I will be selling a lot of my collection of procelain, dolls and vintage toys which most of them are being sold in my store so please take a look n see my! The Ewer/Pitcher is marked Dresden SEMI-PORCELAIN and the basin is not marked. I do not believe that this is an original pair but both are actually old. The pitcher has embossed designs in the middle part and by the top. See images. It has a muted bouquet of flowers that I cannot determine. The pitcher also has some crazing but no cracks that I can see. There's also a muted bouquet inside the snout. The basin looks like it was used and there are some water marks inside the basin. It is also embossed on top and it is not marked. The floral design cloub be cherry blossom. I cannot determine if the florals on both pieces are decals of handpainted since they are both muted. The basin also has cracks inside, by the lip and outside(I found 2) but its not a cvrack the goes through the ceramic. The basin is a very thick ceramic almost like an Ironstone piece. It measures 17" in diameter and about 5.25" high. The Pitcher measures 11.875" High, 10" by 8.5" NOTE: If you purchase this item. Please wait for my invoice since I will need to add the insurance(they do not automatically calculate) This is a very heavy item, an oversized package and will need to be double boxed. Buffalo Pottery Set I am proud to present a beautiful antique Chamber set consisting of a wash bowl. Large pitcher, small pitcher, and what I beleive may be a soap bowl. The pattern is"Cairo" with lovely Old World roses and was manufactured from 1905 to 1916. On the underneath side of each piece states that the item is Buffalo Pottery and has the Buffalo symbol. See picture of stamp. The set has no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. There is typical crazing present in all 4 pieces, with the wash bowl having the most crazing. The other three pieces display without seeing crazing except upon close examination. There is some gold trim loss to the wash bowl and large pitcher. The smaller pitcher has most of its gold trim. I do not know the exact name or manufacturer of this set, but it reminds of the patterns Minton produced in the early 1800s. Neither piece is marked. The bowl is scalloped and measures approximately 13" in diameter and stands about 4 1/2" tall. Antique K.T.K. Wash stand bowl set containing 7 pieces. The pitcher is approx. 11" tall and 10" across. The wash bowl is a large 16.5" across. The set is a floral design with pink and green colors. Striking Antique Pitcher & Wash Bowl Chamber Set Imari Colors Floral Leaf Design
This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Wash Bowl Chamber Set made of Semi Porcelain. It is Beautifully Decorated in a Floral. Leaf and Fern Pattern in a Brilliant Imari Palette of colors- Cobalt Blue and Iron Red- all highlighted and outlined in gold accents against a Semi-Porcelain background with molded flourishes. The bowl and the pitcher are each marked with handwritten number in gold- 934. The bowl as an impressed mark as well. I believe it reads 12 over 19. I am not certain of the maker or the exact age of the set. But from the form and the feel and the decorations. I am pretty certain they date to the mid to late 1800s and likely were made in the Staffordshire region of England. The Pitcher stands about 11 inches tall. It has a small glaze bubble pop(see photo 9) in the bottom foot. The colors and the images are crisp and ... morebright. There is fine. Even crazing throughout which only adds to the character and authenticity. The bowl measures 15 3/4 inches across. There is fine. Even crazing and two glaze pops on the edges(see photo 10) There is also what appears to be an old repair in the edge. When I purchased the piece, there was a large area of yellowish film. I cleaned much of that away to show what appears to be a very tight and faint line that stretches about 4 inches long at the lip of the bowl(see last two photos) Even so. The Set Displays Wonderfully and is a Great Find. The set was a recent estate sale purchase from an avid Chamber Set collector in Central Pennsylvania and is fresh to market. Antique 1800's John Edwards Victory Ironstone Wash Set
This a nice wash set by John Edwards that includes a pitcher. Wash bowl, chamber pot and shaving cup that has some damage but still displays very nice. All of the pieces have a beautiful dolphin handle. The pitcher has a crack at the top of the handle but it is hard to see in the pictures, it has no chips. The pitcher is 12" tall. The chamber pot has two chips on the under side of the lid and one chip on the rim of the pot, it has no cracks. The pot is about 6.5" tall with the lid on. When the lid is on the chips can't be seen. The bowl has no chips or cracks. The bowl is 14" in diameter and 4" tall. The shaving cup is 3.5" in diameter and 3.25" tall. Antique 2 pitcher wash bowl set - China - 6 pcs.
This is a set of 6 pieces. The large bowl measures: 15 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" tall. The blue glaze has crazing as you would expect from a piece this old. There is a crack that goes in a J shape in from the edge and has not broken off a piece. Looks like it is no danger of breaking off. The large pitcher stands 11 1/4" tall x 9" from pour spout to handle. Glaze has some crazing but a lot less than the bowl. No chips or cracks. The small pitcher stands almost 8" tall x 6 1/2" wide at spout to handle. No chips or cracks. Just some crazing like the others. The last piece is a round soap holder. There is a flat piece inside with a whole to put the soap so water drains under this piece away from the soap. It measures 5" round x 4" to the top of the small handle. There is a chip out from the side of the edge of ... morethe bowl and another tiny one also on the top edge. The piece can be turned with the chip to the back for display purposes. The lid and inside drain are intact. The drain insert has some small chips around the edge-does not detract or harm its function. Glaze: On all pieces there is a colonial blue glaze with a gold/olive green and darker blue sponged on style of color. There is an embossed leaf pattern on the side of the pitcher and soap dish. The outside of the bowl is plain other than the glaze design. There is also gold accents throughout-sponged on and around the edge of the bowl. The handle on the 2 pitchers and lid of the soap dish are a darker greenish brown and more ornate. Other uses for these pieces could be flower vases or containers. The small pitcher I have used for Sangria. The large bowl makes a great large salad bowl at a party. The small soap dish can be used as a container for anything. Minus the inside drain for the soap. Antique Villeroy& Boch Wash Basin and Pitcher in ivory and gold. Made in Dresden, Germany, between 1874 and 1909 according to the bottom maker's marks. This gorgeous matching set is in excellent condition(no crazing) And the gold bands are estimated to be 98 to 100% intact on both the basin and pitcher- very unusual for pieces of this age. The basin has no cracks or chips. In the interest of full honesty, the pitcher has one minor defect: a hairline crack which runs across the gold band(4.5mm or one-sixth of an inch) and approx 14mm(one-half inch) along the rim of the pitcher. The line is perhaps 1mm wide(I can't get a measurement with my digital caliper, but it appears to be literally about the width of a hair) It is not loose and does not go all the way through from the rim to the side(or from one side to the other) It is difficult ... moreto see in normal use and viewing; in fact. A very nice five piece antique. Circa 1900, ivory color china chamber set by Cauldon, England. There is a fine 11-1/2" tall wash pitcher, a fine 5" tall by 16" diameter wash bowl, a fine 5-1/4" tall by 9" diameter slop jar, a 1-3/4" tall by 5" diameter soap dish- with chips to side glued back, and a 2-3/4" tall by 7-1/2" diameter wash cloth bowl? with crack to side. All are nicely transfer decorated with stylized florals, gilt rimmed. All have fine crazing, any staining to the very underbellies or bottoms. The set is for one price.

PB&S mark was only used between 1878-1891. was the only period that Powell was part of the company) Was the mark of Powell. Bishop& Stonier. Staffordshire England. Factory-Stafford Street Works Stoke-On-Trent. This amazing flow blue set has no cracks or splits but does have crazing which is hard to see on the decorated part but can be seen on the bottoms.see picture. Poppy flowers and signed poppy on the bottom. This is transferware. marked on the bottom poppy in flow blue- number in raised triangle on bowl Rd 160737- on pitcher Rd 81617 initials PB&S which stand for Powell, Bishop& Stafford and was only used from 1878 till 1891 when Powell was no longer with the factory and it became Bishop& Stonier. Antique BROWNFIELD & SONS 4 PC Set Wash Basin Pitcher & Bowl with soap dish
Very rare Brownfield& Sons wash basin set. Bowl is approximately 5" tall and 15-1/2" diameter. The pitcher is 13-1/4" tall. I believe the other piece is a soap dish but I haven't seen one like it before. The top has 21 holes in it so the water can drain into the bowl underneath. This small dish is 2-1/4" tall and 5-3/4" diameter(This is the measurement with the lid on) Each piece has a very beautiful floral design. The only piece not stamped with the Brownfield& Sons hallmark is the lid to the small dish but it is obviously original to the set. No chips or cracks which is very rare for a set this old. This wash bowl set. Manufactured in England approximately 1856, is brown and white with hints of rose and gold with an eagle motif. I apologize that the mark on the bottom is blurry- it says: Dessin 5968 Depose BWM&C Woodpecker R111657 It is not chipped or cracked. Some of the gold is rubbed off around the edge and there are some scuffs to the edge and center of the bowl. Otherwise it is a real beauty! Thanks for looking.
