Antique Haynes Chesapeake Pottery CASTILIAN Waste Jar and Toothbrush Holder 1891
Offered for your consideration is this Beautiful Waste/ Slop Jar in the Castilian pattern. Also included a Tooth Brush Holder or Pitcher. This set displays wonderfully and can be shown together or each piece separately. The pieces were produced by Haynes. Bennett Co. Chesapeake Pottery, Baltimore MD. Dates 1881- 1883. This set is beautifully well made and has a very distinct shape and pattern. The designs and coloring is still vivid and bright. Each piece has a creamy yellow matt finished body and a highly glazed embossed white top and bottom. The wast jar has white glazed, unusual shaped handles, and the lid has the white rim and handle. All the white glazed areas are also accented with gilt. Some of the gilt is worn on the handles and around the rims. The inside rim of the waste jar has three chips(see photo# that will not be seen when ... morethe lid is in place. The lid has one large chip 1/2" by 1/3" on the outside(see photo# that can be seen and other chips on the inside that will not be seen. The small jar has crazing on the inside with some discoloration in the crazing. The large waste jar measures 12" tall without the lid and 15" tall with the lid. It has a 12" diameter middle and 14" from widest part of handle to handle. The small jar holder is 6" tall and about 5" in diameter. The bottoms are not marked but with research of old magazine ads I can clearly state this set is by Haynes- Bennett. The set is in great condition considering it is about 130 years old. This set will instantly become the focal point of any room's decor. Please be aware my photos are considered part of the listing description and are based on my own knowledge. 19th C Antique Haynes Ware of Baltimore Floral'TOULON' Pitcher and Wash Bowl. The embossed yellow flowers appear to be dogwoods on ivory color background. The spout is an old man with a long beard and a lion head for a handle. The bowl has three unique floral designs and the pitcher with two unique designs on opposite sides. Three staggered'wash stand insert forms' molded into wash bowl. See pic. Pitcher measures approx. 10 1/2" high to top of spout x 10" wide between handle and front. Bowl measures approx. 5" high x 15" diameter across the top. In very good condition. No chips. Cracks or repairs with minor gilding loss. Pitcher with crazing and normal pottery blemishes. HAYNES WARE Antique CIDER PITCHER(Arabian Motif.No538) we have a beautiful antique hand painted porcelain CIDER PITCHER(or Jug) depicting an Arabian motif decoration(No 538) by HAYNES WARE(D.F.Haynes& Co. Which measures 7" tall, about 9.25" long. The opening is 4.25" the base is 5.5" holds up to 2 quarts. There is one chip and crack; refer to pictures. The item does have overall crazing throughout. Antique Corsican Haynes Paisley Pitcher & Bowl with Grotesque
The pitcher measures about 12" tall. And the bowl measures around 4½" x 16" The pitcher and bowl weigh together 11.5 pounds. There is an age crack on the bottom of the pitcher plus crazing. The bowl has two cracks on the side. There is also some wear on the paint. Note: The damaged chamber pot is shown only because it is the only piece that has the maker's stamp on. If you want to pay for the extra shipping. You are welcome to have it. However, it weighs 8 pounds unpacked, so the shipping won't be cheap. The photos are an important part of the description. Antique Haynes Balt Porcelain Art Nouveau Iris Milk Cream Pitcher Marked 20 MB
This is a beautifully colored and styled antique milk pitcher with red irises and green leaves all the way around. The colors are bold and the pattern is in a wonderful art nouveau style. The condition is very good. But there are a couple spots of light crazing in the glaze(on the bottom surface by the markings, visible in the photos and a couple spots on the inside, none of which go through the porcelain) and there is a tiny flake on the top edge of the spout. There is also a small splash of what looks like paint or extra glaze on the side, and a few small scuffs in the glaze, all shown in the photos. It measures 8" H at the handle and 9" across the top from spout to handle. It will be packed securely and insured during shipping.

Antique Rare Haynes Ware Woodland Pitcher#448. Produced by D. F. Haynes and Son or possibly Chesapeake Pottery. Possibly from the late 1800's although I am not sure of its age. Bottom reads: Haynes Ware Woodland No. 448 and there is also a number 5 stamped on the bottom. Illustration shows a forest scene with deer. The rim of this pitcher is trimmed in gold. This pitcher measures about 8" tall. It has no cracks. Chips or repairs. The inside and bottom does have some crazing. May be considered to be Majolica wares which were introduced to the public at the Great Exhibition in London in 1851. European manufacturers of majolica wares include Minton. Wedgwood, Holdcroft and George Jones. Two of the most recognized American names are Griffin, Smith and Hill, Etruscan) and Chesapeake Pottery. Antique Old Rare Haynes Balt Corsican 3 PC Pitcher Pottery Porcelain
Estate sale item. These 3 beautiful Victorian style vases Circa 1880-1890 are decorated with pink flowers and colorful leaves on a white base. The set of elegant pitchers have gold trimming on the top and handles. They range is size from nearly 11 inches down to 4 1/2 inches. The 7" piece is marked on the bottom in black with: Haynes Balt. stamp. Dec. and the pattern name of"Corsican" The two other pieces are not marked. The two smaller pieces both have a small amount of damage- see photos for condition. The larger piece does not appear to have any damage. All 3 pieces have wear on the gilding. Crazing in the glaze and some discoloration from age. I will be happy to answer questions or provide more photos if needed.
