Awesome Vintage Brown/Cream 1/2 Gallon 8 1/2" Jug Pitcher. Has a wonderful almost salt-glazed finish to it. In Excellent condition with no cracks.Chips or scratches.The inside is the brown glaze. No markings on the bottom. You can feel the potters wheel marks on the bottom. Quite a heavy pitcher 4lbs 2oz. Would go great with any decor. Take a look at the pictures.

The following is stamped on the item: There are no maker mark's nor brand mark's.This is a antique/vintage whiskey/liquor jug and it's real heavy stoneware type material with a attached handle.It's a one colored jug it's a dark brown color.The complete jug has a very nice glaze coating but not on the bottom.This is a used item it has wear and light scratch/scuff mark's from normal use not abuse and has alot of life left ... morein it.There are some very small flea bite's type chip/nick's but nothing bad nor major chip's.No crack's,there is nothing glued on any of this piece,I do not no what quart size this is.For it's age this is still in great condition for a used item,the complete jug is very solid and heavy duty.On lip area there is two older chip/nick's,just below the lip area there is this small hole please look at my picture's you will see these mark's. The messurement's: it's about 9 1/4 inches tall/high and it's about 24 1/4 inches round in the middle and about 22 1/2 inches round on the bottom. I have two vintage whiskey jugs. Brown on top and beige on bottom. I cannot find any kind of markings on them. I think they may be 5 gallon judging by the measurements of others that look similar on eBay. They measure approximately 15 inches tall by a 10 inch diameter. Large and heavy. I have a 10 lb. scale and each is over on that so I am unsure as to the exact weight. Will update when possible. I cannot find any cracks, there is one chip on the botton of one jug as pictured.

Vintage Stoneware Crock Jug - 2 Tone Brown/Tan & Off White
Vintage stoneware crock jug. The jug is a 2 tone brown/tan and off white. The jug is approximately 11" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter(measured on bottom) tape measure shown in photos as well. The jug is not perfect and does have some wear but just adds to the character of the piece. I tried to capture all main wear in the attached photos. There are some chips along bottom edge. An area of crazing on one side, a couple stoneware imperfections on one side in the brown area(doesn't look to be chips- looks to be be from when made) I have found no cracks. The attachment of handle to the jug shows purpose and care. Two tendrils of glaze add character. This is a very well made piece. The jug is 12 inches tall. Vintage or Antique Stoneware Bottle-Greek? or Cyrillic? Symbols-Reddish Brown
Offered is this vintage or antique stoneware bottle with dark reddish-brown glazing. The bottle stands just under 12" high and is approx. 3 1/2" in diameter at the bottom. It has a very interesting incised circular mark containing what looks like Cyrillic or Greek lettering that I have not been able to identify(see next to last photo) The bottle is in very good condition. With no cracks and only one small old chip near the lip. There are numerous small spatters of what looks like cream-colored paint that may be removable but I have not tried. It sounds as if a small cork is inside the bottle when shaken. Please take a moment to look at the other items in my eBay store!

This adorable vintage brown stoneware jug music box is charming. Attractive and functional this jug is simply designed and features a functioning music box on the bottom of the jug witch plays"How Dry I Am" When wound the music will play whether jug is being used or set down. Vintage decals of an adorable Norwegian boy and girl have been added for decoration and show age appropriate wear. The jug is a dark chocolate brown with a high shine glaze. Has a simply handle and is in perfect condition with no visible seams. Measures 10 inches tall and 18 ½” round.
