THERE ARE NO CRACKS AND NO REPAIRS OF ANY KIND.THE PURPLE ARROW IN THE PHOTO ON THE SIDE OF THE JUG APPEARS TO BE A CRACK BUT IT IS IN FACT A DRIP. THE PURPLE ARROW AT THE MOUTH OF THE JUG SHOW THE TINY"FLEA BITE" CHIPS FROM BEING USED OVER THE YEARS. 11" Tall Antique Lidded Redware Onion Bodied Jug
An Antique Redware Lidded Jug or Decanter. The piece is 11" tall with a 19 1/4" circumference bulbous onion body. At the base of the neck there are raised pin stripe lines. The jug is turned or look like it was. It has a darkened patina and delicate 3/32" thin sides. This beauty has two condition issues. There's a small 3/8"x 1/8" chip in the inside of the rim of the lid. And there's a hairline crack dowm one side of the neck both are pictured, and neither affect it's beauty or functionality. The neck is solid! This piece is in very good condition for it's age. I believe it was made between 1870- 1900, but I'm not 100% on that. I also don't know where it was made. Antique Beehive 8” Tall Stoneware Jug
This small handled jug(half gallon. Possibly) is in very good condition. It has a semi-glossy glaze that covers the side and 1” into the lip interior. Besides minor scuffing, its only from-use blemish is a crack on the lip. During manufacturing, some glaze has dripped to the bare ring at the bottom of the jug. The provenance of the jug cannot be determined as it has no markings. It has a handmade quality in the irregularity of the cylinder and glaze drips along base. And approx. 3 1/2" wide, 6" from the front to the end of the handle. This jug has beautiful multi-color drip glaze. The interior sides are also glazed. He has a frothy mug on his left knee which he holds with both hands. He has an angry look on his face! There is no makers mark on the bottom. Up for Auction is an Antique Brown Ceramic Jug with a Unique Glazing Style.8 Inches Tall The jug glazing is rather unique. As you can see in the photos. T here's a band of no glazing around the top of the jug. Also. The glazing doesn't cover the jug completely. These unglazed areas might be mistaken for damaged areas, such as the mouth of the jug. It looks as though it's chipped, but there's just no glaze on it. You see that"style" all over the jug surface. There are a few minor chips on the jug. One is in the band where there is no glazing, it's about 1/4" wide. The other few chips are tiny. And are on the rim of the base, the largest being 1/8" I just noticed a tiny"ding" on the mouth of the jug. For sale is a beautiful Antique European Blue Decorated Stoneware Jug. 8 1/4 Inches Tall. And is unsigned. As discovered at a recent Bucks County Pa estate auction. This jug comes from an estate with Multi generations of wonderful antiques. I'm not a stoneware expert so please review photos. There are a couple of chips to the edge(see photo) which seem to happen prior to the glazing. A Rare 11" Tall Antique Torquay Lidded Redware Onion Bodied Jug
An Antique Torquay Redware Lidded Jug or Decanter. The piece is 11" tall with a 19 1/4" circumference bulbous onion body. At the base of the neck there are raised pin stripe lines. The jug is turned or look like it was. It has a darkened patina and delicate 3/32" thin sides. This beauty has two condition issues. There's a small 3/8"x 1/8" chip in the inside of the rim of the lid. And there's a hairline crack dowm one side of the neck both are pictured, and neither affect it's beauty or functionality. The neck is solid! This piece is in very good condition for it's age. I believe it was made between 1870- 1900, but I'm not 100% on that. I also don't know where it was made. Lovely Pair of Tall Antique Pottery Jug Water Bottles - Possibly German
You are bidding on a pair of signed antique pottery water or mineral water jugs in good condition! This pair of jugs was purchased at the long beach flea market a number of years ago. They each have a lovely patina. And are signed/stamped on the front with words and insignias in the center. One of them says"wasser" among other things) and the other looks like San-O-Selte_ but some of the letters are too hard to read. They are also marked just under the handle, with what looks to be 68 and 14, along with initials. They are beautiful decorative items. Please note that the reddish brown one has two nicks on it. These are shown in the pics(one at the base. One at the mouth) They measure approximately 12" H X 3 4/8" Diameter(base) Thanks for bidding!
