This listing is for a two piece silverplate and glass brides basket bowl. The bottom of the silver plated holder reads Meriden Silverplate Co. 0719. As seen in the pictures. This piece stands about 7 1/2" high to the top of the glass bowl portion and measures 10 1/4" across the top rim. The silverplate holder is very ornate, with the handles resembling a branch with birds resting on them. A bird pattern is also repeated just above the basefoot. The peg bottom glass bowl has a scalloped rim and a frosted flower(rose? and ribbon pattern. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a few white specks in the glass that are ... moreas made. Up for auction is a Victorian Brides Basket with a beautiful Green/White glass bowl. The silver plated holder has come un-soldered on one side. But it's not the actual handle it's the decorative piece. It does not affect the handle at all. The bowl has not cracks and the only imperfection I've found was on the inside and it looks like it might have been made that way. It measures approx 10"w x12" t. This is a very beautiful piece. We are pleased to present this Victorian era Bride's Basket for your consideration. Made of Silverplate. The piece features an unusual Crowned Heads decoration around its ornate rim. The handle that once went over the top of this ... morepiece is missing(the holes where it connected are still visible) But the remaining Fruit Basket remains a charming and attention grabbing piece with a one-of-a-kind look. The Basket is 3-3/4 inches high and about 12-1/2 inches in diameter. Measured at the rim. The bottom of the base is 4-5/8 inches in diameter, and the Basket weighs 1 pound 13 ounces. There are two hand written marks etched into the finish. On the bottom, in the center, is what appears to be the numbers 247. To the side of the center section is another marking that reads Q5741. We have not been able to determine the manufacturer of this piece. The Basket has been polished and is quite shiny. But small areas of patina remain along with a few small spots of verdigris. Some light surface wear is found, but less than might be expected on a piece of this age. Other than the missing handle, there is no damage or repairs, and we rate the overall condition as very good(see pictures) This is a fantastic piece of Victorian Silverplate. Beautiful Vintage Silverplate Brides Basket W/Bowl!!!!
Here is a Vintage Brides Basket W/Bowl. The basket is Quadruple Plate and is by Pairpoint Mfg. Co. The Bowl is a peach like color and white with gold. I could not find a maker on the bowl but it is in excellent condition no chip's or crack's and display's very well. The basket is tarnished has a little bend to it and has scratches. I have no idea if these 2 go together but they look very good together and display very well. The bowl measure's 3 1/4" deep and is 9 3/8" across. ANTIQUE VERY RARE 1800'S FIGURAL BRIDES BOWL BASKET
This gorgeous quadruple silver plated figural stand was made by the Toronto Silver Plate Company between 1882 and 1913. It is marked"537" The hand blown Bride's Bowl has raised hand painted flowers on clear to cranberry glass. The figures are a gentleman bowing to his lady. Who is doing a curtsey. They have subtle gold accents. The silver stand is about 8" tall. The bowl is about 8.5" wide at the widest point. Overall, it's about 12.5" tall. The bowl has no chips or cracks that I can see. The silver stand has some minor pitting under the bowl, see photos. Some of the bolts holding the figures to the stand have been replaced and tightened. This beautiful antique is in remarkable cindition, considering it's age! It will make a wonderful addition to any collection.

This auction is for a lovely Kate Greenaway Figural Brides Basket with a Hobbs Brockunier Cranberry Satin Snow Storm Bowl. The Cranberry Bowl has white spatter. Oblong bowl, with a clear ribbon top on the ruffled rim with a satin finish and a ground and polished pontil, c.1880's. While Harry Northwood was working for Hobbs, Brockunier& Glass Co. he brought the technology and manufacturing expertise for many art glass bowls Hobbs produced. He probably incorporated this in to his Martin's Ferry operation. The bowl appears to me that it could be a product of either operation. The bowl is about 4`1/2" tall ~ 11-1/4" long, and 7-3/4" wide. The base is about 4" wide and 5" deep The sliver plate holder has a leaf and fruit design with the Kate Greenaway little girl sitting in the branches. The glass insert is in good condition with no visible cracks or chips and no staining of the glass. The shape of the bowl is unusual in that there are four indentions on the sides for the silver plate grape cluster to fit into. The bowl is original to the holder and measures about 8 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall. The insert stands 6 inches tall to the top of the grape cluster on the rim and 7 inches wide. The total height is 7 inches while the bowl is resting on the stand. No monograms or repairs Silver plate shows ware as shown in the pictures. This is a heavy tray weighing approx. 2&1/2 lbs before packaging. 27" circumference, 13" hieght, base on 4 legs 17&1/2" around, handle is 20" around side to side.The designs are clear,large flower in center,raised design on top of handle,Lovely dropped design around edge of bowl, pedestal base is engraved with circles of flowers, the 4 feet have cut out designs that continue around the bottom of base. Antique brides basket peachblow bowl by Stevens & Williams Victorian
This is a beautiful brides basket with an ornate quad plate frame by Wilcox Silver Plate Company. The frame is 8 ¾ inches tall and 9 ½ inches wide. The bowl was made by Stevens& Williams and is peachblow. The bowl is hand blown. Is 8 ¾ inches in diameter and 2 ½ inches high. It has an amber border. This set dates to the late 19 th century. The bowl is in excellent condition with no damage. The frame has no damage but it has lost some much of its silver as is common with quadruple plate.

Devil Satan face Reed & Barton silver-plated brides basket pedestal bowl compote
This is a vintage/antique Reed& Barton silverplate bride's cake basket. Some people refer to it as a compote. Footed dish, or pedestal bowl. The handle is movable. The bottom edge is stamped MF'D& PLATED BY REED& BARTON 4882. It's in very, very nice condition. The only thing I can see wrong with it are scratches along the top edge of the bowl. It has beautiful raised designs and strangely enough, there is an image of the devil or Satan in the center of the bowl. I have no idea why. It measures approximately 13" tall to the top of the handle. 10 1/4" wide, and the bowl is 5" off the table. PayPal only. This is a vintage Victorian. I believe Webb Glass peach blown bridal bowl and basket. The basket says it is, Made and Guaranteed by Meriden B Company, 1738. The basket measures 11 1/4" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter at the base. The bowl measures 11 3/4" in diameter. It has a clear opalescent glass rim and a semi-polished pontil on the bottom. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repair. It does have a couple of bubbles. The basket could use a polishing, but is otherwise in very good condition. It is listed in my store. The Serving Bowl is the only example I have had the pleasure to sell with a Blue Opaline Glass insert. In many years and I am sure is quite a Rare find indeed. The Basket Frame features very nice Grape and Vine designs with fancy feet and a lovely Bead pattern Bail Handle, which yes stays up on it's own for display. The Blue Opaline Glass Liner is the original to the frame and fits like a glove. The Outside is Satin Glass and the interior is glossy. The Basket is overall in very fine all original condition with a couple tiny splits in the frame which I am sure could easily be re-soldered and no dents or bends with the Glass Bowl showing wear scratches to the interior and some remnants of painted designs on the outside but no chips, cracks or repairs. This is a beautiful Brides Basket with a Frosted Smokey Blue Bowl. The base sits on four feet and has an extremely unique heart shaped design to the bail. We believe this piece dates 1850- 1899. The silverplate frame is 10 1/4” tall and 10 3/4” wide. The hand blown frosted glass basket is 3 3/4” tall and has a 9 3/4” diameter. The glass bowl is perfect. No chips or cracks. This is a beautiful Antique Brides Basket from the 1800's. The bottom basket is marked"Barbour Silver Co. Quadruple Plate# 247. It has a round platform circular bottom. With an embossed 3 d flower in the center. The basket has two metal bars which form into one midway, as the handle. There is a rope design, which is entwined around the top metal handle. This design has detailed berries embellishments. On each side of the handle are large detailed raised 3d leaves(5) Hanging from the leaves are two dangling detailed berries, giving the basket a completed fabulous look. The insert bowl is blown encased glass. The exterior is a milk white, the edges are crimped and ruffled, giving the bowl a look of opulence. The edges are a deep fushia color fading lighter as it descends into the bowl, turning into a creamy white color. Over the white ... morearea there are hand painted raised pedal, delicate flowers in a baby blue, and each dotted with pink centers. The finishing detail is cascading leaves and alternating scrolls, all done in fine gold detailing. This piece has minor flaws, age appropriate pitting on the silver, which also needs a polishing if so desired. The edge of the rim holding the glass insert has some bending, however it is not seen when the bowl is in place. Minor gold loss on some of the detailed banding in the center of the bowl, again this can be easily rectified. Overall, it is a fabulous piece of history to add to your décor. Thanks for viewing.

Gorgeous 19th Century Bridal Brides Basket, Antique Glass HP Bowl, Silverplate
Up for sale is a beautiful Victorian 19th century bride's basket with hand-painted cased glass fluted bowl and quadruple silverplated holder with ornate handle. The color on the upside of the bowl begins with a clear edge then flows from dark rose to pale pink and very pale pink in the center. Yellow dots. Flowers, and scrollwork and blue and white flowers are all handpainted: You can feel the depth of the paint, which is in very good condition. Silver color leaves also grace the bowl, but some of this paint seems to have faded. I see no chips or cracks in the glass bowl. There are minute spots of what looks like ash on the all-white bottom; there is also a bubble in the finish of the upside that looks and feels a bit like a pimple and is about the size of a pencil eraser; these are from the manufacturing process done more than one hundred ... moreyears ago. The quadruple silverplated basket was made by the New Amsterdam Silver Co. and has the number 2971 engraved in the bottom; the number 5446-x is etched into the bottom. The basket is in good condition but is in need of polishing. The base appears to have most of its silverplate intact with the exception of the inside of the base where the bowl sits; some parts of this have a greenish cast. The handle seems to have some silverplate loss as well as some minute pitting. All in all this is a wonderful piece for something that could very easily be 115 years old. Bowl is 11" in diameter at its widest. 3" high, and 3 1/2" across the base. Holder is 12 1/2" at its widest and 13" high. Please ask questions. Victorian Brides Basket Silverplate Quadruple Plate Clear-Cased Peach Glass Bowl
For sale is a beautiful brides basket bowl sitting in an ornate handled quadruple silver plated stand. The fluted bowl is a gorgeous peach color all over except for a clear cased upper edge; there may be a peach case on top of the clear case or it's an optical illusion. I can't tell which. It's in excellent antique condition: No chips, breaks, cracks, or repairs. I do see bubbles and a couple of minute rough spots in the glass, all part of having been manufactured over a hundred years ago; there are scratches in the glass, but because I can not feel them, I think they might literally be IN the glass. The bowl is unmarked and has a smoothe pontil with one rough spot. It measures 8 1/2" across the top, 3 1/2" tall, and 3 7/8" across the base/foot. The stand is incredibly ornate with ribbed handles that form a knot ... moreat the top and have one strawberry and three sets of three leaves on each side. The handles connect in four places to a 6 3/4" round base base with a 4" diameter hole that receives the base of the bowl. The base has a ribbed bottom lip and four ornate feet. The stand is 12" at its widest and 10 1/2" tall. The base is marked, but unfortunately it is only a partial mark: Top. or Tor. Company Quadruple Plate 2 10. It is tarnished, but I believe most of the silverplate is present; it should polish up nicely. There are some scratches inside the basket where the bowl sits, but the stand is in otherwise excellent conditon. This will make a nice addition to your collection. This is an antique Victorian. I believe Webb Glass peach blown bridal bowl and basket. The basket is not marked. The basket measures 11" tall x 5 11 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" in diameter at the base. The bowl measures 9 5/8" in diameter. It has a burgandy opalescent glass rim and a rough pontil on the bottom. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repair. This is a gorgeous antique Victorian bride's basket compote bowl.the quadruple silverplate stand. Designed in the nature of the 1800's Aesthetic Movement, was made by the Meriden Britannia Company and it is signed, Meriden B. Company" on the bottom edge along with a number 241. The Early American Pressed Glass bowl that must have been designed for this stand precisely(or the stand for the bowl) is a clear glass, rounded canted straight sides with indentations on four sides.which line up with the indentations in the base of the stand. I do not know who the maker of the bowl was and the design appears to be some variation of a waffle or cane pattern with a waffle bottom. It measures between 9 1/2" 9 3/4" across the top and is 2 5/8" deep. For auction a super nice small Silverplate Victorian Brides Bowl Holder! Stands approx.8 3/4" tall it is approx. 8 1/2" at its widest point and the opening in bottom is a little over 3" in diameter! There is an old repair we have pointed out in one of the photos! The handle is very sturdy! Other than that no damage! Still retains a good amount of silver! Company standing 11.5 inches tall to the top of the handle. 5.5 inches tall to the rim and 9.5 inches wide. The center o the basket features flowers and leaves which look like Geraniums but not sure. There are no monograms or dents and the silver plate is shiny as shown in the pictures. There are no repairs to the handle or base and handle stands in the up position or can be lowered. We will combine shipping when ever possible. Please remember that our items are mostly Victorian and always used. Never new or in new condition. They have sat on many tables, held by many loving hands and lived an eventful life. They may have flaws which is part of the character of each individual Victorian or vintage ... moreitem.
