The Ewer/Pitcher is marked Dresden SEMI-PORCELAIN and the basin is not marked. I do not believe that this is an original pair but both are actually old. The pitcher has embossed designs in the middle part and by the top. See images. It has a muted bouquet of flowers that I cannot determine. The pitcher also has some crazing but no cracks that I can see. There's also a muted bouquet inside the snout. The basin looks like it was used and there are some water marks inside the basin. It is also embossed on top and it is not marked. The floral design cloub be cherry blossom. I cannot determine if the florals on both pieces are decals of handpainted since they are both muted. The basin also has cracks inside, by the lip and outside(I found 2) but its not a cvrack the goes through the ceramic. The basin is a very thick ceramic almost like an Ironstone piece. It measures 17" in diameter and about 5.25" high. The Pitcher measures 11.875" High, 10" by 8.5" NOTE: If you purchase this item. Please wait for my invoice since I will need to add the insurance(they do not automatically calculate) This is a very heavy item, an oversized package and will need to be double boxed. Antique Doulton Burslem Pitcher and Wash Basin

Beautiful Antique Doulton Burslem English Porcelain Pitcher and Wash Basin(Pre-Royal-Daulton 1891 to 1901) The'England' under this mark was used 1886 to mark the appointment of Doulton as potters to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales(became King Edward VII following the death of Queen Victoria in 1901) This gorgeous set makes a spectacular dispaly as a center-piece or on a wood wash-basin stand. Minor spider-cracks on the bottom of the pitcher. The elegant lady of this estate even placed 4 small pieces of foam under the pitcher to protect it. Antique Victorian Huge English Wash Bowl Water Pitcher Aesthetic Blue Transferware HARVEST by Della Robbia Lovely and large water pitcher made by a not so well known North Staffordshire potter called Della Robbia Co. They were only in existence from 1894 until 1901. Located in Birkenhead. The pattern name"HARVEST" is printed on the bottom of the pitcher. The center swatch is indeed that of some workers in the field with flowers and stems projecting through it and around it. On the back side of the pitcher, the scene is repeated but in a smaller size. Between the two scenes there is a small sprig of flowers and leaves. This pitcher has a segmented melon shaped body. Scalloped top and rope handle. The pitcher measures 11-1/2" tall and about 8" wide(across the widest part of the body) This is the size you would find with ... morea wash basin bowl! Would look so nice in a cottage decor or at a bed and breakfast. The pitcher is in excellent condition! If I didn't know its age and only looked at its condition. I would think it was nearly new! There are no chips or cracks or crazing. The only very minor thing I see are some light grayish marks along the rope handle which appear to have been done in manufacturing, perhaps thinner paint coverage. Also, a few craze lines on the bottom exterior of the pitcher and a few inside the pitcher, only on the surface. The pitcher is immaculately clean, inside and out. The glaze is nice and shiny. A true beauty!

I was told these old wash basins were seldom marked because they were considered utilitarian. The one I found on Ebay that looked almost identical was described as an antique. 1800’s. I really don’t know how old it is or anything about it. But will describe it as best I can. It came from an estate. The bowl measures 16 ½”across and 5” tall. The pitcher is ~13” tall and ~10” wide. It appears to be hand painted with yellow roses and green leaves. It has a“separation”crack on the bottom of the bowl. It appears to be a flaw in manufacture. England during the early to mid 1800s. The wash bowl and pitcher have large floral sprays with a printed geometric and floral background in brown transfer print. I do not know the exact name or manufacturer of this set, but it reminds of the patterns Minton produced in the early 1800s. Neither piece is marked. The bowl is scalloped and measures approximately 13" in diameter and stands about 4 1/2" tall. Rare all white toiletry or wash pitcher, manufactured during the 1903 to 1910 time frame, which stands 12 inches tall and is 8 inches in diameter at its widest part. The pitcher carries the back stamp of the Burgess& Campbell Company, which is a crown in a circular ring with the words, Royal China above the crown. Noted by both Edwin Barber's book, U.S. Marks on Pottery and Lois Lehner's volume, U.S. Marks on Pottery, Porcelain, And Clay, the Burgess and Cambell name, under the crown trademark, was replaced by the name, International when the company formed new business partnerships in 1903. The International Pottery Company was one of a large number of potteries formed in the Trenton area during the late 1800's that became known ... moreas the Staffordshire of America. In over-all marvelous condition for its 100+ years of age. There are no cracks, chips, or nicks. Striking Antique Pitcher & Wash Bowl Chamber Set Imari Colors Floral Leaf Design
This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Wash Bowl Chamber Set made of Semi Porcelain. It is Beautifully Decorated in a Floral. Leaf and Fern Pattern in a Brilliant Imari Palette of colors- Cobalt Blue and Iron Red- all highlighted and outlined in gold accents against a Semi-Porcelain background with molded flourishes. The bowl and the pitcher are each marked with handwritten number in gold- 934. The bowl as an impressed mark as well. I believe it reads 12 over 19. I am not certain of the maker or the exact age of the set. But from the form and the feel and the decorations. I am pretty certain they date to the mid to late 1800s and likely were made in the Staffordshire region of England. The Pitcher stands about 11 inches tall. It has a small glaze bubble pop(see photo 9) in the bottom foot. The colors and the images are crisp and ... morebright. There is fine. Even crazing throughout which only adds to the character and authenticity. The bowl measures 15 3/4 inches across. There is fine. Even crazing and two glaze pops on the edges(see photo 10) There is also what appears to be an old repair in the edge. When I purchased the piece, there was a large area of yellowish film. I cleaned much of that away to show what appears to be a very tight and faint line that stretches about 4 inches long at the lip of the bowl(see last two photos) Even so. Lovely antique white ironstone pitcher and bowl. Mark on the bottom identifies it as by Edwin Bennett Pottery Co. of Baltimore MD. Both pieces are marked. Although the mark on the pitcher is very light at this point in time. Both bowl and pitcher have staining and mild crazing(please see photos) There is a hairline crack near the top of the bowl(I have provided two views of the crack- one from the interior of the bowl and one from the exterior) There are also three small marks/ dots on the interior of the bowl. I believe that these are from the way in which the bowl was set to dry following the glazing process. There are also a few scratches in the bottom of the bowl simply from use. i000000. Antique 1879 Royal Doulton Pitcher Jug Wild Roses& Thornes Gold Wash Description: This is a antique Royal Doulton pitcher or jug. It's 5 3/4" tall by 8" wide not including the handle. It's beautifully decorated with wild roses. Stems and thornes. It also has a light gold wash. It's in excellent condition without chips, cracks or crazing but it does have a factory glaze skip on the handle. It's a true glaze skip you can see the shiney glaze over the spot. There was just a spot of paint missing when fired. It's marked on the bottom Doulton's and has the English Registry mark that dates it to May of 1879. This a Victorian Adamantine wash bowl and pitcher from around the late 1800's to early 1900's It has gold sponge accents and polychrome flowers This antique is in excellent condition for its age There is normal fine even crazing and 2 cracks inside the bowl and 3 small chips on the sides of the pitcher(see pic) The pitcher measures 12 inches tall. The bowl is 14 1/2 inches across and is Very thick and heavy. Both pieces have the Adamantine China ribbon backstamp in Black.

This is a gorgeous antique porcelain chamber pitcher made by HOMER LAUGHLIN. No bowl with this one but it could be paired very lovely with a white basin bowl. This is a large wash pitcher(11" in height) and it is detailed with pink roses and gold gilting. The porcelain has lots of shine left on the finish. There is minor wear on gold gilt border edging and one tiny manufacturers"dimple" on rim. There is also a slight"Y" shaped hairline crack on the body of the pitcher(does not affect the overall use of the pitcher or character) Price reflects the issues noted. Buyer to pay U.S. shipping.
