Offered is this remarkable silver plated fruit basket or footed bowl made in New Bedford. Massachusetts, by Pairpoint. The patent date is Jan. 31, 1893. The piece is numbered 1249. This rectangular footed basket has a movable handle that has a design of apples with foliage and stems. The center of the basket also features an apple branch with apples and leaves. The rim of the bowl is fluted with the corners folded up. A chased design appears on the outside of the four corners of the basket. A pierced border encircles the bottom of the basket. The feet featuresflowers with a ribbon or banner. This piece measures 9.75 inches long(25 cm) and 8.25 inches wide(21 cm) It stands 8 inches high(20.4 cm) with the handle extended upward and 2.5 inches high(6.4 cm) from the table top to the rim of the basket. This is one of the nicest silverplate baskets I have ever owned. Made by the pairpoint silver company in the later part of the 1800's it features raised cherries. Love birds, flowers and an ornate pierced rim, handle and feet. The silvering is in excellent condition(although it needs a better polish) The bottom reads PAIRPOINT MFG CO, QUADRUPLE PLATE, 1228. It measures 14" long by 10" wide and 9.5" tall. This will make a stunning addition to any collection!

This is a stunning Pairpoint Victorian Silverplated handled cake basket. It has three-dimentional cherries and leaves in the bottom. Figural bird handles and flower decorated feet. It is 11" across one way and 14"across the other way with the handles. With the handle raised it is about 11" high. It is in lovely condition with no dings, missing parts or other damage. The hinge on the handle works fine. To tell you the truth I don't know whether I had it resilvered or not since I have owned it a long time. The mark on the bottom reads: Pairpoint Mfg. Co. Sheffield Pairpoint Silverplate Footed Basket with Pierced Design - 01298
This is a lovely footed basket. It was made by Pairpoint. And has both a Pairpoint and Sheffield mark on the base. The basket is rather flat in design, with the edges folded or rolled up. It has a beautiful pierced design covering most of the body of the basket. The handle is made of 2 strands, that separate at the top. The handles can be laid flat against the basket, allowing it to also be used as a tray. It measures about 8" by 8" and is 2.25" when handle is flat, and 6.75" when it is up. There are actually 2 different Pairpoint markings on the base along with Sheffield, and the number 01298. It is in excellent condition with no damage.

Offered here is a gorgeous silverplate Bride’s Basket stand. By Pairpoint. Quadruple plate, model#2164. Basket/stand has lovely ornamentation. With a pair of swallows perched on the tops of the handles. Purchased the basket as found. No bowl, and am hoping someone will have a marriage for the base! The opening between the handles measures 9 inches from bird to bird. The circular bottom opening has a 4 ¼ inch diameter. Total length is over 11 inches and approximately 10 inches tall. Condition of basket base is very good. Some wear to plating, but much of it remains. There is also some silver polish residue left in crevices from a polish session long ago…left as found! This Phreshlyfound offering is for a antique quadrupleplate basket by pairpoint. Dated nov 1893 on the top. Nice floral design. Looks to be bent/tipped a bit at base. Listed as picked from an estate sale. Could use a some cleaning but should be a nice addition to someone collection. Measures 9 1/2" wide by about 11" tall to the top of handle when upright. Pairpoint Silverplate Pink Brides Basket
This is an extra pretty Brides Basket. The color pink in the glass really jumps out at you. I do not know the maker of the glass. Possibly Mt. Washington? The glass is in perfect condition. No chips, cracks or hairlines. The basket measures 13 inches H. by 12 inches W. There are some scratch marks on the frame of the basket. It looks like someone tried to clean the silver with some thing abrasive. This is the way the basket was when I bought it. The glass fits securely into the silverplate.

Pairpoint Silverplate Glass Baskets
I am not the most knowledgeable person about Pairpoint. I can only describe what I see. The basket is marked Pairpoint Mfg. Co. with the symbol. It is also marked quadruple plate. It has a number 4739 on the bottom. It is 9 1/2" long by 8 1/2" tall. Each basket is 5 3/4" wide at the top of the ruffle. They are 2 5/8" tall. There is a grape& leaf pattern etched into the outside of each bowl. The top edge of each ruffle is perfect, not a flea bite. There is some marking on the bottom of each bowl where it has been sitting in its slot for so many years. It is not visible unless you are holding the bowl up to the light. I lightly polished it so that the patterns could be seen more clearly. One of the handle welds has loosened at the base. It does not pull out but it would not be wise to carry it by the handle until a spot ... moreweld could be added. Please ask questions if you have any. I respond as soon as I see the question. This auction is for the most beautiful Pairpoint Cake Basket that I have ever seen. It came from an Estate Sale in CT. and was black when I bought it. When I polished it with silver cream. It revealed it's true beauty. It is footed, measures 10" across and has a scalloped edge. Each scallop has a raised leaf design.The feet also have leaves and in the center there are flowers and leaves. The handle folds down or stays upright. It has cut out flowers. The Quad. plate is in the same condition as the day it left the Pairpoint factory. Has P in diamond on bottom along with pairpoint Manu. Co. New Bedford. A lovely item from a bygone era. if you collect fine silverplate or Pairpoint in particular, this is a basket you shouldn't miss.

Pairpoint Mfg Co was in existence from 1880 till 1958 but did not make silverplate after 1929. Approximate Size: 10 inches by 4 inches tall and 10 inches high(to top of handle) Weighs 1 ¾ pounds. The basket is a little warped out of shape after a 100 years and that gives it some character to it and it needs to be gently bent back into shape but quite useable as is. Art Nouveau Cherub Pairpoint Silverplate Base Opalescent Pink Bride Basket/Bowl
Art Nouveau Pairpoint Silver silver plate figural cherub hobnail glass bride basket. Basket/Bowl is mint with no chips. Cracks or breaks. There are three small black spots that can be seen in the ribbon of the glass, photo 8. Bowl/Basket is pink with white opalescent; a ribbon of pink glass and milk glass. Bowl is hobnail with crimped ruffle. The stand is a silver plated figure cherub holding the basket/bowl with both arms. There is some plating wear but no cracks. Breaks, bends, dents or previous repairs. Great patina. The bowl/basket can be easily removed by unscrewing the top bracket from the bottom which passes through the glass hole in the bottom of the basket/bowl.
