Antique Vintage Warwick Pitcher 1 Quart 9.5 Inch 10GA Brown Flowers Both Sides
This pitcher came from an auction in Vermont. It is marked 10GA Warwick on the bottom. Warwick was out of Wheeling. West Virginia from 1887 through 1951. The pitcher has the brown shading background with light flowers on each side. It measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the spout. 6 1/2" from the handle to the tip of the spout, and about 5" in diameter at the widest point. It has some wear, see all pictures. There is a chip on the handle, see the 10th pictures, and a couple of surface chips/wear, see the 5th and 11th picture. The pitcher holds 4 cups when full. There is crackling in the glaze.

Up for auction is a very old pitcher and 6 mugs set. all have a Monk Portrait on them stamp on the bottom says, IOGA WARWICK CHINA WARWICK over the swords and 4 have A-1 in red. high glaze both inside and out. the pitcher is 10-1/2" high and the mugs are 3" high. two of the mugs are in bad condition they have repairs, done badly, the other four are in VG condition, the portraits are clear, all have specks of paint loss and crazing. one has a tiny chip by the rim. the pitcher is in wonderful condition, portrait is clear, NO chips, cracks, but there are specks of loss paint and crazing. it's a really old set, extremely collectable.

The pitcher's brown transferware depicts Roman/Greek pots, vases, and serving platter atop a leaf-scroll pattern shelf. This exact same design appears on both sides of the pitcher. The pots and vases pictured on this pitcher contain images of Greek/Roman mythological men and women. The top of the pitcher is bordered with a floral scroll design that is about 1 1/4" thick. The inside rim of the pitcher also has a brown border. The handle is decorated with a floral design and raised scroll design at the bottom of the handle. There is a bit of wear to the gold trim and 2 small flaws on the handle from the manufacturing process, as both are under the glaze. This lovely Warwick Ioga pitcher has a portrait of a red capped monk/cardinal smiling on the front of it and a unique shaped spout. The majority of the pitcher is different shades of tan and brown. It measures 7 3/4" tall. 9" across at the top, and 6 1/4" in diameter at the base. It is generally in good condition considering its age but there are some hairline cracks which are the worst on the very bottom. Thanks for looking!

It is the typical brown with a picture of a sea captain smoking a pipe. Often. The company made these with monks. The pitcher is approximately 6 1/2" tall and is in very good vintage condition. There is some crazing to the glaze on the bottom and inside of the pitcher. This does not detract from the display or use value of the pitcher. There are NO chips or cracks. Th e stamp on the bottom was used only between 1893-1898. This milk pitcher has a floral theme with gold gilt on the handle and top opening. There are stain spots on the inside and what feels like a"chip" on the inside. The chip is just surface and does not go all the way through. Truly a beautiful piece.
