Antique Fleur-de-lis Pottery Pitcher English French Majolica dk green Victorian
Very interesting looking antique pottery pitcher with a beautiful Fleur-de-Lis pattern. Pretty glaze is a deep gray green. Almost black, with white raised design. I think it is probably English or French, possibly majolica but I'm not sure. No maker's mark and I am guessing at the age-possibly late 1880-1920 but could be later. Chip on bottom, where it doesn't show, 2-3 teeny chips that do show, please see photos. Also tiny spots of beige paintand 2-3 larger spots of beige paint-someone was painting and splattered-I will let the new owner take care of that as I don't want to ruin the glaze. A lot of crazing and crackling. No obvious repairs or cracks. Measures 6 inches high 4 1/2 inch diameter opening 6 3/4 inches across overall Co-ordinates well with"Midnight Race" plate I also have listed currently-see last photo. ... moreThis auction is for the pitcher only. I will combine shipping whenever possible. Please note: We only take Paypal. Payment is expected within 4 days. We will combine shipping for multiple purchases if possible. Please just ask. Please keep in mind that if you are paying by Paypal E-Check that it may take anywhere from 3-10 days for your payment to clear. ANTIQUE THOUNE POTTERY PITCHER - SWISS MAJOLICA - ISLAMIC DESIGN
Wonderful THOUNE(Switzerland) pottery pitcher in the Islamic style. It is old. Perhaps from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Stunning Majolica glazes. It stands 4.15 inches tall and 4 inches wide. A few rim frits which one can see in the photos, but nothing terrible considering it's age. I would still call it EXCELLENT condition because there are no breaks, cracks or repairs. For a fine THOUNE collection.

Antique French Majolica Double Face jug or pitcher 1900
This wonderful French majolica double face pitcher is 8 ¾ inches tall to the top of the handle and 7 ¼ inches across including the handle and spout. The pitcher depicts a woman on the top and when turned upside down it depicts a man. It is really a fun piece. The colors are brown pink and cream with turquoise inside. The handle has a bamboo look. The piece is signed on the bottom France and has an impressed mark with two squares and a circle. We have not been able to identify the mark. But some of these were made by Sarreguemines. It dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is one spot on the bottom that is an imperfection but it looks original.

Antique Victorian Majolica Pitcher~~Tree Bark/Leaves/Flowers~~Footed Base
Majolica pitcher goes to the high bidder in fine condition.there are no chips. Cracks or damage issues. The last picture will show you a clay flaw under the handle, which is 100% factory made and mentioned to be as accurate as possible in my description. The brightly colored pitcher stands 9" high at the spout and 8" high at the handle. Outside colors are a sloppy splash of blue, turquoise, yellow and brown with a background pattern of leaves and flowers on a tree bark textured surface. The interior is a dull pinkish brown wash. The pitcher stands on a cog-shaped footed base. Unmarked but for some sticky brown residue on the base, which is visible in the pictures. It's actually nice to find a piece of antique majolica without damage, as the soft paste clay was on the brittle side. Please wait for an invoice. Which will include ... moreinsurance costs and free delivery confirmation. Shipped within five business days of receiving payment. I mostly accept Paypal. But if you need other payment options, just let me know. Please read the fine print below-it will explain how I run my auctions-but don't hesitate to email with any questions if I haven't covered them in my'stuff to read' Thanks for looking! Even though eBay sends a"pay now" invitation. Please wait for an invoice from me. Please don't go by the amount you see in the auction listing.it's a estimate only, and a poor one at that. Insurance is calculated after the winning bid is posted. EBay's invoices can't calculate that cost until after the auction is ended. And their invoices don't reflect a discount given with on-line postage printing. I've also had some trouble with invoice delivery.some bidders receive them with no problem, while others have to ask for theirs. I will always send them within hours of an auction's end. But if you don't receive an invoice from me within 24 hours after an auction, it means it was lost in cyberspace and I'll need a little heads up from you. Please take a minu

Flow Blue Pitcher Art Deco Arts and Crafts Pottery Antique Majolica Folk Art
Here is a Beautiful Antique. Hand Made, Hand Painted Pitcher. The Flowing Blue lines are part of the original glaze. The glaze on this pitcher feels so soft it's like holding velvet. WOW! From 1900-1930? 9 1/2" long handle to spout x 7" wide x 7 1/2" tall to handle. The spout opening is so big that a soup can will fit inside. Holds 8 cups or 64 oz. that's a great size for a pitcher. This Antique Pitcher is in perfect condition. No chips or cracks. As you can see there is the normal air bubble pops. Glaze skips, and tool marks. That's okay, all old pottery have these identifying marks. The bottom has the numbers 106.09. The 106 is probably the pattern, and the 09 is probably the date? Collectors. This is the real deal. Antique Victorian Majolica Pitcher 1850-1900 Anchors, Flowers & Basket 7-3/4"
Antique Victorian Majolica Pitcher 1850-1900 Anchors. Flowers& Basket 7-3/4" This is a lovely antique majolica pitcher with a design inspired by the seaside. It appears on page 75 of Mariann Katz-Mark's book"The Collector's Encyclopedia of Majolica. It is most likely made by an American pottery between 1850 and 1900. The rounded body features a basket weave pattern glazed in semi-transparent brown. In the middle. Raised pink irises and green leaves stand in front of a cream-colored wooden plank fence. The collar features an anchor and chain motif, set against a background of ocean waves and glazed in the same brown as the body. The spout resembles either a large leaf or the prow of a ship—it's hard to tell—and the handle is slightly squared-off. The interior is cream. There is no maker's mark that I can see. ... moreThe glaze is crazed. As is typical for a glazed ceramic piece like this. Unfortunately, due to age and use, there are some flaws. Although some are minor, here is a detailed account: two chips on spout: 3/16"x5/16" 1/8"x1/4" two chips in glaze on spout: 1/16"x1/16" and a 1/8"x3/16" three 1/16"x1/8" shallow chips in glaze at top of handle- one 1/16"x1/16" chip in glaze on a flower petal- one 1/4"x3/8" chip on bottom rim- one 1/16"x1/16" chip in glaze on underside- three very thin hairline cracks on the bottom that appear to be limited to the glaze and do NOT go through- mottling of interior cream glaze There are two flaws that can be attributed to the manufacturing process: area of missing glaze under one flower- creases in clay on inside of spout Despite these flaws it's still a beautiful and collectible piece. Please see photos for further info on condition. Approx dimensions: Height 7-3/4" Diameter of body 4-3/4" Width including handle 6" From my clean. Smoke-free home. Shipping cost includes insurance.

1800s 19th Century Antique Majolica Pitcher Floral - Dogwood Blossoms and Branch
Here is a wonderful piece of very old majolica. I know very alittle about it except I picked it up at an estate sale. The posessions were of a 93 yr old woman. Even in its present condition it was obviously cherished. The pitcher a crack from the rim tracing down towars the hanlde. The item is very stable and I've picked it up by the handle many times to ensure it's stability. There is also a chip along the rim(see picture) that is also very old. There are some places missinging glaze; however. I believe this is original to the item and not damage- you be the judge. It measure 6 1/2" in height and is 3 3/4" in diameter at the rim. The handle itself is 4" in height. There are no manufacturer marking on the bottom. I'm not well versed in Majolica so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and. I will ... moredo my best to answer them for you: Thanks for Looking and Happy Bidding! 0fe.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk%601d70f%2B%3E0fe-1489996f7b9-0x105-
