VINTAGE WATER PITCHER& WASH BASIN This is a Beautiful Vintage Water Pitcher and Wash Basin in a beautiful White and Pink design with the raised Geese on both sides of the pitcher. The pitcher and basin are both in extremely good condition with there being no cracks. Chips, or repairs. There is however very minor crazing around the bottom of the pitcher and around the edges of the basin which can only be seen on close examination under very good lighting. The Pitcher is approximately 12" inches tall, and the Basin is 15 3/4" inches in diameter.

Antique Victorian Huge English Wash Bowl Water Pitcher Aesthetic Blue Transferware HARVEST by Della Robbia Lovely and large water pitcher made by a not so well known North Staffordshire potter called Della Robbia Co. They were only in existence from 1894 until 1901. Located in Birkenhead. The pattern name"HARVEST" is printed on the bottom of the pitcher. The center swatch is indeed that of some workers in the field with flowers and stems projecting through it and around it. On the back side of the pitcher, the scene is repeated but in a smaller size. Between the two scenes there is a small sprig of flowers and leaves. This pitcher has a segmented melon shaped body. Scalloped top and rope handle. The pitcher measures 11-1/2" tall and about 8" wide(across the widest part of the body) This is the size you would find with ... morea wash basin bowl! Would look so nice in a cottage decor or at a bed and breakfast. The pitcher is in excellent condition! If I didn't know its age and only looked at its condition. I would think it was nearly new! There are no chips or cracks or crazing. The only very minor thing I see are some light grayish marks along the rope handle which appear to have been done in manufacturing, perhaps thinner paint coverage. Also, a few craze lines on the bottom exterior of the pitcher and a few inside the pitcher, only on the surface. The pitcher is immaculately clean, inside and out. The glaze is nice and shiny. A true beauty!

Pitcher (Water) and Wash Basin bowl, English, Vintage, Falcon Ware, large
Vintage Pitcher and Wash Basin(could be from early 1900's) FALCON WARE. Made in England. Condition is excellent; value in set. Pitcher is 11.5 inches high to the highest point of spout. Bowl has 16.5 inch diameter which includes 1 1/4' lip all around. To my knowledge it has not been broken or repaired. I can not guarantee but I seen no evidence otherwise. The top glaze has fine lines in it as I'd expect from old porcelain. Inside the pitcher on its' floor one can feel some roughness about 1/2" ound. The pattern is captivating. See photo of cottage. The English cottage is repeated in various spots alternating with a flower bouquet. The pitcher on the bottom is engraved with MADE IN ENGLAND it is stamped with the same stamp on the bottom of the bowl where it is legible. The handwritten numbers on the pitcher base are 4 ... more8 5 0. and a handwritten floating"16" The bowl stamp is quite legible with FALCON WARE ENGLAND And a cursive capital LG intertwined. Looks like what is on the bottom of the pitcher but fainter and partially there on the pitcher. The gold trim seems very intact. Normal wear but actually less than normal wear to me. I see a touch worn off the handle but it's charming as I'd expect it there. The bowl also has the floating 16(or is it 10? Background color best described as Creamy. This set is charming. Wonderful decorative piece. Not too fragile, large for a statement, and a pattern that could go in most informal spots. I used this in a very contemporary home! The wash basin is approximately 15 1/2 inches in diameter. The wash basin does have some crackling in the glaze. Most of which is not visible except for a couple lines 3 inches or so in length. There is a line on the bottom that is noticeable. It runs about 4 inches long. You can't feel it at all and I've filled the water basin and pitcher full with water and there is no leaking or seepage at all. Just want to give complete disclosure. This listing is for a large antique wash water pitcher. It measures 11.5" to the highest point. And 4.75" across the ring on the bottom. It's marked, but I can't tell what the mark is. The pitcher does have crazing, and as you can see in the photos, it has a large chip on the rim, with a hairline crack that's about 3" long. Shipping is based on 8lbs, packed weight.

Beautiful aesthetic"ORCHID" pattern with cattails and apple/cherry blossoms. Clearly stamped on the bottom including the British ceramic registry number- Rd No#58105" which dates this piece to be circa 1884-1886. Condition = AS IS It is damaged/cracked and in need of professional repair. Or could be used as a decorative piece. It looks like it was never used BUT has a crack around the entire middle. see pic) The ends of the crack do not connect. But will as soon as the item is picked up by handle. This auction is for a used irridescent white pitcher and water basin. It has pictures of what appears to be village people all over the pitcher and basin. Sadly there is some slight knicks along the edges of the basin. And one slight chip. There is some cracks as well. There is a small mark on the pitcher. This is why selling so cheap. Water Pitcher and Wash Bowl Basin Lovely Set with all the Sky Blue Transfer ware Flowers Hunter Green Leaves trimmed with a Burgundy for the stems And the Sun Yellow centers There is a ring of 14 k that runs the rim of the bowl which only shows one or two wear spots On the outside of the bowl it has a pattern in the porcelain ribbed ring runs in a circle with another 14k ring of gold around the foot of the bowl. Marked on the bottom with the makers mark Keystone Condition of the bowl: You will see crazing and some staining in that crazing. If you do not like the staining which is part of the age I know a recipe to clean it out. I have looked up the marks on these pieces of Vodrey and the marks date c1896(Kovels) Bonita is the name the pottery gave it or was the pottery herself. Not sure. The pitcher in the bowl is approx. 13” tall, bowl is 5” tall and the width of the bowl is approx. 16 ½” across. The weight on both bowl and pitcher is 12# reason for the shipping cost. The blue is very nice color and the bowl also has a doe color washed around the edge inside and out. I thought this was stain but nothing would remove the color, must be in the making of the set. Too, the pitcher has two runs that is in the making, as shown in the pictures. There are stress cracks but not broken through. A beautiful Wheat Design. This set matches. Even the basin has wheat decoration around its rim. The Straight razor dish could also be used for soap, and often was. It is stamped( Imperial Ironstone China) and made by Robert Cochran& Co. of Glasgow Scotland. It measures 8 1/2 inches. The Pitcher(Royal Ironstone China) is 12 1/2 inches high and is made by W&E Corn of England. The basin is 14 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches high. It is made by Baker& Co Ltd. of England. It has Pearl White written over the crest. All pieces are in excellent condition. In addition I am including a 1890 edition of the Hymn Book"The Finest of the Wheat" For Missionary and Revival Meetings. A very apropos item to be displayed with this set. 415 pages that shows a lot of use through the years.

For your bidding consideration: Antique Bisto(Bishop& Stonier) England Victorian Wash Water Pitcher- Rose Floral This wonderful old Victorian pitcher. Made by Bisto(Bishop& Stonier) England, is in nice shape except for some cracks at the bottom, which have been repaired. Some are hairline, but a couple are through and through. The pitcher seems quite secure from further breakage, as the repair was adequately done, but there is a pinkish coloration around the cracks from the material that was used. This is fortunately at the base and also inside, where it is less noticeable. The pitcher is not water-tight, so could not be used to contain fresh flowers, unless a more efficient repair is done, or a separate liner is used, but would be fine for displaying dried arrangements. There are some scuff marks on the base where the pitcher sat ... moreon a hard surface, but overall, this pitcher is in good antique condition, and still has vibrant colors and a nice glaze. Pieces from Bishop& Stonier, a porcelain manufacturer from Staffordshire, England, generally date from the late 1800s to the turn of the century. The maker's mark and antique'old marks' are on the bottom. And the photos also show where the pitcher has been cracked and a repair done. I believe that some white enamel could be brushed on that would cover the pinkish stain, but a re-repair would be necessary for the pitcher to hold water on its own without dripping. This is a very striking looking large pitcher. Made from a heavy porcelain or ironstone, and is fairly heavy, weighing close to 4 Lbs without packaging. The pitcher measures 9 1/2" tall, 8" wide across the base, 9 1'2" from the end of the handle to end of pouring spout, and the top opening is 7" wide. The firm was well known for its white granite(undecorated ironstone) ware in imitation of contemporary French porcelain. Antique Vintage Huge Pitcher and Water Wash Basin Home Laughlin Ironstone Roses Up for auction today is a beautiful antique wash basin. Or bowl and the water pitcher to fill it. The pitcher is the huge size in white ironstone and is embossed with detail. It is in great condition for it's age. There are no chips or cracks present, just some crazing that is to be expected. The bottom of this is marked with the green crown hallmark. The wash bowl is white ironstone pottery with lovely roses on the interior. The color of the roses is a green with a bluish tint. The bottom carries the Homer Laughlin hallmark. There are no chips or crack to the bowl either just some crazing and a few age spots. Description Asian Water Pitcher& Wash Basin Bowl Colorful with people and floral design The was the first bathroom sink made in the United States in the late 18th century. 1] The washstands were small tables on which were placed a pitcher and a deep bowl. Following the English tradition. Sometimes the table had a hole where the large bowl rested into, which lead to the making of drysinks. From about 1820 to 1900 the drysink evolved by adding a wooden cabinet with a trough built on the top and lined with or lead. 1] This is where the bowls or buckets for water were kept. Splashboards were sometimes added to the back wall. As well as shelves and drawers, the more elaborate designs usually placed in the kitchens.

Measures 11 1/2" tall including handle. Measures 25" around the body of pitcher. Measures 5" at spout opening. The exterior glaze has a very smooth finish. However. There is a"crazing" on the bottom glaze and to the interior due to age only. Which only adds to the age and character of the pitcher- see photos. There is light to moderate crazing on the pitcher that did not show up due to the flash. There is heavy crazing on the bottom as seen in the pictures. This pitcher will complete your set if you already have the basin or you can use it as a vase. It's beautiful and one of a kind. There is no damage and the pitcher has a very smooth finish. Rare Antique Warranted Sydney Pink Rose Bowl& Pitcher Set Warranted Syndey from turn of the century- late 1800's or early 1900's. You are bidding on a RARE primitive antique pitcher and wash bowl basin set. The bowl measures 14 inches across and 4 ½ inches high. It has a beautiful pink rim and a pink and green rose painted appliqué decoration. The outside of the bowl has a raised leaf design near the bottom. The bottom is unmarked. The water pitcher measures about 10 ½ inches tall and about 8 inches across the widest point. It has the same green and pink rose appliqué decoration as the bowl. It has a single rosebud appliqué on the inside of the spout. The outside of the spout/ rim and the underside of the handle have what looks like a sprayed gradient pink tint and the pitcher has a beautiful scalloped ... moreedge and flowing handle. It has the same raised leaf design on the lower edge of the pitcher. The green watermark stamped on the bottom of the pitcher says WARRANTED SYDNEY around a royal crest with a gargoyle and a unicorn. I believe these are from the 1800’s. These items are in amazing antique condition with just a couple of small chips to the outer edge of the bowl rim. The pitcher is perfect. It is interesting how it looks like specks of the paint from the appliqué have flaked off in the glaze before firing adding flakes of color to the white background. This is an amazing HUGE set. Really beautiful set! Bowl measures 16 1/2"w 4 1/2"h pitcher 11 1/2" Bowl has a fair amount of crazing. I feel it just adds to the beauty! Pitcher has smaller crazing. There is one chip on the bottom of the pitcher. No other chips. There is a hairline crack in the glaze on the side of the pitcher at the rim.
