WADE Copper Lustreware Pitcher The makers mark dates this piece to the late 1940's. Measures approx. 5 1/2" tall at the top of the handle. There is a small 2mm long scratch to the surface as seen in the center of pic. 1. Very light crazing of the base when photographed under magnification. Antique 5 piece English Copper Lustreware Pitchers
5 Piece set of antique copper lustreware pitchers! They vary in size and condition. Probably mid 19th century} Please note each items specific description and see all pics. Pitcher#1- Is a beautiful example of art pottery. It measures 7"H x 7 5/8"W from the front of the spout to the back of the handle. The top opening is 3 1/2" W. It does have some minor scratches and one small chip on the inside of the top of the handle. The spout front has a great looking"Northwind" type face on the front. Pitcher#2- Is 6"H x 6 3/8"W from the front of the spout to the back of the handle. The top opening is 3"W. Unfortunately. This second largest pitcher does have 4 chips to the spout and 1 on the rim. There is also another small chip to the base but it can only be noticed when you turn it upside down. The spout has ... morethe same"Northwind"type face on the spout. Pitcher#3- Is a little different in decoration. It does not have the face on the front of the spout. And the handle design is different It does have normal wear but no cracks or chips that I can find. It stands 4 3/4"H x 5 5/8"W from the front of the spout to the back of the handle. The top opening is about 3. Pitcher#4- Has a different color decoration around the diameter. It is tan in color. see pics} The size is 4 1/8" H x 5" from the front of the spout to the back of the handle, and the opening is 2 1/2. There is a small"dent" like mark on one side. I can't tell if this is a flaw in the manufacturing, or if it happened over the years. But there is no loss of color. There are the normal signs of wear. Pitcher# 5- Is the smallest of the lot. It measures 4"H x 4 5/8"W from the front of the spout to the back of the handle. The opening on top is 2 1/2. It does show normal wear but there are no chips or cracks. It has the same handle style as# 3+4. And again. No"face" on the spout. The bottom of this piece is marked: Allertons London England. The bottoms of the other vases a

It is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or damage of any kind. 325.2] History of Creigiau Pottery Reg and Jean Southcliffe set up the Southcliffe Ceramic Company in Creigiau near Cardiff in Wales in 1947. Up for auction is a Cooper Lustreware Pitcher. Bowl, and cup. All have issues so check out the photos but selling as a lot and fairly inexpensive for something that's decorative anyway. Selling As Is. The Pitcher is 6.5" tall and approx. 5.5" at its widest point. Terracotta body. Chip on lip of spout. The Bowl is 5 5/8" across and approx. 1 1/4" deep. Ceramic body. Crack and staining. The Cup is 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" across at its widest point. The bottom was glued back on at some point in its life and that resulted in the 2 small holes seen in photo 10. Made in England this WADE Copper Lusterware small cream and sugar set is priceless! It was bought at an estate sale so little is known about it. The pictures tell all. The Sugar bowl is 1 34/ tall and 2 3/4" in diameter at the top. The Creamer is almost 3" tall and 1 3/4" in diameter at the top. There is some natural scuffing in the glaze and wear at the top of each piece. The are no chips. There is thin line crack as seen in picture#3 from the top of the creamer edge down about 1" These are 2 adorable little sugar and creamers made by WADE of England in the Harvest pattern. Estate sales(sometimes even yard sales) and from individuals looking to downsize. I keep some items for myself(we live in a 200 year old Colonial here in New Englan d) and I sell the rest. It's an incredibly enjoyable way to make a living and I love it! I price my items to sell as I am not a collector and I am not trying to make a killing- just trying to make a living. I know a little about a lot ... moreof different things and a lot about very few things. Each time I list an unfamiliar item I do a bit of homework and I develop a listing price. W ithout wasting a whole lot of time I get the item in the store on eBay. Many items I offer have a"make an offer" option on them as I am open to reasonable and serious offers on most everything I have in the store. Thus far all buyers of everything I have offered have been pleased with their experience here and their purchases from me.
