Beautiful pitcher about 50-100 years old-has wonderful detail around the top and on the handle. The body is smooth with floral and fern pattern coming from the top of handle. There is a berry pattern under the spout. The pitcher is 12 inches tall and about 7 inches in diameter on the bottom. Bottom has a very intricate logo design with the words Mellor& Co. The pitcher is in wonderful condition with no cracks or chips. There is one crazing but nothing that would prevent from using it as it was designed.

Nice vintage piece that does show some age. No cracks or chips that I am seeing. Glaze does have some of the typical crazing and piece could use a nice overall cleaning. I am seeing no issues with the floral patterns. Some of the gold trim work is showing some wear however I think it may have come like that originally to give it an aged look. Stands about 7-8" tall. Will make a great display piece that will show its age very nicely.

Vintage White Ironstone China bowl and pitcher by Mellor, Taylor & Co England
I have saved the best for last. Beautiful Matching Vintage White Ironstone China Bowl and Pitcher. It is probably 100 years old and is in wonderful shape except for some very light crazing on the bowl-the pitcher has no crazing. The detail on the handle and all over the pitcher is wonderful. The floral portion of the pattern appears to be bleeding heart. This is a very large pitcher at almost 13 inches tall and about 7 x 8 inches on the bottom. The logo on the bottom says Warranted Stone China. Mellor, Taylor& Co. England. The matching bowl is 15 inches in diameter x 5 inches high and has the same logo as the pitcher. The bowl has the same pattern on the inside and is smooth on the outside.

Offered for auction is this two piece washbowl and pitcher from the late 1800's to early 1900's. It was made by Eururia and Mellor Co. of England. As marked. For its age it is in very good condition. Please see item description abpove. There are no cracks or chips. There has been some loss of gold paint on the bowl. It measures 13 inches high at the handle, and 12 inches at the spout. The body is 8 inches in width, and 11.5 inches from the handle to the spout. The base is 5-1/4 inches. The bowl is 16 inches wide, 3 inches deep and 6-3/4 inches at the base. It is made of thick porcelain, and the two items weigh a total of 12 pounds. The rose decorations are transfer decals, not hand painted. Sorry.
