This is a beautiful Silver Plated Brides Basket/ Fruit Basket. There is an impressed stamp on the bottom which reads: Pairpoint Mfg. Co. New Bedford, Mass, Quadruple Plate, Pat. Jan. 31, 1893 and number 1249. This item is 120 years old. A lot of embossing on this basket. Looks like a branch with apples on the inside bottom which are raised on the inside and punched in on the underneath. Branches, leaves and apples make up the handle which is hinged. 4 feet on which to stand with a gallery above the feet. Looks like the four corners which are indented in have an engraved design on them. This Basket is in excellent condition showing no wear on the silver. It looks like it was not cleaned ... morefor some time as it is tarnished and the pictures will probably show up dark on the computer. I am leaving it as it is for the new owners to clean themselves. It measures 10 1/4 inches long, 8 1/2 inches wide and stands 3 inches high, 8 inches high with the handle up. Absolutely Stunning Pairpoint Bride's Basket Quadruple Plate#B1210. Dimensions are: 11.5" in length. 7" wide and 3 inches high. Excellent condition. Lightly polished so I could determine condition. There is no loss of silver on this piece, in excellent condition, especially for its age. I believe this was made around 1910. There is one scratch on the inside but due to the quality of the quadruple silver plate, it does not go through to the base metal, see picture 10. Marked on the bottom, Pairpoint mfg. Antique Ornate Pairpoint Quadruple Plate Handled Brides Bride Basket
This is really a lovely old antique quadruple plate silver bride's basket. It was manufactured by the Pairpoint Mfg. Co. of New Bedford. I really love the beautiful designs that goes around the rim of the piece as well as inside of the basket-inside the basket there is a floral design. There is a lovely swing handle that has an ornate top. There are four ornamental style of feet that adds to the look. The silver finish has worn off from time over the years. It is approx. 9 1/2" tall from top of handle to bottom. It is approx. 10" across.

The number on the bottom is 1203. There is another number that looks like a driver’s license number for identification. The piece measures approximately 2" tall and 9 1/2" across. With the handle upright it measures approximately 9 1/2" The piece is in fair condition with tarnishing and wear and tear from use. Polishing may help. Please see pictures for condition and details. Victorian Pink Ribbed Glass Brides Bowl in a Pairpoint Quadruple Plate Basket
For sale is an ornate Victorian Pairpoint quadruple silver plated bride's basket with an exquisite ruffled ribbed-glass bowl. The pink glass is ribbed on the underside of the ruffle and is smooth white glass from the sides down to the center. This unmarked bowl measures 10 1/2" across at its widest. 3 1/8" at its tallest, and 3 7/8" across the foot, which has a ground, indented pontil. It is in excellent antique condition: No cracks, breaks, chips, or repairs; just some bubbles, pimples, and a couple of small slightly rough areas where the glass is ribbed, all signs of having been manufactured more than a hundred years ago. The basket is marked: Pairpoint Mfg Co Quadruple Plate 4754. It stands 12 1/2" at its highest, 11 1/4" at its widest, and 4" across the inner part where the bowl sits. The holder has ornate ... moretwisted metal, leaves, and finial at the top and top/sides of the handle; the lower handles have vines, berries and leaves, and attach to the base in four ball-ornamented spots. The foot is incredibly ornate with pierced and relief designs and four feet(two each of two designs) The holder is in wonderful antique condition: The silver plate needs polishing but it appears to be mostly intact; there appears to be a 3/4" section of leaves missing on the lower portion of one side of the handle and a 1/2" section on the upper portion of the other side of the handle, but this does not detract from the basket's wow-power. There is a little bit of"play" where the bowl sits in the basket. A beautiful, quality artifact from the Victorian period. CONDITION NOTE: All of our items are vintage or antique. Pairpoint Silverplate Pink Brides Basket
This is an extra pretty Brides Basket. The color pink in the glass really jumps out at you. I do not know the maker of the glass. Possibly Mt. Washington? The glass is in perfect condition. No chips, cracks or hairlines. The basket measures 13 inches H. by 12 inches W. There are some scratch marks on the frame of the basket. It looks like someone tried to clean the silver with some thing abrasive. This is the way the basket was when I bought it. The glass fits securely into the silverplate.

Huge BEETLE(2 1/4"x2" MOTH(2"x2 1/2" adorn the rim. The middle section includes birds. Spiders, spider webs, snail. butterfly, peacock, flowers, urn. It doesn't get any more AESTHETIC than this. All parts are present and intact. One side of handle has been soldered and glued. No bends. Dents or dings. At one time the entire piece was gold washed. Pairpoint silverplate basket. Quite a bit of wear and a couple of condition issues. No large chips or major plate loss. The base has been leaned on. So it is a little pushed down on one side which causes the basket to lean. The rim on the front(or back) is pushed in a little bit. Handle is fine and no other issues are apparent to me, but if you can think of a potential issue that might exist, please ask. Very nice scrolling arond the bowl edge and two floral engravings in the bowl. The diameter of the inner part of the bowl is 8" The basket stands 4 3/4" to the rim. The handle, from the hinges, adds about another 7" The basket weighs a bit over 1 lb 11 oz. The underneath ares have quite a bit of tarnish. This beautiful brides/flower basket is quadruple plate adding to the quality workmanship of this piece. I believe the stamp in the picture on the bottom says pairpoint with the P in the middle of the stamp. But after doing some research there is a fairpoint as well so please look at the picture closely and make the decision foe yourself. Antique Victorian Pairpoint Quadruple Plate Brides Basket w/ Cut Glass Bowl
This Pairpoint bride's basket measures 11 1/4" in height and 10 1/4" at the widest part of the handle. The pedestal base has a diameter of 4 5/8" and will fit a bowl with a bottom rim of approx. 3 3/4" The basket is stamped on the underside- PAIRPOINT MFG CO. QUADRUPLE PLATE- 4732 1/2" and has the'P' inside of a diamond logo(pic#5) I am unsure of when this piece was made but Pairpoint advertised a very similar pattern on smoking accessories in 1908. There is some wear to the plate on the handle(pic# 6.7) The cut glass bowl has a diameter of 7 1/4" and measures 3 1/4" in height. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to the bowl; however, there is a small"flea bite" pic#10,11) on the side of the bowl and straw marks/ air bubbles can be seen in the base(pic#12) Both pieces will be packaged ... moresafely. It is approx. 11 in wide by 4 in tall(without handle) and 13.5 in tall with handle. It has a fantastic design of storks. Spiders with webs and flowers all around the inside. It is in great condition with some tarnish and finish wear. Plate loss to the bottom and some overall scratching and marks. Buy it now before someone else beats you to it!
