This auction is for a Fantastic 7-Piece Victorian Wash Bowl and Pitcher Chamber Set made of Semi-Porcelain by Anchor Pottery of Trenton. New Jersey in a Pansy Design. The set is Strikingly decorated with Colorful Pansies Bursting in Purple and Yellow and Green against a white semi-porcelain background and hand. Sponge-applied gold accents throughout. I have sold many Chamber Sets. But this one stands out because of, among other things, its brilliant colors and decorations. Vintage Anchor Pottery Trenton, NJ Semi Porcelain water basin pitcher
This is a vintage style water basin pitcher. I do not know the exact age of this piece. The paint is starting to crackle and the gold around the rim and on the handle has some spots where it has faded off. On the bottom of the pitcher there is a water stain. Anchor Pottery Antique Floral Cream Pitcher
This is a lovely piece of Anchor Pottery produced out of Trenton. NJ. It is in good shape with no cracks or chips. The paint is lovely however is missing a bit of the gold trim in spots. It just seems to give it extra character though. This is a cute little creamer pitcher that is about 4 inches high. I always find these pieces to be pretty for serving creamer with coffee and dessert or to place on the table with sauces to add some interest to my table setting. Vintage Wash Bowl and Pitcher Dresser Set, Anchor Pottery Trenton NJ Blue/ White
Up for sale is an antique Anchor Pottery Wash Bowl and Pitcher Set. This pottery company was located in Trenton. New Jersey. It was later purchased by Stangl. The pitcher and bowl are in very good condition. There are just a couple tiny flea bites on the edges. The two small vases have chips at the base, but the other sides display very well. This set is made of semi-porcelain. It is large and very sturdy. The bowl measures almost 16 inches in diameter with a height of 5 inches. The pitcher has a height of 11 inches and is 11 inches from handle to spout. The small bowl measures 5.25 inches in diameter by 2.25 inches in height. It has a ring inside so that the soap is raised for drying. This piece bears the Anchor Pottery hallmark. The rest of the pieces are unmarked. Up for sale we have an Anchor Pottery water pitcher. This is a white pitcher with gold and blue color accents as well as a floral pattern on both sides of the pitcher. There is crazing all over this pitcher. It appears that there was a chip in the top rim of the pitcher but has been somewhat repaired. There are no other chips or cracks in the pitcher. This vintage water pitcher is marked Anchor Pottery with the anchor icon. J.E.N. and Semi-Porcelain as shown in photographs. This is a lovely water pitcher from Anchor Pottery. Trenton, NJ. I believe this is early 1900's and may have had an accompanying basin. Design featuring pink poppies on front and back. The background color is an ivory color. The top edges are still lightly spattered in gold and the handle is so pretty and ornate.this is a substantial pitcher. Measurers 10 1/2" high and 10" across from spout to handle. There is the slightest of chips on the front of the spout that you can see in photo 2.no cracks. There is some crazing. But really very little for it's age. This is a beautiful piece of pottery that would be a perfect centerpiece with fresh flowers.of course place a jar inside to hold the water and flowers ... moreas you do not want to damage the semi-porcelain.
