This is a very large antique Johnson Brothers Ironstone/Semi Porcelain Washbasin and Pitcher. The bowl measures 17 1/4 across and 4 1/2 inches high. The pitcher measures 9 inches across and 11 1/2 inches high. The tag on the bottom(as purchased) says circa 1890-1915. It is in very good antique condition with no cracks or chips on the pitcher and mild crazing consistent with age. The washbasin has no cracks but a tiny flea bite on the underside which is not visible from above. There are some scratches on the bottom of the bowl where the pitcher sits but again consistent with age. Considering this is around 100 years old it is in very good condition. Antique White Ironstone Wash Basin Chamber Pitcher Burgess& Campbell This is a wonderful. Rare all white toiletry or wash pitcher, manufactured during the 1903 to 1910 time frame, which stands 12 inches tall and is 8 inches in diameter at its widest part. The pitcher carries the back stamp of the Burgess& Campbell Company, which is a crown in a circular ring with the words, Royal China above the crown. Noted by both Edwin Barber's book, U.S. Marks on Pottery and Lois Lehner's volume, U.S. Marks on Pottery, Porcelain, And Clay, the Burgess and Cambell name, under the crown trademark, was replaced by the name, International when the company formed new business partnerships in 1903. The International Pottery Company was one of a large number of potteries formed in the Trenton area during the late 1800's that became known ... moreas the Staffordshire of America. In over-all marvelous condition for its 100+ years of age. There are no cracks, chips, or nicks. We do note that there is crazing to some areas and a yellowing/staining of the white porcelain, where over the years, minerals from the water have seeped through the porcelain. This staining on the pitcher is by the handle, at the top of the pour spout, and a small area below the pour spout. If you have been looking for a seldom found pitcher from a well-respected and old pottery. This piece will do marvelously well as a focal point for an Early Americana display with its classic Victorian style and embossed shell and scroll treatment. There is a line on the bottom that is noticeable. It runs about 4 inches long. I am not a professional so i cannot tell you exactly who. What or where except it has some age and has been very well taken care of. There is some natural occuring crazing on the Basin. This is a beautiful Victorian Johnson Brothers Royal Ironstone Pitcher that measures 11 1/4 inches tall. There is no crazing or cracks but one small chip but remember this has survived from the Victorian Era. Vintage large Ironstone Pitcher and Wash Basin with floral design
Used. Bottom of pitcher and bowl shows some wear but other than that, the pitcher and bowl are in excellent condition. The blue flower on the pitcher is highly detailed as can be seen in the pictures. You can just picture this in a hotel room in the old west. There is a trademark on the bottom of the pitcher but the bottom of the washbasin is bare. This is a good collectors item, and would be a good conversational piece in any room in your house. Antique 1890's Meakin Hanley White Ironstone Water Pitcher & Bowl/Wash Basin
Massive ANTIQUE c 1890's White Ironstone China Water Pitcher and Bowl/Basin by J& G Meakin Hanley England. In the 19th century. The firm was well known for its white granite(undecorated ironstone) ware in imitation of contemporary French porcelain. Pitcher measure 12 inches tall at spout and bowl is 14.5 inches wide and 5 inches tall. Pitcher: under spout? stained or dirt and 2 tiny stains on side. See pictures. Basin/Bowl: few tiny spots?dirt. Se pictures I have not tried to clean it. Leave it up to the buyer. There are no cracks or chips and considering its age back to c 1890 is in excellent condition. No reserve!

Antique Ironstone Wash Basin Chamber Pitcher Burgess & Campbell Trenton, NJ
This is a wonderful. Rare all white toiletry or wash pitcher, manufactured during the 1903 to 1910 time frame, which stands 12 inches tall and is 8 inches in diameter at its widest part. The pitcher carries the back stamp of the Burgess& Campbell Company, which is a crown in a circular ring with the words, Royal China above the crown. Noted by both Edwin Barber’s book, U.S. Marks on Pottery and Lois Lehner’s volume, U.S. Marks on Pottery, Porcelain, And Clay, the Burgess and Cambell name, under the crown trademark, was replaced by the name, International when the company formed new business partnerships in 1903. The International Pottery Company was one of a large number of potteries formed in the Trenton area during the late 1800’s that became known as the Staffordshire of America. In over-all marvelous condition for its 100+ years of ... moreage. There are no cracks, chips, or nicks. We do note that there is crazing to some areas and a yellowing/staining of the white porcelain, where over the years, minerals from the water have seeped through the porcelain. This staining on the pitcher is by the handle, at the top of the pour spout, and a small area below the pour spout. If you have been looking for a seldom found pitcher from a well-respected and old pottery. This piece will do marvelously well as a focal point for an Early Americana display with its classic Victorian style and embossed shell and scroll treatment. Vintage Ironstone Country Blue& White Pitcher& Wash Basin This is a beautiful vintage/antique Ironstone Pitcher and Wash Basin. Marked"Ironstone" with a star on the bottom of the pitcher. I cannot be sure if this set was made in England or in the USA, since I have seen similar sets from both places. This is a very large set: the Pitcher measures 11"h x 8.5"w(at widest part) and the Basin is 16" in diameter x 5"h Condition: Both pieces are in excellent condition! The basin has some light crazing due to it's age. But has no chips or cracks! Antique IRONSTONE England 1890 porcelain/ceramic Pitcher and Wash Basin "Gift"
This beautiful basin made in 1890 in England. By"Ironstone" is in very good condition, the paint is nice and not chipped. It is a charming cream color, trimmed in beige/tan and has a colorful floral design. Please see pictures as it has a minor flaw. Its a crack/scratch, its hard to tell its close to top of the pitcher and you see can see it but its not deep( doesn't go through to other side or anything) could be fine crack or a deep scratch.A minor flaw does not dismiss the elegance of this pitcher, it is a beautiful piece of art work. You can also see some greyish paint spots in the bowl. It is inside the bowl and painted in, it is under the glaze. This pitcher& basin are large measuring at 16" across basin.
