Condition– I am no pro and cannot grade this set. With that said I found; uniform crazing on both items(very pretty) no chips. No cracks. No previous repairs– simply wonderful! Makers Mark– Pitcher is not marked. The bowl is stamped with a name I cannot decipher(part of it looks like Cal? I really cannot tell) The number“1108” and“USA” This is ... moreone of many quality items from the same estate.This estate contained many items verified(some even documented) from the late1800’s thru the late 1930’s– some earlier. Some later, but predominantly within this time frame. I am not an expert and do not know the age of this wonderful set. Guessing from the style of the set. Rare Antique 1890's Pitcher Empire Trenton NJ
This is a very beautiful antique porcelain water pitcher circa 1890 made by Empire Trenton. NJ. This 11" tall 9" wide piece features the June Rose pattern. This 100 year+ pitcher is amazingly chip free, however along with generalized crazing, there are several small hairline cracks in the glaze near the rim(they do not penetrate) and what appears to be a water line discoloration on the bottom half of the pitcher. This pitcher full of fresh daisies makes a gorgeous summer centerpiece, or in it's original function in a bedroom as a washing accessory it's perfect. US shipping.

Up for auction is a beautiful vintage wash basin and pitcher set. Both are in great vintage condition and marked Ironstone 1890 ENGLAND. No scratches. No chips, no cracks.There are 3 tiny pit marks on under lip of basin seem to be evenly spaced apart,thinking it has to do with the way it was made. There is a line on the bottom that is noticeable. It runs about 4 inches long. J&G Meakin Ironstone Water Pitcher - Block Optic - Hanley England - circa 1890
J&G Meakin"Block Optic" Ironstone pottery was produced by the Meakin Brothers both in plain white as well as with copper luster decoration. Offered is a huge white ironstone pitcher that epitomizes the tendency of that period toward squared. Angular shapes. Measuring a very generous 12" high(at tip of thumbrest) and with the distance between the spout and the handle being 9 1/2" the pitcher has a squared. Eight-panelled body with a pronounced waist that tapers gently as it moves up toward the slightly scalloped rim. Below the scalloping a narrow band in relief accentuates the neck's perimeter. Appropriately marked on the underside of the base with the pottery's signature in underglaze black print this pitcher was made by J. G. Meakin in their works at Hanley. Staffordshire some time between 1890 and 1914 Exact ... moredating is difficult as the Meakins did not register their shapes. Condition on the pitcher is excellent. For its large size. This pitcher has a very delicate and classy look. The glaze is in excellent shape, very shiny and translucent with a slight blueish tinge to it and no crazing. The white of the ironstone body is crisp and bright, unmarred by stains or other discolorations. As you can see in the pictures. This is a truly eye-catching piece of ironstone.

This is an original large antique wash basin and pitcher made by J& E Mayer. The makers mark was used from 1800's to 1912. It is semi vitreous and the colors are still beautifully vibrant. The basin measures approx. 15-1/2" in diameter and 4-1/2" tall. The pitcher measures approx. 12" tall and 10" from handle to spout. It has antique crazing, also has a few hairline cracks and a chip on the bottom of the basin, which are shown in pictures. The one in the pitcher does not go all the way through, cannot be seen on the outside. The colors are light blue, green, purple and yellow. It is an absolutely beautiful display piece. 1890 Ironstone Antique Blue and White Faded Pitcher and Basin
1890 antique England antique pitcher. The pitcher has a few chips on it. There are 3 very small chips on the rim of the pitcher. You might be able to see the white specks in the photos. The biggest chip is in the side of the pitcher. You can check that chip out in the pictures as well. It's not too big, some paint might do the trick. The basin has no chips or cracks, but it has some pain spilled in it. You can see the white in the photos, that's the paint. Overall it's not too bad.

Here we have a beautiful. Functional antique water pitcher from the 1890s. It is in great shape showing appropriate wear from use over the years. The gold work is beautiful and it has flowers painted on around the sides. It has a craze line from the top down a couple of inches near the handle, but it is fully functional and holds water just fine. I could not get this to show in the photos. A beautiful Wheat Design. This set matches. Even the basin has wheat decoration around its rim. The Straight razor dish could also be used for soap, and often was. It is stamped( Imperial Ironstone China) and made by Robert Cochran& Co. of Glasgow Scotland. It measures 8 1/2 inches. The Pitcher(Royal Ironstone China) is 12 1/2 inches high and is made by W&E Corn of England. The basin is 14 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches high. It is made by Baker& Co Ltd. of England. It has Pearl White written over the crest. All pieces are in excellent condition. In addition I am including a 1890 edition of the Hymn Book"The Finest of the Wheat" A very apropos item to be displayed with this set. 415 pages that shows a lot of use through the years.

A beautiful antique Royal Worcester hand-painted floral porcelain pitcher/ewer. C51marking inside the Royal Worcester crest with the letter"a" below the crown indicating 1890 year of manufacture. Registration no. 74149. Style/Shape no. 1229. Numerous other additional markings- see photographs. 7" high. 3 1/8" diameter of base. It is a rare piece; I could not find the same one online. All of the other ones that are similar all have a design on the pitcher. But this one is plain.The curves of the pitcher and the markings on both the wash basin and pitcher are elegant and unique. This is a beautiful piece for decorating, such as putting flowers in. STUNNING LARGE Antique WASHBOWL SET- ironstone bowl and pitcher set 1890 VGUC
This is an extremely beautiful antique washbowl and pitcher from 1890 in England. This beautiful set stands approx 13" tall. The washbowl is approx 16" across the top and 4" deep. The pitcher probably would hold a little more than a gallon of water. I do not see any chips. Cracks, or damage. This is glazed with shadows of drown glaze on off white cor. The flowers are maroon and shades of white with olive green leaves.the bottom is marked 1890 ironstone england on both pieces.they will be packed with extreme care.

Beautiful Vintage Beige or Tan pitcher and wash basin from Ironstone 1890 made in England with a rose floral design in mauve or rose and green. It has a slight mar in the glaze near the top edge of the pitcher. The underside of the basin has a couple nicks from wear it rested in the basin stand. Up for auction is a Antique Blue and White Ironstone 1890 England Pitcher& Wash Basin Bowl Ceramic/Porcelain. Item in great shape for it's age. Blue and white with an ornate floral pattern on pitcher. Looks to be hand painted. Has a few small chips, but nothing really major, very beautiful pieces for their age! Please see pictures to get a better overall idea of item condition. Bowl measures 15 3/4" across the top and 4 1/2" tall and the picture is across and about 5" tall. Pitcher is 11" tall and 8 1/2" wide from handle to pour spout The basin bowl has three small chips on the edge/lip of the rim and some crazing inside the bowl and the picture has one small chip in the scroll work. Very pretty old EAST PALESTINE POTTERY CO EPPCO 1890-1905 DE SOTO PITCHER. Very good condition for its age. The gold trim has faded out some on the rim and handle and there is some small stain spots in the bottom of the pitcher. Photos accurately depict the condition of the item.

Outstanding and quite rare. Ca1890's, Cobalt Blue decorated, Gray Salt Glazed Stoneware Beer Pitcher with a molded relief roses by N. A. White& Son of Utica, New York(Whites Utica) This fantastic. 1 liter, blue decorated Gray Salt Glazed Stoneware Pitcher measures approx. 6 3/4” tall and 4 3/4” in diameter at the center of its bulbous form. The surface in intricately decorated with a tree bark form surface with a raised image of a rose and associated leaves on each side. The raised images are decorated in a deep dark cobalt blue and there is also some additional cobalt blue striping to the handle and front of the Pitcher. We have found numerous references that identify this Pitcher as having been manufactured by Whites Utica but it is unmarked and we can not be 100% certain. This wonderful. 19th century, Cobalt Blue decorated, Gray ... moreSalt Glaze Stoneware Pitcher is in very good condition. The surface is generally clean and crisp and well preserved and the surface molding is strong and crisp. There are no chips, no cracks, no significant damage and no repairs of any kind. There is some browning to the glaze on the bottom and the lower portion of one side of the Pitcher that was caused during the firing process of manufacture. As with all examples of this type of molded decoration, salt glaze Pitchers that we have handled over the past 34+ years, there are some tiny spots of glaze skipping to the cobalt blue surface but overall this Pitcher is well preserved and displays beautifully. Please see the scans below for a good indication of the form and condition of this Beautiful Cobalt Blue decorated, Gray Salt Glaze Pitcher. Again we must stress that this is NOT a later reproduction. Reissue or counterfeit example but an original, ca1880's Cobalt Blue decorated, Gray Salt Glazed Stoneware Pitcher and a fantastic addition to any collection!
