They were purchased in the UK. ~~~~ This is a nice matched set that has been well-cared for and is in remarkable shape. Both pieces show signs of use and age but given they are a hundred years old. Wouldn’t you too? Please look at the pictures for more detail of the flaws. ~~~~ The pitcher measures approximately 13.5” tall and 10” handle to spout. Antique Pair of Large Swedish Costume Pitchers Swedish Beautiful Rare
This is a rare pair of antique Swedish costume pitchers. They stand approx. 7.5" tall and date from approx. 1900. They have pink and green and yellow flower decorations. And a pretty Art Nouveau look. One pitcher has illustrations of Skane and Lappland, and the other has Sodermanland and Skane. There is slight wear to the designs and overall crazing and staining. Ucagco Watering Can with Applied Flowers 6 1/2 in. h(with handle) x 3 in. w(without handle and spout) x 6 1/2 in. w(with handle and spout) 12 oz. This beautiful pitcher is in excellent condition and is reminiscent of an old Meissen or Dresden piece. The craftsmanship is beautiful. But not quite as precise as those makers can be- see how the holes in the spout weren't completely finished in photo 3. It is in excellent condition! I have examined each flower numerous times and I found a small chip on the front of a purple flower(on the back of the pitcher, picture 7) I also found a similar but smaller chip on the back of a leaf that is located on the spout. I have cleaned this but it could use more precise cleaning, mainly on the inside. The pitcher is a little off white and seems to have a light brownish wash on it. Antique pitcher vase hand painted Chrysanthemums Worcester style
I believe this is Worcester. Marks unclear, but it's very old and the style is similar to other ones I've seen, you be the best judge. The hand painted flowers are gorgeous, but sadly it's been knocked around in its life. The spout was repaired at one time, two chips on the inside rim at the break. Measures 6 3/8" tall. I try to find any defects but I can't guarentee I'll see them all. No returns unless item is not as described. This is an older piece and therefor is no longer perfect as the day it was made. This auction is for a Vintage Pitcher. The background is white with a floral design of purple and white pansy type flowers. There is aso a fine gold trim throughout. The pitcher measures 11.5 tall. About 10" lip to handle, and about 7.5 across the fattest part of the pitcher. On the bottom is a seal or mark: Boma Fama Est Mellor Zona Aurea Alba china. These words surround a globe with a sword inserted into it. The pitcher is in near perfect condition with only one 1/8" spot where one on the pansy leaves has been worn. The picture shows a washbowl also. Actually I am only listing the pitcher because the washbowl is no longer available. This antique pitcher is 9 inches tall and almost 9 inches wide. It is marked Statford H Alcock& Co. Cobridge, England. Patent February 12, 1884, Being an old used antique, it is not perfect, but almost. It has a small chip on the bottom edge and a brown crack that shows on the front and the inside. It holds 11 cups of water and does not leak. There is crazing on the inside bottom and some on the top of the outside that does not stand out. In other words, it is not a visual distraction. Early European Ornate Pink Pitcher with Magnolias. Gold Trim, Gold Enamel Paint This is one of two pieces we have listed in this stunningly beautiful pattern. This auction is for a pitcher. It is 7 1/2" high. It is decorated with large flowers that we believe to be magnolias. There is gold trim around the edges. There is also gold enamel paint on the outline of the pattern. It can be felt with one's finger. Also. There is a"ruffled" or"gathered" effect at the bottom of the outside of the bowl, right above the base. This can be seen in the fourth photo. This is very unusual and something we have not seen before. It adds to the beauty of the bowl. There are no marks on the piece. We believe it to be European. Possibly English and dates to the middle to late 1800's. We are basing this on our combined knowledge ... moreof pottery and porcelain but we are not absolutely positive. We posted this on Ebay's Pottery, Glass and Porcelain Board and they were unable to help. This is unusual for these experts! The condition is quite good. There is one area near the spout that appears to have a flake but it is glazed over so it is considered a factory flaw. It is hard to see. However. There are no chips or cracks. Some of the gold trim is missing but nothing major. Be sure to click on the photos to see more clearly. The bottom is unmarked. The second piece we have is a matching bowl. The last picture shows the two together. They are NOT a wash set. The proportions are all wrong. However. They do look nice together. If the purchaser of this item lives in the midwest to west coast. For your consideration: A Early Frankoma Pottery Prairie Green Guernsey Pitcher#93. The Pitcher measures 6 1/2" in height with the lid on.height. It is 4 1/2" at it widest point(middle of pitcher) and the base is 2 3/4" in diameter. The bottom of the pitcher is unglazed. Revealing the Red Sapulpa Oklahoma clay. It is marked: 93 FRANKOMA. The FRANKOMA marking looks to be done with one of the metal incisied stamps that were destroyed in the 1938 fire. I strongly believe that the pitcher was made in the 1940's or 1950's. Spectacular Mochaware Mocha Cat's Eyes Pitcher and Pepper-Pot
Outstanding mochaware pitcher and pepperpot. Rarely offered individually, much less as a set. I could have listed them separately, but choose to keep them together as they should be. Please study all photos for the best description. These two pieces are representative of the finest examples you can find of early 19th century mochaware. They are decorated in bold identical colors of blue. Ochre, and dark brown. Profusely decorated with matching cat's eyes design. The pitcher stands at about 6 3/4" a wonderful size. The pepperpot, once in the collection of Jonathan Rickard, is 4 1/4" tall. Please note the crisp dee p blue diamond rouletting on the pitcher. This is rarely found in blue. In most cases by far, it is green. The condition of these pieces is excellent. Mochaware was used daily. And most pieces with such striking decoration ... moreare not found in this condition today. Both pieces are lightweight with no signs of restoration and a fine finish. There are four very shallow flakes on the pitcher-two on the sides of the spout and two on the inside rim at the top.hardly noticeable, these are not a distraction. The leaf tipped handle and base are fine. The pepperpot is also in fine shape-base, body, and top. The only flaws are several nicks on the upper rim.very common with these pepperpots. This set is for the advanced collector who knows that in this case, rarity offsets any minor condition issues. You can look for years and not come across a set as good as this. Gold detailing around rim. Foot, handle and near bottom on both sides. On the bottom it is marked and says"Ridgways England Royal Semi-Porcelain Osborne" Also some#s backstamped or imprinted. This is in fair condition because the gold has faded from use mostly around the rim. Glaze is missing in a couple of tiny areas, small area near the base on the outside is lightly discolored and tiny fleabite on the inside of the top rim which is difficult to see. Also very fine surface crazing but it does not detract from this. This is still a lovely flow blue piece even with the flaws and displays well. Produced by The Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory which was founded in 1882 and closed in 1945. This piece is stamped with the Robert Hanke makers mark and was made in Austria. It measures about 7 3/4" at the peck of the top design, is about 3 1/2" at its widest and 2 1/4" at the base. It includes a very intricate hand-painted floarl design on one side with a simpler design on the back and also includes very nice gold trim around the spout, neck, handle and base. Antique Pitcher & Bowl Set Pitcher is a Nautilus Shell Design
Antique pitcher and bowl set. Pitcher is in the form of a nautilus shell with sponged on 22k gold accents. Coral branch handle with seaweed designs in relief. No makers mark but it does have a registration number. Oval shaped basin is 6 1/2 inches deep x 17 1/2 long. The pitcher is 13 inches high x 11 wide. Most unusual set I have seen in 30 years of this business and it is of museum quality. Probably a European turn of the last century export made for one of the commercial fishing villages along the east coast. Set is clean with no chips. Nicks, flakes or cracks.

Found in an old east central Illinois estate. This fine 19th century pitcher measures 9 ½” tall by 8 ½” from spout to handle& has a body diameter of about 6 ¼” This has base wear, wear to the high spots of the handle, a tiny chip or two along the rim’s/spout’s edge, there is one spot of crazing inside the pitcher below the handle. There’s appears to be some“flaking” or“scaling off” of some old“shellac” or some other repair material. We put it under a black light& there appear to be old repairs to the lower portions of the pitcher, but well done in my opinion. The design of blue 6 petaled blossoms, dark pink& green leaves, dark pink“buds” is enhanced by its black“border” at the base, rim[inside& out] on the handle of the pitcher. 13" Tall Large Crazed White w/Pink Stripe Warranted Ironstone Pitcher w/repair
13" tall x 8" across heavily crazed white with pink stripe large water pitcher. I do not have the bowl if there was one. Which I'm sure there was. This looks beautiful with the crazing. It's all consistent and adds, I believe, to the piece. There is a nice pink stripe painted across pitcher and a wonderful mold relief(see pic. 4) I was just looking at the mold relief on the handle, and noticed the repair. It's wonderfully repaired. I wish I knew who did it. It is smooth, almost unnoticeable unless you happen to be selling it on Ebay and go over with magnifying glass with a strong light. There is a line of black around rim, five marks on handle, and long stripe down handle(see pic 2) Bottom is marked, Warranted Ironstone China" There are a couple bangs and dings in the bottom rim that's to be expected(see pic. ... more8) The hairline crack in on the right side if looking at the spout.
