Offered is a fantastic antique Simpson. Hall& Miller Silver Co. brides basket. This basket was made in the last half of the 19th century and was triple plated to ensure it's lasting beauty. The bowl is scribed with a fantastic fan design and the outer edge has a delicate starburst type design all the way around. The bowl measures about 8" across the inside and the base has a diameter of 5" The lip is 6 3/4" tall and the handle adds another 6 1/2 to the top of the finial which makes the overall height approx. 13" This is a beautiful example of 19th century workmanship.

A very nice old silver plate basket made by Simpson Hall Miller& Co. Wallingford Conn. The basket is in very good condition with only a small amount of dimpling in the bottom. Not obnoxious at all! It still has plenty of silver left and when polished is beautiful-right now it does need a better polishing. There is a swing handle and where it attaches to the basket it has grape clusters on the inside and applied roses on the outside. Around the inside of the basket are etched grape leaves and on each end at the top is another applied rose. The legs have ball feet on the bottom and curve up to a leaf pattern attaching to the basket. The basket measures approx. 11" x 5" not including the raised handle-with the handle raised it is approx. 10 1/2" tall. Fine Antique SIMPSON. HALL, MILLER Silverplate REPOUSSE BRIDES BASKET c.1880 From the estate sale we offer this absolutely stunning silverplate repousse brides or fruit basket made by Simpson. Hall, Miller& Co, Connecticut, USA in c.1880s. The basket is beautifully decorated with chased floral and scroll design, standing on scroll and floral footed base. It has a swing handle featuring bow on a top with laurel leaves. In the middle is engraved stylized letter B. Marks: Marked Simpson H.M. Co. Quadruple Plate 1318. Condition: Very nice condition. Some minor scratches from using, one pitting spot(just beside the engraved monogram) Measurements: 12" x 8 1/2" x 10" high(to the top of the handle) We have been selling art. Antique Vintage Silver Plate Dish Simpson Hall Miller & Co. 1351
A beautiful Simpson Hall Miller& Co. silver plate pedestal compote. Circa 1890's"Manufactured and plated by Simpson H.M. Co. USA 1351" Stamped on bottom Rim is about 2 inches wide with a beautiful detailed leaf and acorn pattern. Piece across is approx.10 inches in diameter. Height with handle is almost 10 inches. 3 inches without. Piece appears to be in good vintage condition with some light finish ware. I tried to provide a good amount of pictures so you can determine condition yourself as I am not a collector.
