The cream pitcher is made of porcelain and it has a tree shaped handle and a dimpled spout. The base is hand-painted with floral sprays and a single larger flower with leaves in pink and red on either side of the creamer. The top rim has two bands of pink with dots around the rim. Overall the piece stands approximately 5 5/8" tall and is about 6 1/2" in length. It is not marked. But this form can be found in the book Chinese Export Porcelain An Historical Survey. This is an authentic piece and not a modern reproduction! Item Condition: The overall condition of the cream pitcher is as immaculate as they come. It has no chips. You will be bidding on a beautiful flowered 12" porcelain/ceramic boudoir pitcher that is marked La Francaise Porcelain. Which is the mark used by The French China Co of East Liverpool, Ohio, that later became the Sebring China Co. They were is business from 1898-1932 before the depression closed their doors. Up for auction is a Marked and Signed"Roy" Weissman Company, Incorporated of East Palestine, Ohio and New York City, New York(Circa 1941 to Closed in 1957) Weisley China(WC) Brand, American Art Pottery, Hand Painted-Handcrafted, American Painted Porcelain" Small Porcelain Artware Ewer Pitcher which can best be Attributed as Being Manufactured and Decorated by the Dwight Morris China Company also of East Palestine, Ohio(1939 to 1982) in"Excellent Plus" Used Condition and Made Between Circa 1941 to 1957. This little ewer has no chips. Cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs or repairs of any kind. It's only post factory issue is that some gold trim has worn away and picture 12 is a close up of the most worn area. This isn't uncommon to see when gold trim is applied either. It can be fired on or underglaze and ... moreit ususally is when it's part of the main pattern, but many times it's a final production step and it's applied cold. It has real gold in it and ceramic decorators use 22, 23 or 24 karat gold. It's always been an acceptable practice of cold painting the gold so it's not usually applied as a standard for a pottery or decorators quality of work. Immerse washings and shelf cleanings or dustings with a heavy hand are two main ways wear happens. Most consumers aren't aware that the gold trim areas need some special care. This piece is about 6 1/4 inches tall and about 3 1/8 inches at the most bulbous point near the bottom. The next biggest measurement is the from the outward pour lip across to the handle at about 2 3/4 inches and the top opening is an oval of about 5/8 inches by 3/4 inches across. Being true porcelain means this piece will be strong, but light weighing about 5 ounces. There's a beautiful hand painted floral pattern which I'm fairly sure is representative of the pansy flower. Antique Victorian Tall Porcelain China Tulip Pitcher Vase Stunning Exc Cond
This was one of a handful of antique/Victorian pitchers/vases that my mother purchased and held dear all of her life. She passed last year. And I am selling some of her antiques to offset my father's medical expenses. This piece was most likely purchased in or near Savannah, GA where she was born or Jacksonville, FL where she lived when first married in the early 50s. There are no cracks. Chips, etc. but, like any similar pitcher of this age, there are areas of the gold trim on handle and base that are faded or missing. Also the top/rim shows age(see last photo) Please note that I have not cleaned nor washed it in any way. A gentle soap bath may well brighten that part of the porcelain. However, it does not diminish the pitcher's beauty. Inside shows a little age and discoloration at the very bottom. I do my best to tell you more about it. the stamp on the bottom reads( China E-OH- Hand Painted NIPPON) nothing else. the flowers are Lavader. I had it a very lone time estimated 50 years. I bought it in a. Anitque store. I show you several photos. there are no cracks or any damage) inside at the spout area inside show very fine line on each side. but it does not show. I'm thinking it has always been there. it has only been like a keep sake for me. never sued on to look at or use as a vase. you might have a better opinion and might know more about it.

Antique Pitcher - Powell Bishop & Stonier Oriental Ivy PB&S Porcelain China
This is just a gorgeous Antique Pitcher as you can see by the photos. I believe this type of decorated earthenware piece is call Transferware and that they used transfers to apply the design onto porcelain china or Ironstone pottery. It is so beautiful with many differennt vibrant colors and types of flowers. The handle has an oriental or bamboo design. On bottom is an impressed mark that looks like a B and a Triangle and Circle plus a blue logo of an Oriental Man sitting with an umbrella that has the words“ORIENTAL IVORIE” with a Y*I believe these are the marks of Powell Bishop& Stonier or PB&S from the late 1880’s. This Pitcher measures just over 6 inches tall. Condition is Excellent with no Crack or Chips although much of the Blue painted or applied rim on top and the handle has chipped off. Up for auction or"Buy It Now" is a Marked and Signed"Roy" Weissman Company, Incorporated of East Palestine, Ohio and New York City, New York(Circa 1941 to Closed in 1957) Weisley China(WC) Brand, American Art Pottery, Hand Painted-Handcrafted, American Painted Porcelain" Small Porcelain Artware Ewer Pitcher which can best be Attributed as Being Manufactured and Decorated by the Dwight Morris China Company also of East Palestine, Ohio(1939 to 1982) in"Excellent" Used Condition and Made Between Circa 1941 to 1957. This little ewer has no chips. Cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs or repairs of any kind. It's only post factory issue is that some gold trim has worn away and picture 12 is a close up of the most worn area. This isn't uncommon to see when gold trim is applied either. It can be fired ... moreon or underglaze and it usually is when it's part of the main pattern, but many times it's a final production step and it's applied cold. It has real gold in it and ceramic decorators use 22, 23 or 24 karat gold. It's always been an acceptable practice of cold painting the gold trim as a last step so it shouldn't be considered poor quality work by potteries and decorating firms. Immersed washing and dusting with a heavy hand are two main ways wear happens and most consumers aren't aware that the gold trim areas need some special care. This piece is about 6 1/4 inches tall and about 3 1/8 inches at the most bulbous point near the bottom. The next biggest measurement is the from the outward pour lip across to the handle at about 2 3/4 inches and the top opening is an oval of about 5/8 inches by 3/4 inches across. Being true porcelain means this piece will be strong. But light weighing about 5 ounces. There's a beautiful hand painted floral pattern which I'm fairly sure is representative of the pansy flower. This auction is for a nice pair of antique Victorian pieces. They are both is a pretty pink and look great together. I would say the larger one is a milk pitcher or creamer and the smaller one is an individual creamer. The larger one has a mark on the bottom that I can't make out. The larger one is 4 inches tall. Pretty Bavarian made pitcher or creamer with scalloped top edge highlighted with gold paint. Bottom of pitcher states"Bavaria Z. S, and C" Design is delicate pink roses with light pink leaves. There are also some accents raised out of the porcelain bordering the four corners of the rose design on both sides. The pitcher itself has fluted sides and tapers towards the top. Warwick China Company Pitcher, USA Porcelain Pitcher, 1890 - 1910, Poinsettia
Poinsettia floral pitcher by Warwick China Company. From the"Warwick China Company" that operated in Wheeling. West Virginia from 1887 to 1951. The mark on the bottom was used in the late 1890's until around 1910. Measurements are approx. 6-7/8" at the spout, 7-1/2" tall at the handle, 6" tall at the sides, 6" in diameter at the widest point of the pitcher and the base is 3-3/4" in diameter. This beautiful pitcher is several shades of brown, gold trim around top and spout, dark brown handle& base, with red poinsettias on both sides. This pitcher shows no signs of age with crazing. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. It does have wear of the gold and some scratches in the brown paint as shown in the photos.

Early 1900's water. Milk or cream pitcher. Measures almost 6" in overall height and almost 6" fromom handle width to pitcher spout. Condition shows minor gilding loss. Minor crazing and one small chip on base(see pics) Marked on base Pope-Gosser china. Made in USA H-21 Great for country or shabby chic decorating. I used them for fresh floral arrangements for the table. I have listed several pitchers of different sizes. Makes a beautiful table with each pitcher holding a different variety of fresh flower. Last photo shows the group of pitchers that I am selling and are listed individually. We are downsizing so now is the time for someone else to enjoy. ANTIQUE LEMONADE/WATER PITCHER This charming old pitcher has a very Scandinavian flavor! It features a single band of green and red in a heart and flower motif. Highlighted with a 1/4" gold ring. Gold hand and rim. The piece is large and measures 6 3/4" tall and 8 1/4" from front to back of handle. There is some nice embossing on the front at the spout. Small chip on top of handle. Gold paint is faded on the handle and on the rim. But the band around the middle looks great. Crazing overall including on the bottom. see pix) No cracks. No manufacturer marks, but under strong magnification, I can see a few letters. Trenton, NJ Early 20th Century Appox 8 1/4 x 5" It is in excellent condition considering its age. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs. The crazing on it is, which is typical of it's age, is so fine and completely covering the piece that it makes it even more beautiful and shows it's character.
