CONDITION: Exceptionally good! Extraordinary! Entirely intact except for a the normal potting blemishes associated with crude hand production; and assorted minor bumps and bruises consistent with wear due to ancient usage and then burial since ancient times. All quite normal for a 2.000 year old vase. DETAIL: A splendid. Exceptionally well preserved large sized earthenware jar from the Han Dynasty of Ancient China. The jar is the size of a very large melon– almost the size of a soccer ball. Listed is a very nice Antique Pitcher. Made by the Labelle China Co/Wheeling Pottery between 1879-1910. It measures a little over 7" tall and the wide center measures about 5-1/4" wide. About 6-1/2" long from handle end to spout end. It is in very good condition for its age. It does have crazing throughout. Only one small chip near the rim as shown in photo. Up for sale is this vintage Wheeling Pottery Co. Green splatter paint Labelle style pitcher. It measures approximately 7" tall, and 5" wide at the top. I cannot find any chips or cracks, it does ha ve crazing. Particularly on the bottom. I don't know what to make of the several paint"pits" see up close) but seem to be original to the piece. Fine China Floral Decorated Pitcher, Warwick Pottery, Wheeling W. VA 1887-1951
Here is a lovely Warwick China Co. jug shaped pitcher. The Warwick Company operated in Wheeling. West Virginia from 1887 until 1951. The background is a golden yellow shading to dark brown. The floral decoration is different on the sides. Front and even on the white area inside the lip. The condition is fine with no damage. It stands 7” tall and from spout to handle measures approx. 9” across. Marked on the base Warwick China as shown in the photo. Check our feedback for quality. Super packing and service. Antique Wheeling Pottery Labelle China - Chamber Pitcher & Basin Bowl -
Up for sale is an antique Wheeling Pottery Labelle China chamber pitcher and wash basin. I'd like to start off by saying that I am in no way a pro at pottery or ceramic things. I will try to answer any questions you have about this. I know that condition means a lot with this type of stuff so I tried to display the defects. The pitcher has a chip around the top rim which is shown in a picture and the basin has a few spots. I don't know if they are dings or if they are imperfections in the way it was made. Overall the colors are bright and this piece displays very nicely. I like offers so feel free to make me any offer you'd like. I only ship within the United States and I only accept PayPal. Antique La Belle China Chamber Pitcher and Basin Bowl Set Wheeling Pottery This listing is for matching Pitcher and Bowl set with a beautiful floral design. Marked as LaBelle China. This pottery was made by Wheeling Pottery Co. Wheeling, West Virginia, between the years of its operations from 1879 to 1909. PITCHER: The pitcher is in exceptionally good condition for its age. There are no chips or cracks. There is age-related crazing all over. As would be expected of an item this old. The crazing is not visible from a distance. The color of the porcelain china is still very good with little or no fading. The LaBelle China mark is on the bottom. The pitcher is about 11-12 inches high and 9 inches wide. BOWL: The bowl is in good condition for its age. There are no chips or cracks on the inside surface of the bowl. There are no cracks on the outside ... moresurface. There are 3 very small chips/ dents on the outside that may be manufacturing defects. There is age-related crazing all over. As would be expected of an item this old. There are several areas of discoloration near the rim. Some of these brown streaks extend vertically from the rim toward the bottom in the inside of the bowl. The LaBelle China mark is on the bottom. The bowl is about 15 inches in diameter and 5 inches high. Please view the photos carefully for condition. The pitcher and bowl are being sold in as is condition. Local pickup in the Iowa City/ Coralville. Iowa area will save considerable expense by not having to ship these pieces. If you would like to have the pieces mailed to you. VINTAGE WHITE IRONSTONE WATER PITCHER EARLY 1900'S WHEELING POTTERY COMPANY
Here is a white ironstone pitcher that measures 13 inches tall and is marked with the Wheeling Pottery Company ink mark from the late 1800's to the early 1900's on the bottom. It is free of chips.
