This is a brides wedding basket made of silver plate. Made by Rogers and Smith New Haven Connecticut between 1865-1873. It is 12.5 inches long and 8.5 inches wide. It is 3 1/2 inches tall. The handle is 8 1/2 inches tall. It is a beautiful piece even though it has some worn spots inside the basket. It is stamped with the numbers 4567 and I can find no reference to these numbers.
