This listing is for a two piece silverplate and glass brides basket bowl. The bottom of the silver plated holder reads Meriden Silverplate Co. 0719. As seen in the pictures. This piece stands about 7 1/2" high to the top of the glass bowl portion and measures 10 1/4" across the top rim. The silverplate holder is very ornate, with the handles resembling a branch with birds resting on them. A bird pattern is also repeated just above the basefoot. The peg bottom glass bowl has a scalloped rim and a frosted flower(rose? and ribbon pattern. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a few white specks in the glass that are ... moreas made. There are also a few air bubbles and straw marks in the glass that are as made. The silver plate frame has no dents and no splits. Up for auction is a Victorian Brides Basket with a beautiful Green/White glass bowl. The silver plated holder has come un-soldered on one side. But it's not the actual handle it's the decorative piece. It does not affect the handle at all. The bowl has not cracks and the only imperfection I've found was on the inside and it looks like it might have been made that way. It measures approx 10"w x12" t. This is a very beautiful piece. We are pleased to present this Victorian era Bride's Basket for your consideration. Made of Silverplate. The piece features an unusual Crowned Heads decoration around its ornate rim. The handle that once went over the top of this ... morepiece is missing(the holes where it connected are still visible) But the remaining Fruit Basket remains a charming and attention grabbing piece with a one-of-a-kind look. The Basket is 3-3/4 inches high and about 12-1/2 inches in diameter. Measured at the rim. The bottom of the base is 4-5/8 inches in diameter, and the Basket weighs 1 pound 13 ounces. There are two hand written marks etched into the finish. On the bottom, in the center, is what appears to be the numbers 247. To the side of the center section is another marking that reads Q5741. We have not been able to determine the manufacturer of this piece. The Basket has been polished and is quite shiny. But small areas of patina remain along with a few small spots of verdigris. Some light surface wear is found, but less than might be expected on a piece of this age. Other than the missing handle, there is no damage or repairs, and we rate the overall condition as very good(see pictures) This is a fantastic piece of Victorian Silverplate. VICTORIAN REED AND BARTON CENTERPIECE BOWL FLOWER BRIDES BASKET GRAPES. LEAVES Search Up for auction is a Victorian center piece bowl or basket in good condition by Reed and Barton from the late 1800's. The glass insert is in good condition with no visible cracks or chips and no staining of the glass. The shape of the bowl is unusual in that there are four indentions on the sides for the silver plate grape cluster to fit into. The bowl is original to the holder and measures about 8 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall. The insert stands 6 inches tall to the top of the grape cluster on the rim and 7 inches wide. The total height is 7 inches while the bowl is resting on the stand. No monograms or repairs Silver plate shows ware as shown in the pictures. Lovely Victorian bowl. insurance is included in the cost of shipping. The basket is a beauty standing 10.5 inches high to the top of the handle. 4.75 inches tall to the top of the point of the glass insert, 12 inches long and 8.25 inches measuring from front to back at handles. The glass insert is in good condition but does have a chip on one of the end points as can be seen in the last picture. No other visible defects in the glass. The silver plate has no monograms or repairs but does show ware as shown in the pictures. insurance is included in the cost of shipping. This is a beautiful brides basket with an ornate quad plate frame by Wilcox Silver Plate Company. The frame is 8 ¾ inches tall and 9 ½ inches wide. The bowl was made by Stevens& Williams and is peachblow. The bowl is hand blown. Is 8 ¾ inches in diameter and 2 ½ inches high. It has an amber border. This set dates to the late 19 th century. The bowl is in excellent condition with no damage. The frame has no damage but it has lost some much of its silver as is common with quadruple plate.

This is a vintage Victorian. I believe Webb Glass peach blown bridal bowl and basket. The basket says it is, Made and Guaranteed by Meriden B Company, 1738. The basket measures 11 1/4" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter at the base. The bowl measures 11 3/4" in diameter. It has a clear opalescent glass rim and a semi-polished pontil on the bottom. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repair. It does have a couple of bubbles. The basket could use a polishing, but is otherwise in very good condition. It is listed in my store. The Serving Bowl is the only example I have had the pleasure to sell with a Blue Opaline Glass insert. In many years and I am sure is quite a Rare find indeed. The Basket Frame features very nice Grape and Vine designs with fancy feet and a lovely Bead pattern Bail Handle, which yes stays up on it's own for display. The Blue Opaline Glass Liner is the original to the frame and fits like a glove. The Outside is Satin Glass and the interior is glossy. The Basket is overall in very fine all original condition with a couple tiny splits in the frame which I am sure could easily be re-soldered and no dents or bends with the Glass Bowl showing wear scratches to the interior and some remnants of painted designs on the outside but no chips, cracks or repairs. Dec. 19, 71. We believe the date to be 1871. The basket features angels or putti balancing the bowl on the basket on there wings and a finial on the top of the handle which appears to be a cat. The basket stands 15 inches tall to the top of the finial and 8.75 inches tall to the rim. There are no monograms or repairs and the design is excellent. Antique Victorian Eagle Silver Co. Silverplate Brides Basket and Fancy Bowl
For sale is an elegant Victorian period ornate-handled quadruple silver plated brides basket holder with a clear fancy glass bowl. The basket is in good condition: There are no dents or damage. Other than some scratches where the bowl and basket have been in contact for more than a hundred years. The silver plate seems to be all there; it's tarnished but should polish up well. The basket is 9" high and 9 1/4" at its widest. The bowl has an intricate design, including four rows of diamond shapes that have a gold cast to them. The bowl is 8" across and is in excellent condition: No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. Inside the bowl behind the top row of gold diamonds looks like hard water stains; however it's all the way around, so it I believe it must have been part of the manufacturing process. Victorian Brides Basket Silverplate Quadruple Plate Clear-Cased Peach Glass Bowl
For sale is a beautiful brides basket bowl sitting in an ornate handled quadruple silver plated stand. The fluted bowl is a gorgeous peach color all over except for a clear cased upper edge; there may be a peach case on top of the clear case or it's an optical illusion. I can't tell which. It's in excellent antique condition: No chips, breaks, cracks, or repairs. I do see bubbles and a couple of minute rough spots in the glass, all part of having been manufactured over a hundred years ago; there are scratches in the glass, but because I can not feel them, I think they might literally be IN the glass. The bowl is unmarked and has a smoothe pontil with one rough spot. It measures 8 1/2" across the top, 3 1/2" tall, and 3 7/8" across the base/foot. The stand is incredibly ornate with ribbed handles that form a knot ... moreat the top and have one strawberry and three sets of three leaves on each side. The handles connect in four places to a 6 3/4" round base base with a 4" diameter hole that receives the base of the bowl. The base has a ribbed bottom lip and four ornate feet. The stand is 12" at its widest and 10 1/2" tall. The base is marked, but unfortunately it is only a partial mark: Top. or Tor. Company Quadruple Plate 2 10. It is tarnished, but I believe most of the silverplate is present; it should polish up nicely. There are some scratches inside the basket where the bowl sits, but the stand is in otherwise excellent conditon. This will make a nice addition to your collection. This is an antique Victorian. I believe Webb Glass peach blown bridal bowl and basket. The basket is not marked. The basket measures 11" tall x 5 11 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" in diameter at the base. The bowl measures 9 5/8" in diameter. It has a burgandy opalescent glass rim and a rough pontil on the bottom. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repair. It does have a couple of bubbles. The basket could use a polishing, but is otherwise in very good condition. It is listed without a reserve. Designed in the nature of the 1800's Aesthetic Movement, was made by the Meriden Britannia Company and it is signed, Meriden B. Company" on the bottom edge along with a number 241. The Early American Pressed Glass bowl that must have been designed for this stand precisely(or the stand for the bowl) is a clear glass, rounded canted straight sides with indentations on four sides.which line up with the indentations in the base of the stand. I do not know who the maker of the bowl was and the design appears to be some variation of a waffle or cane pattern with a waffle bottom. It measures between 9 1/2" 9 3/4" across the top and is 2 5/8" deep. For sale is an ornate Victorian probably-quadruple silver plated bride's basket/stand with an exquisite ruffled cased-glass bowl. The pink glass starts dark at the ruffle and flows down to a pale pink at the center. The underside is white. This unmarked bowl measures 10 1/4" across at its widest. 3 3/4" at its tallest, and 2 7/8" across the foot, which has a ground, indented pontil. It is in excellent antique condition: No cracks, breaks, chips, or repairs; just some bubbles, pimples, a couple of slightly rough areas where the glass was bent for the sections of low ruffles, and 3 tiny spots of white color in the pink, all signs of having been manufactured more than a hundred years ago. This is NOT one of the Fenton reproduction bowls. The stand is unmarked; it stands 7 1/4" at its highest, 7 4/8" at its widest, ... moreand 3 3/8" across the inner part where the bowl sits. The bowl sits way down into the basket portion. The holder has three ornate scroll work columns that connect the basket to the base. A beautiful dove is attached to the stand between the columns. Victorian Pink Ribbed Glass Brides Bowl in a Pairpoint Quadruple Plate Basket
For sale is an ornate Victorian Pairpoint quadruple silver plated bride's basket with an exquisite ruffled ribbed-glass bowl. The pink glass is ribbed on the underside of the ruffle and is smooth white glass from the sides down to the center. This unmarked bowl measures 10 1/2" across at its widest. 3 1/8" at its tallest, and 3 7/8" across the foot, which has a ground, indented pontil. It is in excellent antique condition: No cracks, breaks, chips, or repairs; just some bubbles, pimples, and a couple of small slightly rough areas where the glass is ribbed, all signs of having been manufactured more than a hundred years ago. The basket is marked: Pairpoint Mfg Co Quadruple Plate 4754. It stands 12 1/2" at its highest, 11 1/4" at its widest, and 4" across the inner part where the bowl sits. The holder has ornate ... moretwisted metal, leaves, and finial at the top and top/sides of the handle; the lower handles have vines, berries and leaves, and attach to the base in four ball-ornamented spots. The foot is incredibly ornate with pierced and relief designs and four feet(two each of two designs) The holder is in wonderful antique condition: The silver plate needs polishing but it appears to be mostly intact; there appears to be a 3/4" section of leaves missing on the lower portion of one side of the handle and a 1/2" section on the upper portion of the other side of the handle, but this does not detract from the basket's wow-power. There is a little bit of"play" where the bowl sits in the basket. A beautiful, quality artifact from the Victorian period. CONDITION NOTE: All of our items are vintage or antique. Here is an old antique silverplated Victorian Glass wedding bowl stand or basket made by EG Webster + Son. It is marked quadruple plate and number 110. It appears in good shape structurally. I can't tell for sure but the holder section in the center has 3 weld-like marks where it was reattached to the stand at some point. It has some small dents right in this area on the outside also. Otherwsie it seems okay. It all needs to be replated of course. The center round section measures 3 15/16 in inside diameter. Its about 7 1/4 inches tall at the handles. RARE Victorian French GREEN OPALINE Glass SILVER PLATE Brides Basket Bowl ROSES, This is a rare circa 1890 French green Opaline glass bowl in the original silver plated repousse basket. The basket features filigree roses with branch and leaf design and three scroll feet. The handle has a central flower and is attached tightly. There are no breaks or repairs with just a slight bend to the metal which I did not try to straighten. The French Opaline glass bowl is a rare bell shape and has no chips cracks or repairs. Measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and about 6 inches tall including the handle. This is a beautiful victorian piece. See my other opaline listings and combine your shipping costs. I managed to soak this basket to dissolve this thick residue, and reveal it's true motif(if you are interested in viewing photos of this piece's original condition, I would be more that happy to enclose photos) There is also an small area to the inner top bowl surface that has cracks(see photos#7& 8 for this detail) however, poses no issue to fall apart, and lastly, a ding at the underside rim(see photo#9) and lastly, there at the underside base shows signs of repair(see photo#12 for this detail) The glass basket bowl hides the cracks to the inner bowl area extremely well! Up for auction is a beautiful Victorian Berry or Fruit Bowl. Also known as a Brides Basket or Brides Bowl or Victorian Centerpiece bowl. This bowl is made from a beautiful rose or pink opaline-type glass cased with white glass and edged with gold or yellow translucent glass. This glass is sometimes referred to as peachblow but it is not. The edge of the bowl is ruffled and crimped. The bowl measures about 10" across at the widest and about 6" across at the narrow. It stands about 4" tall. The base of the bowl is 4.25" across at the foot. The bowl sits in a gorgeous silver plated frame made by the Middletown Plate Co. This frame is in wonderful condition. With almost no loss to the plate that I can see. There is residue from old lacquer and some light tarnish, but it should polish up nicely. The frame for this piece is ... morespectacular. It encompasses an apple at the top, cherries with stems and grapes. The detail on this is so finely done that it is a work of art in itself. The frame stands about 14.5" tall and is about 8.5" wide. The span between the handle(s) is about 7.5" approximately 3" up from the base. The base itself is 4.5" wide at the opening. I do not know if the bowl is original to the base as there is some play in the fit, but it does fit perfectly into the frame and when in place it sits well into the base so that it looks like a perfect match. The elaborate frame is a perfect compliment to the understated, but beautiful bowl. There is no damage at all to the glass; no chips, cracks breaks or repairs. The frame is clearly marked"Middletown Plate Co. and"Quadruple Plate" with the number 765 impressed. It is also stamped"Hard White Metal" Victorian art glass bowls such as this were often paired with elaborate brides basket frames(as they are called today) made by companies such as Meriden. Wilcox, James Tufts, Derby or Webster. I do not know who the maker of the bowl is. This could be a piece by Thomas Webb or one of the famous makers of

Up for auction is a fantastic victorian silver plate figural brides basket by meridan silverplate co. No 7015 with a gorgeous cased bowl which is also marked with the numbers 1023/9 700. Silverplate basket is in excellent condition. Bowl does have an age crack which can be seen from the inside only. The crack is long and at one point in time some dark spots formed under the inside surface near it. There is also four figural feet on the silverplate bowl. This is part of an estate and the bowl& basket have been together a very long time. The crack can only be seen on the inside not from the outside. It can also be seen on outside bottom of bowl. Antique Victorian HP Glass Brides Bowl, Ornate Reed Barton Footed Plated Basket
For sale is an ornate Victorian silver plated bride's basket with an exquisite scalloped-edge. Enamel painted glass bowl. The the bowl is white inside with blue hand painted butterflies and pale brown leaves, and pink outside with enamel painted butterflies and floral motif. This unmarked bowl measures 9 1/4" across at its widest, 3 1/2" at its tallest, and approx. 6 1/2" across the foot, which has a rough, slightly indented pontil. It is in very good antique condition: No cracks, breaks, or repairs. However, there is a 1/2" shallow chip where a spot in the rim comes to a point(see last picture) it is noticeable, but does not detract from the beauty of the bowl. I see a couple tiny pits and some pimples in the glaze, signs of having been manufactured more than a hundred years ago. There is also what looks like a light ... morepartial coffee-cup stain in the bottom of the bowl(go figure) The basket is marked on the bottom rim: MFG& PLATED BY REED& BARTON 3930. It stands 13 1/4" at its highest, 9 3/4" at its widest, and 6 5/8" across the inner part where the bowl sits. The holder has ornate metal work at the top and sides of the handle, and figural birds where they attach to the basket. There are two more birds(front and back) on the basket and all four birds form the legs/feet of the holder. There is ornate relief work around the portion that holds the bowl. The holder is in wonderful antique condition: The silver plate needs polishing(and there is some polish on the holder) but it appears to be mostly intact; no other conditions to report. This is no marriage; a beautiful, quality artifact from the Victorian period. CONDITION NOTE: All of our items are vintage or antique. The picture makes the bowl appear orange. But it is actually beige. This unmarked petite bowl measures 7 1/4" across at its widest, 3" at its tallest, and 3 7/16" across the foot, which has a smooth, indented pontil. Each ornate foot has the"Pat. Apd. stamp. But I find no makers hallmark. The tropical bird with upraised wings is a terrific accent. The diameter for the base of a bowl is a hair under 2 1/2" From the rim of that to the perch is a space a hair under 3 1/4" and the overall width allotment for a bowl would be up to about 9" depending on its overall form. There are no dents. The place where the berry is behind the bird's tail feathers look like it may have once been soldered to the opposite side of the holder. There are three figural dolphins supporting the center ball and three figural dragons supporting the bowl frame. It measures 9 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" across the feet. The top inner diameter is 3 3/16" There is one shallow ding in the center ball and there is a very slight lean on the top. There is no damage and appears to have been made this way. Antique Victorian Pairpoint Quadruple Plate Brides Basket w/ Cut Glass Bowl
This Pairpoint bride's basket measures 11 1/4" in height and 10 1/4" at the widest part of the handle. The pedestal base has a diameter of 4 5/8" and will fit a bowl with a bottom rim of approx. 3 3/4" The basket is stamped on the underside- PAIRPOINT MFG CO. QUADRUPLE PLATE- 4732 1/2" and has the'P' inside of a diamond logo(pic#5) I am unsure of when this piece was made but Pairpoint advertised a very similar pattern on smoking accessories in 1908. There is some wear to the plate on the handle(pic# 6.7) The cut glass bowl has a diameter of 7 1/4" and measures 3 1/4" in height. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to the bowl; however, there is a small"flea bite" pic#10,11) on the side of the bowl and straw marks/ air bubbles can be seen in the base(pic#12) Both pieces will be packaged ... moresafely.
