It was a recent estate sale purchase from an avid Chamber Set collector in Central Pennsylvania and is fresh to market. The set is in Good condition. Especially for its age. The small pitcher has a firing line separation in the upper. Inside part of the handle(photo 9) that does not go all the way through and was done in the manufacturing process. The pitcher has a very small firing line in its spout(see photo 10) The bowl has on its inside two faint hairlines(photo 11& 12) and a small faint spot of discoloration, none of which go through or can be seen from the outside. There are no chips in any of the pieces. The set has crazing as is expected from porcelain of this era and it adds character and authenticity. Each piece has the FW& Co. backstamp used by F. Winkle of England and a separate registration number. Which dates them to 1896. Please check my feedback and buy with confidence. Also check my other auctions. I am selling many other Pitcher and Wash Bowl Chamber sets. I only ship within the contiguous US and only accept PayPal. Because of the size of this set. Both pieces have threaded rims. The candle holder has a raised ribbed design around the outside. The handle of the snuffer was made to fit into a small insert on the chamberstick handle. The handle of the chamberstick has a flat thumb-rest. This piece is made in the style of the times. The original bobeche has been lost and replaced with a later English silverplate bobeche with matching decorations. The underside of the chamberstick and the snuffer are both marked with a duty mark of King George IIIs head. The lion passant for sterling silver and a date letter G for the year 1802. The chamberstick is also marked with the crowned leopards head for London and a makers mark for Robert Sharp. The silverplate bobeche is marked on its underside with Dismond and Liverpool. This piece is in excellent overall condition. Especially for its age. There is some surface wear and some very small, pencil tip sized dings but they are only really visible when you are inspecting the piece. There are no major dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs. The chamber stick measures 5 5/8 inches in diameter. Is 3 3/4 inches tall and with the snuffer the whole piece weighs 306 grams or 10.8 ounces. This weight does not include the weight of the silverplate bobeche. Good luck and bid with confidence. The bowl is especially lovely with its raised design and gentle shading. It is hallmarked"RS Prussia" on the bottom of the pitcher, there is no hallmark on the bowl. Both the large bowl and the pitcher are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Just a small bit of crazing. The pitcher measures about 11" high. The bowl is 16" in diameter x 4-1/2" high. Antique 4 Piece Set Buffalo Pottery Chamber Wash Bowl Set "Cairo" 1905-1916
Buffalo Pottery Set I am proud to present a beautiful antique Chamber set consisting of a wash bowl. Large pitcher, small pitcher, and what I beleive may be a soap bowl. The pattern is"Cairo" with lovely Old World roses and was manufactured from 1905 to 1916. On the underneath side of each piece states that the item is Buffalo Pottery and has the Buffalo symbol. See picture of stamp. The set has no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. There is typical crazing present in all 4 pieces, with the wash bowl having the most crazing. The other three pieces display without seeing crazing except upon close examination. There is some gold trim loss to the wash bowl and large pitcher. The smaller pitcher has most of its gold trim. The soap dish has two bubble pops in the center of bowl. Please use my pictures to augment my desription. Rarely ... morewill you find this 100 years old chamber set in this great condition. This auction is for a Lovely 3-Piece Victorian Porcelain Chamber Set which consists of two differently sized matching pitchers and a covered soap dish. The set Displays Wonderfully together. I am not certain of the maker. Origin or the exact age. The small pitcher has a smudged backstamp that appears to resemble a fleur de lis. There are no other markings. I believe they date to the late 1800s to early 1900s and likely are French porcelain. They are beautiful pieces. Whatever their birthright. They are molded or embossed with Victorian Scroll detailing in very white porcelain and sharp gold accent lines. The large pitcher measures 11 3/4 inches tall; the matching smaller pitcher measures 7 1/4 inches tall; and the soap dish is 5 1/2 inches across. MUST SEE Art Nouveau Deco Wilkinson Staffordshire Chamber Set Wash Basin Pitcher POPPIES Pre Cliff click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Description Simply spectacular c. 1900-1925 Wilkinson Royal Staffordshire very large wash bash basin and pitcher with stylized poppies. Marked as shown in photos on base with the Wilkinson crown mark used post 1896 and before the switch to the the Clarice Cliff marks in the late 1920s. The design outline is transfer and then they are beautifully hand painted. The Basin measures about 16 1/4" in diameter and about 5 1/2" tall. CONDITION: Fine crazing throughout. Minor irregularities along the top rim. A small blemish near the bottom as shown in photo. The Pitcher measures about 12" tall and about 9" wide with handle. CONDITION: Some light very hard to see crazing; can see it ... moreon underside of base. There is a tiny nick in the body with a very faint hairline(about 1" or so on exterior) You can see it more on the inside. All in all. In fine shape. None of these very minor issues affects the appearance of the piece. It presents beautifully in real life! PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS BELOW. There was a gradually transition at Wilkinson from the more traditional Victorian motifs of the late 1900s to the bold Art Deco designs of Clarice Cliff of the 1930s. It is interesting to note that Clarice Cliff came to Wilkinson in 1916 when she was only 17 years old. Her interesting drawings brought her to the attention of the owner of Wilkinson and he let her experiment on some old stock blanks. By 1927. She was off studying in London and Paris. She then returned to Wilkinson and by 1929, her designs went into full production and the Wilkinson marks were changed to include her name. Some of her designs, like Firs, are known for their'stylized glimpses of the natural world' These poppies, with their deco style stems, are likely a precursor of the designs to come. Striking Antique Pitcher & Wash Bowl Chamber Set Imari Colors Floral Leaf Design
This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Wash Bowl Chamber Set made of Semi Porcelain. It is Beautifully Decorated in a Floral. Leaf and Fern Pattern in a Brilliant Imari Palette of colors- Cobalt Blue and Iron Red- all highlighted and outlined in gold accents against a Semi-Porcelain background with molded flourishes. The bowl and the pitcher are each marked with handwritten number in gold- 934. The bowl as an impressed mark as well. I believe it reads 12 over 19. I am not certain of the maker or the exact age of the set. But from the form and the feel and the decorations. I am pretty certain they date to the mid to late 1800s and likely were made in the Staffordshire region of England. The Pitcher stands about 11 inches tall. It has a small glaze bubble pop(see photo 9) in the bottom foot. The colors and the images are crisp and ... morebright. There is fine. Even crazing throughout which only adds to the character and authenticity. The bowl measures 15 3/4 inches across. There is fine. Antique Chalfonte Bavarian Chamber Set
Beautiful old chamber set. Almost complete(missing the chamber pot) from the turn of the last century. This is a lovely, elegant set in white porcelain with gold trim. All pieces are in wonderful condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing to the glaze on the pieces, but this is appropriate for their age. I see some discoloration to the glaze in a few isolated spots, but it is minimal. The gold trim is also in great shape. I see no significant wear or fading anywhere. This is a well-preserved set, in a very classy design!

The Chamber pot itself measures over 12” high X 10 1/2” diameter and the pitcher(11” high) and bowl(14” X 18” measure up in size as well. This flow blue six piece ironstone wash basin set in the Florida pattern was made by Doulton Burslem in England. The back stamp indicates it dates to 1891-1902. The set includes a very large pitcher and basin. Two chamber pots, a tall mug, and a section of a soap dish. The photos are arranged to show the items in that order. The set is in various conditions. The large basin has been beautifully restored after being broken in a number of places. Observe in photo#4 a yellowing color which shows where repairs were made in the early 70’s; the surface, however, remains smooth and shows no cracks. This pottery was made by Wheeling Pottery Co. Wheeling, West Virginia, between the years of its operations from 1879 to 1909. PITCHER: The pitcher is in exceptionally good condition for its age. There are no chips or cracks. There is age-related crazing all over. As would be expected of an item this old. The crazing is not visible from a distance. The color of the porcelain china is still very good with little or no fading. The LaBelle China mark is on the bottom. The pitcher is about 11-12 inches high and 9 inches wide. BOWL: The bowl is in good condition for its age. There are no chips or cracks on the inside surface of the bowl. There are no cracks on the outside ... moresurface. There are 3 very small chips/ dents on the outside that may be manufacturing defects. There is age-related crazing all over. As would be expected of an item this old. There are several areas of discoloration near the rim. Some of these brown streaks extend vertically from the rim toward the bottom in the inside of the bowl. The LaBelle China mark is on the bottom. Very old hard to find 8 piece chamber set. not counting lids) Absolutely gorgeous set. Soft white with gold edges. Some condition issues on a few pieces. The lid to the chamber pot has a large crack across it which appears to have been repaired at some point, several other hairline cracks on other pieces, crazing on all pieces, one small hole in one of the small pitchers, and a small chip off base of one of the other small pieces, but these are from the 1880-1890 era, so some condition issues would be expected. See marks in pics, only a few of the pieces have the mark on the bottom. Large Early Wash Bowl and Pitcher Chamber Set Ironstone Ceramic Purple Florals
Offered is an early wash bowl or basin with matching pitcher. The chamber set is in very good condition with no chips. Cracks, crazing, stains, or damage. The overall glaze is white with accent bouquets of purple, lavender, and white florals. There is both light and dark green foliage. There is a raised embossed design along the outer edges of both pieces. The set is unmarked but there appears to be a raised impression on the bottom of the pitcher that I cannot make it out. The bowl and pitcher as a set measure 13" tall. The pitcher alone measures 12.5 tall. The bowl measures 4" deep and 15 3/4" across. Shipping. Antique 3 Pc Bath Chamber Set Basin Pitcher Commode Large Orchid England M L Co
Very impressive Victorian 3 piece matching chamber set. You get the pitcher. Basin and 3 piece slop-jar or commode. Made by Moore Leason& Co. around the 1890's in England. Beautiful pattern called'Orchid' in a baby pink and fades into a pinkish brown. The transfer print is the pinkish brown color, and the set has gold accents. There's also hand painted, raised white dots on the flowers. These pieces are on the larger side. The pitcher is 11 1/2" high, the wash basin is 15 1/2" in diameter and 5 1/2" high and the commode is 13" in diameter(counting the lug handles) and 13" high. The pitcher has been broken and repaired on one side- see pic 2. It's a bad break, but the fix is pretty stable. The break is on the back of the pitcher(the front only has the hand painted raised, white dot accents) ... moreThe basin is in excellent condition, just one small surface ding on the side(about 1/4" round) and it looks like it's been painted. The commode is really cool! It's made up of the lid, small basin piece with center knob and openings under knob, and then the container itself. The lids of both pieces have pretty gold knobs/finials and the commode part has big gold lugs with a ray or wheel design. The middle piece to the commode has a hairline crack that runs all the way from the edge to the middle opening, but as with the repair on the pitcher, it seems quite stable. They are all marked England M. L. Co. Orchid. Super hard to find a set like this, and would be a beautiful addition to a collection, or for use in your bathroom. Please email me with any?s. Smith Phillips 7 piece Chamber Set- Very Rare This beautiful Victorian 7 piece semi-porcelain chamber set in the Empress pattern has survived for a hundred years in wonderful condition. Th Empress pattern itself is very rare and hard to find. This set has been in my client's family with known possession through at least four generations. The Smith-Phillips China Co. was formed and operated by Josiah T. Smith& W. H. Phillips in E. Liverpool. Ohio from 1901 to 1931 when it became a victim of the Great Depression. This auction is for a Lovely 7-Piece Antique Victorian Ironstone Chamber Set made by Johnson Brothers of England. The set consists of a Large Pitcher. Wash Bowl, Smaller Pitcher, Cup, Toothbrush Holder, Covered Chamber Pot and Soap Dish with insert. The set is hand colored in a soft pastel blue with gold sponge applied accents. The set Displays Wonderfully. And with this many pieces it will become the decorative focal point of any room. The set is in Very Good Condition. Especially for its age, which dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. There are no chips or cracks or damage in the two pitchers. Antique hand painted eight piece chamber set made by Mercer Pottery circa 1905. The set includes: A slop pot with lid(14 1/2" high x 11 1/2" wide) No chips. Cracks. A wash basin and pitcher(17" wide x 4 1/2" high; 13" high x 10" wide. Respectively) No chips or cracks. A chamber pot with lid(8 1/2" high x 10 1/2" wide) Crack in handle made at manufacture. Large chunk of lid rim missing. 3" x 1" A vanity pitcher(8 1/2" high x 6 1/2" wide) Several long cracks running through the body. An oval section has been broken out and repaired. Can hear the item is cracked when setting it down. A soap dish with lid(3 3/4" high x 5" wide) A 2" x 1" piece has broken from the dish and been repaired. A shaving mug(4" high x 5" wide) A 2" crack from lip downward leaving ... morea small piece missing on rim. A tooth brush holder(5 3/4" high x 4" wide) A 3/4" x 1/4" surface rim chip. Very shapely mold with high curved handles. Scalloped rims and fluted body shapes. Molded scrolls and fretwork in the bodies. Handpainted front, back and inside the rims of the pitchers with blue poppies and pink daisies. Gold scroll work and sprayed daubs on the borders and handles. This would have been a high end set. There is some crazing in addition to the condition issues listed above. Most pieces marked with a crown and shield and Mercer Semi Vitreous in brown. The mark used by the Mercer Pottery out of New Jersey between 1902 and 1930s.

Antique Victorian Bowl &Pitcher Burgundy Chamber Set with Grecian Border Design
This is a lovely Antique Victorian 6 Piece Chamber Set which is Burgundy with a gold Grecian Border. It consists of a large bowl measuring 15 inches round by 5.5 inches tall and a large pitcher measuring 14.5 inches tall with an 8.5" x 1" handle. It is 7 inches in diameter at the widest point with a 5.5 inch round base. There is also a smaller picture which is 8 inches tall with a 5.5 inch span from the handle to spout and 3.25 inch base. It is 4.5 inches in diameter at the widest point. In addition there is a 3 piece soap dish with the original drain piece there is also a covered comb dish measuring 8.5" x 3" A small handled cup does have some repair as seen in the picture it is 4.5 inches tall with a 3.5 inch rim and 2 inch base.
