It has a molded British registration mark on the base with the name"W.R. Cobridge Hampton" The registration mark dates the pattern to 1868. The jug measures 7 1/2 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches wide from spout to handle. It weighs 1 lb 8 oz(shipping weight 2 lbs) Condition: excellent. No chips or cracks. The twig handle feels a bit slick. This listing is for: a salt glaze jug manufactured by the Macomb Pottery Company of Macomb. Ill. They were in business from 1882-1941 so this is a very old piece. This jug is in fair condition. It's quite worn and shows it's age. There are many scrat ches. Chips and some areas where the glaze has come off and is missing(created small holes in the top glaze) The bottom has quite a lot of scratches and chipping. The name is very difficult to read but visible in the right li ghting. There is a crack going up the side of the ju g but doesn't affect it's structure. The white glaze on this jug indicates that it was not manufactured before 1895 and it is possible that it could have been manufactured as late as 1906. This jug is of the common shape, meaning it does not have a shoulder. This jug was molded in a two piece mold. This jug is almost 8 5/8" tall and the bottom is approximately 7 5/8" in diameter. 11" Tall Antique Lidded Redware Onion Bodied Jug
An Antique Redware Lidded Jug or Decanter. The piece is 11" tall with a 19 1/4" circumference bulbous onion body. At the base of the neck there are raised pin stripe lines. The jug is turned or look like it was. It has a darkened patina and delicate 3/32" thin sides. This beauty has two condition issues. There's a small 3/8"x 1/8" chip in the inside of the rim of the lid. And there's a hairline crack dowm one side of the neck both are pictured, and neither affect it's beauty or functionality. The neck is solid! This piece is in very good condition for it's age. I believe it was made between 1870- 1900, but I'm not 100% on that. I also don't know where it was made. I am offering for sale a large 2 gallon ovoid crock. It is 12" tall and 10" across the top.The center is 33" around and the bottom is 12" around. The ear handles are perfect. A very tiny chip on inside rim. It has a little discolorations and imperfections which are in the making of the crock. Has a 6" hairline crack which you can see on the pictures. There is a cobalt blue marking on the front. I do not know what it means. All in all it is a great looking primitive hand turned piece with lots of charm. Bottom is rough and may leak, but no holes. There appears to be no after-manufacture damage, but there is a large drip in the glaze and a scratch which appears on inspection to be underneath the glaze, since one cannot feel it. This is a primitive pottery pitcher that I have had in my possession for more than 30 years; it was my grandmother's. I do not know how long she had had it. There are not any markings on it to show who had made it. The glaze that was put on it was not evenly applied as seen in the photos; that is around the bottom of the pitcher. However. The top and the inside are evenly glazed. The pitcher stands 5" tall and is 5 1/2" in diameter.

There are a couple of tiny chips but nothing more. Which is unusual for an item like this, which dates to the late part of the 19th or very early part of the 20th century. It stands 10" tall and is 11" wide from the edge of the handle to the tip of the spout. The base diameter is 5" and it weighs a heavy 3.050kgs. I have two vintage whiskey jugs. Brown on top and beige on bottom. I cannot find any kind of markings on them. I think they may be 5 gallon judging by the measurements of others that look similar on eBay. They measure approximately 15 inches tall by a 10 inch diameter. Large and heavy. I have a 10 lb. scale and each is over on that so I am unsure as to the exact weight. Will update when possible. I cannot find any cracks, there is one chip on the botton of one jug as pictured.

This is from my uncles estate items. Great old crock I am selling just as it is as I am not sure if the the old strap was how it was carried or not. We are originally from West Virginia so imagine from the stories I have been told that this crock carried its share of moonshine LOL. For your consideration is an estate find. It is a 1 QT. size Antique Stoneware Pottery Two tone Whisky Jug or Crock with a finger handle. It measures about 9" tall x 5 1/2" in diameter It has no cracks or chips on the spout or the handle. there are three small(very small) chips around the top flat edge. The rest of the jug looks to be near perfect. It does not have a cork. I am not sure of the age. But someone more versed in old crocks and jugs may be able to provide me with more information. This one has a beautiful bright cobalt blue floral design on the front with the Norton stamp above it cobalted over. there is a little chip on the spout lip, a clump of kiln junk stuck to the bottom and an age spider in the glaze to the left of the design. It resembles Sexton Can Company wood tine jugs but this one appears to be handcrafted and looks like it could be from the mid to late 1800s. This fine early hand painted Chamberlain Worcester jug c.1810 has a cobalt and gilt spiral patern with a grisaille view of Erthig in Derbyshire England. The intricate detail and craftsmanship are superlative and this piece of porcelain is museum quality. It measures approx. 7" tall x 5" wide at the middle and has one very minor firing crack at the interior rim as shown in the photo.This is common in early English porcelain. This fine Sunderland lustre c.1860 jug depicts the Mariner's Arms on one side and it has a sailors poem on the other This is an extremely charming piece in the highly collectible mariner/sailor motiff. It measures approx. 5" tall by 6" long from rim to handle.
