measures 13.25" tall. I try to find any defects but I can't guarentee I'll see them all. No returns unless item is not as described. This is an older piece and therefor is no longer perfect as the day it was made. English Aesthetic Pottery Pitcher Asian Theme Birds & Cherry Blossom
This is a wonderful Aesthetic movement pottery pitcher. It is in a dark grey pottery with raised cherry blossoms and flying birds. The bottom is bulbous with raised cherry blossoms and round medallions. The pitcher is accented with very dark blue. Almost black glaze and gold gilt. Cherry blossoms are highlighter with white glaze. It stands 8" tall x 6" wide at the bulbous portion. It is marked on the bottom with the English Registry hallmark which looks to me like an N at the top on the diamond, Y at the right(dates it at 1879) E at the bottom and A on the left. It is hard to make out for sure. There is also blue hand painted numbers. It is in wonderful condition. No cracks, chips or repairs. Some wear to the gold. Antique stoneware pitcher with decorated love birds could also be considered as a Jug. This fabulous piece is rare. Unique, and seldom seen in this brown/green color. Notice the love birds on the branch and they are on both sides of the pitcher. Inside the bottom of the pitcher is the letter G. Very detailed roping, the love birds sitting on a branch with leaves and berries. This pitcher measures almost 8 inches high. And 4 1/2 inches across the top of the pitcher. Neat item. This piece dates to around the 1860s-1880s. The pitcher is Jackfield style black. With beautiful hand painted designs of birds, flowers and bees, done in thick impasto style paint. The rim and handle of the pitcher are nicely gilded, and there are gilded sprigs of leaves and berries amidst the painted designs. This piece is in excellent condition. The painted designs are bright and sharp. There is some wear to the gilding around the rim and on the handle. But nothing excessive. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. This auction is for a Lovely Antique Art Deco Porcelain Pitcher and Washbowl Set made by Hollinshead& Kirkham. H& K of Tunstall England. It is Beautifully Designed with a Pair of Long Tailed Birds flying above oversized Colorful Flowers on one side of the pitcher and a group of flowers on the other side against a white porcelain background. The flower motif is carried through on the side of washbowl. The pitcher measures 13 1/4 inches tall and the bowl. Which has 10 sides, measures 16 inches across. I believe the set dates to the early 1900s. There is age-appropriate loss of the gold trim on the edges of both pieces. A small area below the lip of the pitcher appears to be smudged(photo 10) The bowl has a small chip in the edge with a crack that extends about 2 1/2 inches from it(last two photos) Even so. C94) Early 19 th Century Brown w Orange Luster Cream Pitcher. Fans& Birds This simple but unmarked elegant pitcher. Measuring 5 ¾” tall by 4 ¼” wide by 3 ½” deep, features a simple ¼” border on the inside and outside of the top rim. Inside the rim is a continuous frieze of intricate brown transfer designs. The outside rim has random portions of the leaf, vine, and fan brown transfers used on the lower outside. The top outside of the handle has a less than 2” copy of the inside rim’s design. The bottom design begins with three patches of orange luster applied with the brown transfer placed over it. Its design consists of fans on either side of the pitcher facing towards the middle front. The fans have some aesthetic designs in them with a different bird in each fan; the birds face each other. In the middle of the pitcher(between ... morethe fans) is a larger bird with a long beak and even longer legs. Surrounding these three orange luster sections are simple brown vines and leaves. The bottom of the pitcher has a couple of orange luster marks and a short hairline that does not go through. The top of the handle appears to be weakened by a vertical crack on one side. Vintage porcelain pitcher and bowl birds design
I have no clue what year it was made or from what country. There are no markings on it like that. Found at my grandparents house and they claim it is at least over 50 years old. The pitcher is about 12 inches high and the bowl is about 15 inches wide to give you an idea of the size. Any questions or what more photos let me know thanks.

For sale we have a rare Victorian George Jones& Sons Enameled Pitcher& Bowl Set. This set is in a"Majolica" Style with Victorian Eastlake Sunflowers. Birds flying on Sky circles, and large stem Golden Fuji Mum's. It is Oriental style as well with both its decoration and shape(see pitcher and large sided bowl) The pattern name on the bottom is"Overton" it is written in hand painted script numbers 7660& a little"N" There are no chips, cracks nor restoration. The bowl measures 15 1/4" wide in dia. The pitcher is 12" tall by 9 3/8" across from Spout to handle. There is some paint loss, very minor on the pitcher's edge. I think on the bowl edge as well. We mention for accuracy in listing. This set has been cabinet kept for over 134 plus years. It is amazing to be in such pristine ... morecondition. There is an old piece of tape on the bottom with the date of July 19th 1883. This is also able to be traced by looking at the British Registry mark on the bottom in Brown Transfer writting. See pictures for marks and visual assessment of condition) We could not find another piece on Ebay at this time for this pattern in the name of Overton. There is a pattern number in red on the bottom of each piece. There is also a British Registry Mark telling the exact date in brown transfer print on the bottom. Really a super set. George Jones Sons Crescent Faience 8.5" Aesthetic Pitcher Birds and Bloom 1890's
I have for you this evening a beautiful example of Faience pottery that was fired at the kilns of George Jones and Sons around the end of the 19th century. This piece is made of fine grade clays and has been cast into a unique mold design with slender elongated body and bamboo style handle that is in keeping with the Aesthetic Movement decoration of the piece. This piece is decorated in the Aesthetic style popular at the time and has what appears to be cherry blossoms on the branch with birds in flight all in sepia tones with the pattern name of"Birds in Bloom" The rim and handle have been accented with gold gilt. Gorgeous 19th c. KPM Porcelain Cream/Milk Pitcher Handpainted with Birds&Insects
This beautiful baluster shaped spirally fluted milk pitcher features exquisitely two hand painted peacocks. A pheasant, a chicken and two other birds I have not identified along with butterflies, ladybugs and a grasshopper. The birds are set against a background of trees, rocks and shrubs. The piece is further enhanced with hand gilded decoration on the rim, spout and handle. The form is very reminiscent of 18th Chinese export. The pitcher piece carries the blue Berlin/KPM scepter mark that indicates post 1870 production. I would date the piece to the last quarter of the 19th c. It is 6.25" tall and approx. 4" in diameter. Antique Copper Luster Lustre Gild Pottery Pitcher Trees & Birds
Hi. Up for grabs here is a very old pottery pitcher with a pink color& copper gild. This is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, flea bites, bruises or hairlines. There is heavy crazing from age though. It also has a little bit of sticky stuff on the inside bottom, I'm not sure what to use to remove it but I'm sure it will come out.
