Thought it may be ironstone but possibly just a very heavy ceramic. Decorated with a nice floral display it is not marked so dont know a whole lot about it except it is quite old. as I will gladly combine shipping on multiple purchases. Vintage wash basin and pitcher pink/purple floral Cronin of Fredericksburg EUC
Lovely. Vintage wash basin and pitcher set was bought and stored in the attic for 20 years and never used according to its owner. This set from Cronin of Fredericksburg would make a great addition to a country cottage or turn-of-the-previous century decor. The pitcher is gilded around its mouth and has embossed(raised) scroll work designs in the porcelain and has 3 clusters of pink and purple flowers around it's outerside. One under its lip and two inside the lip, yet visible. There are four smaller clusters of the same floral design on the basin for a lovely feminine effect which would be lovely on a washstand(offered in another listing http:www.ebay.com/itm/251292938571?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649) in your chambre pour une personne or salle f de bains. England during the early to mid 1800s. The wash bowl and pitcher have large floral sprays with a printed geometric and floral background in brown transfer print. I do not know the exact name or manufacturer of this set, but it reminds of the patterns Minton produced in the early 1800s. Neither piece is marked. The bowl is scalloped and measures approximately 13" in diameter and stands about 4 1/2" tall. The pitcher stands approximately 10 5/8" tall and it has a nice sculpted handle with a squat paneled form. Item Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent. It is very clean and I see no chips. Cracks, ... moreor repaired areas except for a 1/2" chip on the foot rim of the pitcher that could easiyl be restored or left as is. The transfer details and color are strong with little to no wear and the glaze is glossy with no crazing, rubbing, or glaze loss except for the base rims which have standard rubbing. Striking Antique Pitcher & Wash Bowl Chamber Set Imari Colors Floral Leaf Design
This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Wash Bowl Chamber Set made of Semi Porcelain. It is Beautifully Decorated in a Floral. Leaf and Fern Pattern in a Brilliant Imari Palette of colors- Cobalt Blue and Iron Red- all highlighted and outlined in gold accents against a Semi-Porcelain background with molded flourishes. The bowl and the pitcher are each marked with handwritten number in gold- 934. The bowl as an impressed mark as well. I believe it reads 12 over 19. I am not certain of the maker or the exact age of the set. But from the form and the feel and the decorations. I am pretty certain they date to the mid to late 1800s and likely were made in the Staffordshire region of England. The Pitcher stands about 11 inches tall. It has a small glaze bubble pop(see photo 9) in the bottom foot. The colors and the images are crisp and ... morebright. There is fine. Even crazing throughout which only adds to the character and authenticity. The bowl measures 15 3/4 inches across. There is fine. Even crazing and two glaze pops on the edges(see photo 10) There is also what appears to be an old repair in the edge. When I purchased the piece, there was a large area of yellowish film. I cleaned much of that away to show what appears to be a very tight and faint line that stretches about 4 inches long at the lip of the bowl(see last two photos) Even so. The Set Displays Wonderfully and is a Great Find. The set was a recent estate sale purchase from an avid Chamber Set collector in Central Pennsylvania and is fresh to market. For your bidding consideration: Antique Bisto(Bishop& Stonier) England Victorian Wash Water Pitcher- Rose Floral- Marked on bottom with the Bisto symbol and Bisto England. And a number(what appears to be No. 58610) The number is worn and hard to read. This wonderful old Victorian pitcher. Made by Bisto(Bishop& Stonier) England, is in nice shape except for some hairline cracks at the bottom, which have been repaired. The pitcher seems quite secure from further breakage, as the repair was well done, but there is a slight pinkish discoloration around the cracks from the material that was used. This is fortunately at the base and also inside, where it is less noticeable. The pitcher is not water-tight, so could not be used to contain fresh flowers, but would be fine for displaying dried arrangements. There are some scuff marks on the ... morebase where the pitcher sat on a hard surface, but overall, this pitcher is in good antique condition. Pieces from Bishop& Stonier, a porcelain manufacturer from Staffordshire, England, generally date from the late 1800s into the early 1900s. This is a very striking looking large pitcher. Made from a heavy porcelain or ironstone, and is fairly heavy, weighing close to 4 Lbs without packaging. The pitcher measures 9 1/2" tall, 8" wide across the base, 9 1'2" from the end of the handle to end of pouring spout, and the top opening is 7" wide. There is no bowl.this auction is for the pitcher only. This pitcher will look outstanding with a Victorian, Cottage or Shabby Decor, and very beautiful holding an arrangement of tall dried flowers, such as hydrangeas. The colors of the rose and garland pattern is still very vibrant. And there is a sort of lacy effect heavy border that runs all around the top and on the spout. The handle has a pretty vine effect pattern in green, and a slender gold band runs up the length of the handle on both sides, and around the base of the pitcher. ANTIQUE ENGLISH PORCELAIN PITCHER WITH GOLD WASH TRIM AND FLORAL DESIGN
Charming antique porcelain pitcher in excellent condition. Beautiful and romantic for display or to use as vase for flowers. I think it is what is known as"transfer ware" with regard to the application of the design. There is gold wash trim applied at various points on the base. Handle, and rim. This has been in my family for at least fifty years and was part of my mother's collection of antiques. This listing is for a large Blue and White Floral Pattern Pitcher. The pattern is on both sides of the pitcher.both on the bowl and near the lip. It measures about 11" at its highest and about 9 1/14" at its widest including the handle. This pitcher is very clean inside and out. The coloring is a brilliant white and great shades of blue. I do not see any chips. Cracks, crazing or stains. Certainly in good age-appropriate condition. I saw when the basin was broken and rescued the pitcher before it got broken. This is a large matching porcelain wash pitcher and basin. The numbers 1185 are hand painted on the bottom of the pitcher and are the only markings on the set. The age is not known. The set was purchased around 1960 from an antique store. There are no chips on either piece b but you can see where the gold paint around the edge of the basin is wearing off. This is an excellent matching set including a wash pitcher and bowl with rich cobalt blue around the edge and bottom of the bowl and around the top. Bottom, and sides of the pitcher, and blue floral transferred images on the front and back of the pitcher. Both have ornate beaded floral details molded into the edges. They are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips, but there might be very light, faint crazing in spots and there is one tiny speck of glaze missing from the edge of the bowl(last photo) The pitcher measures 12" H x 9" from handle to spout, and the bowl measures 15 1/2" in diameter x 4 1/4" H. Vintage large Ironstone Pitcher and Wash Basin with floral design
Used. Bottom of pitcher and bowl shows some wear but other than that, the pitcher and bowl are in excellent condition. The blue flower on the pitcher is highly detailed as can be seen in the pictures. You can just picture this in a hotel room in the old west. There is a trademark on the bottom of the pitcher but the bottom of the washbasin is bare. This is a good collectors item, and would be a good conversational piece in any room in your house. This listing is for a vintage Sarreguemines wash basin and pitcher. The hallmark for the pitcher is from 1875- 1900. And the mark for the bowl is from 1925. The basin measures 16.5"x5.5" and the pitcher is 12.25" tall, 7.5" handle to spout, and 5" across the bottom. Both[pieces have crazing, but no cracks or chips. The pattern is so beautiful. Overall, very nice condition. Because of the package size, there is no international shipping. Shipping is based on 22lbs, packed weight.

VINTAGE BOCH LA LOUVIERE ART DECO PITCHER & WASH BOWL SET W/ACCESS ~BOLD FLORAL
Offered for auction is a vintage Boch La Louviere art deco pitcher and bowl set with accessories;the bowl and the two dishes are marked with the blue/black ink stamp.The pitcher is unmarked;the pattern is a bold floral with yellow,lime green lavender,maroon and black: I believe this is from the 1920's-1930's but not positive. The bowl measures 17 1/2" wide and 5" high(very heavy.just under 10#the pitcher measures 11" wide,spout to handle and is 12" tall,the long rectangular covered dish measures 3 3/4" x 9" x 2 3/4" with the handle and the smaller dish measures 3 3/4" x 5" x 2 3/4" high.For the most part this set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks,the minor flaws include 1) the lid of the larger accessory dish has a circular deep scratch 2) the smaller accessory dish ... morehas two glaze dings along the edge of the bottom piece 3) occasional light crazing 4) the only other issue is occasional differences in the black color(see pic) mostly on the pitcher. Lg. Antique O.P. Co. Floral Wash Basin Pitcher-Syracuse China-Onondaga Pottery
This is a very large. Antique pitcher or jug made by Onondaga Pottery Co. the same makers of Syracuse China. It is in very nice condition. There is a very faint spider crack in the glaze on the very bottom, but it does not go through to the inside. There is also some handling wear to the gold trim, but no other chips, cracks or crazing. Very clean and shiny. I believe this was the pitcher to a wash set, and probably had a matching bowl, chamber pot and other pieces. It is approx. 11 1/2in. tall.
