Here is a Vintage Brides Basket W/Bowl. The basket is Quadruple Plate and is by Pairpoint Mfg. Co. The Bowl is a peach like color and white with gold. I could not find a maker on the bowl but it is in excellent condition no chip's or crack's and display's very well. The basket is tarnished has a little bend to it and has scratches. I have no idea if these 2 go together but they look very good together and display very well. The bowl measure's 3 1/4" deep and is 9 3/8" across. The basket with handle up is about 12 1/4" high and the inside part where the bowl goes is 9 3/4" x 9 1/8" I'm no expert on this but will answer any questions the best I can.Sold as is. Vintage silver-plated brides basket. Swing handle. Pedestal. Little to no wear to silver-plate. Monogram on handle. Ornate. Beautiful luster. About 4 1/2 inches from bottom to bowl rim. With the handle up it measure about 11 inches total height. About 12 inches in diameter. It has no stamp of manufacturer. 929-z has been etched on the under side of the base. I see no dents or places where the silver is worn. There is a slit about a 1/4 of an inch on the base that can be seen on the underside. See pictures added. Thanks for your interest. Estate purchased. This silverplate brides basket is deserving of the finest glass insert. Fully marked as pictured. Circa 1880-1900. I noticed no dings. Dents or monograms. Stands 13 7/8" high x 13 3/4" wide. The diameter(where the glass insert would set) is 3 3/4" 91.33mm) Wonderful vine and floral design with a nude woman with long flowing hair on the base. Nice patina. Does show some old polish within some of the detail itself. Any cleaning will be left to the next owner. All you can say is WOW offered for sale is a RARE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BRIDES BASKET HOLDER from the late 1800's. The silverplated frame measures 11 inches wide and is 11 inches tall to the top of the handle. The area where the foot rim of the bowl would sit measures 4 inches across not including the flared rim which would be 4& 3/4 inches across. The frame made by the Derby Silver Company. The has a little bit of everything going on. It has 2 cherubs supporting the handle. There are 2 daisy as well as leaves and cherries. The silverplate looks to be worn. There is some slight bending to the ruffled plate attached to the bun feet. There is 3 inch seam split where the bottom plate attaches to the pedestal very minor and could be repaired. There is leaf that came off the front which we have and can be reattached. There is some scratching ... morewhere the bowl sits. Offered for sale is a great ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 22 KART GOLD WASH over SILVERPLATE BRIDE'S BASKET HOLDER from the early 1900's. The holder is nicely detailed with 4 cupids holding up the metal rim. The frame measures 8& 3/4 inches wide by 2& 3/4 inches tall. The measurement where the bowl sits is 8& 5/8. The 22k gold finish is worn off the cherubs but they look like they will polish up silver. A very nice contrast to the gold plating. I can not find a makers name on this piece but it is well made. A great piece to grab even if you don't have a bowl yet. Antique DERBY SILVERPLATE BASKET Ornate Embossed Brides Vintage 1232 Victorian
Derby silver plate basket This is a beautiful. Highly ornate handled basket that displays excellently on its own or would be suitable for fruit or a flower arrangement. This is a nice sized piece and measures 14" tall and 9.75" x 7.75" The bottom is marked Derby Silver P Co International S Co 1232. The basket is six sided. The large panels have the same ornate English countryside design on each side. The smaller panels below have alternating scenes with a man and woman. I have not found any damage or dents to the basket. I have not polished it. I personally prefer the slightly aged patina that it currently exhibits. Especially given the pattern on the basket. Vintage Heisey SilverPlate Brides Basket with Scalloped Sawtooth Glass Bowl~Nice
For your consideration is an elegant Vintage Heisey Bridal Basket. It's uniquely ornate. The basket is made of a silver plate vine with leaves entwining the base. The handle is embellished with flowers and leaves. There is wear to the top leaf on the left of the basket(please see our pictures. The glass bowl is scalloped with sawtooth edging. It has a very small minute chip on the top of one saw tooth. Please see picture#8. The basket is 9" tall at the top of the handle. 4 1/4" tall from the base, 10 1/4" across. Vintage Wilcox International Company silver plate bride's basket. This is a beautiful. Highly ornate handled basket that can be displayed with flowers, fruit or all on its own. This is a nice sized piece and measures 16-1/2" tall x 11" x 8-1/2" The bottom is marked Wilcox S.P. International S Co 814. The basket has a fluted edge and has a pedestal looking base. There is an ornate floral design on both sides of the basket and on the handle. Very solid piece weighing 2 pounds 3 ounces. I have not found any damage or dents to the basket. Vintage 19th Century Reed& Barton Pressed Glass and Silverplate Brides Basket. This is a beautiful and rare piece. This brides basket sits on a Reed& Barton frame. 3660 and is signed"Mf'd and plated by Reed and Barton" It does not carry any other makers marks or symbols, which dates this piece to the late 1800's- early 1900's as after 1928 Reed and Barton added symbols to their makers mark. The glass is also signed"Reed and Barton" in raised letters and is original to the silverplate pedestal and has the same matching flowered design. There are various scenes on the glass of cherubs riding various carriages, dancing, etc. The overall height is 9 1/4 inches tall, the glass basket is 9 1/2 inches in diameter. The base has no flaws. The glass itself has a small chip and flea bite on the rim. please take ... morea good look at the photos) and a small chip to the underside glass"foot" that inserts into the pedestal(obviously this cannot be seen when the two pieces are put together) This is a lovely example of Reed and Barton craftsmanship and is quite rare. Vintage Silverplate brides basket from Meriden B. Co. 1849 4130-1. This basket has dragonflies. Butterflies and flowers. There is an inscription on the inside of the handle which reads"1902 To Mac from Grandma Carter 1910" It looks well cared for but has some light pitting inside. 10" round and 5" high.
