Old Yellowstone Park Whiskey Hillbilly Jug. USA" marked on the bottom of Jug. Measures at 6 1/2" tall. Base is 4 1/4" across. The cork got pushed inside. And I can not remove it. Normal condition as used vintage with some crazing to the gloss. No breaks or repairs that I am aware of. Or can see. Some manufacture flaws. To the finish as normal with all crockery. The jug will be bubble wraped. And double boxed for shipping and usps insurance will be added.

Nice old one gallon whiskey shoulder jug from Western Stoneware Co. in Monmouth. IL. It has been used and shows some wear mainly around the bottom. There is a surface crack around the bottom(pic. 4) but the jug doesn't leak. The bottom edge has a couple of chips, see pics. 5-6. There are a couple of spots where the brown shiny glaze wasn't applied uniformly at the factory. I do not have a cork for this jug. Shipping allows for double boxing. This item is described as accurately as possible. If you receive the item and feel that the description is inaccurate in any way. Please contact me before leaving feedback. It weighs 13 ounces. I purchased this miniature jug at an Estate Sale and I don't know how old it is but it does look like it has some age to it. It looks like there is a cork stuck inside the jug along with some small pieces of paper/foil. I don't see any chips or cracks and I can see a little bit of crazing near the bottom. The lower part of the jug looks ... morelike a tan color and the upper area is a dark brown color. The tan color looks like it has some swirls of lighter tan colors. I lightly cleaned the jug with a little bit of water on a cloth. It does look like it could use a good cleaning. There is a little bit of a pink color on the section between the brown and tan colored areas; I don't know if it is a stain or not. This little Whiskey Jug will make a nice display piece! Vintage Miniature Stoneware "Moonshine" Jug-Kentucky Honey-Partial Label-USA
Offered is this miniature vintage stoneware"moonshine" jug. Marked"USA" on the bottom. The glazed beige and reddish-brown jug has a partial paper label. The label is white and red with black lettering. Partial words"Kentucky" And"Product" appear, and there is a"12" that I assume means the jug holds 12 oz or the contents weighs 12 oz. The top of the label probably had the company's name, but all that remains is"ent's" at the end and what looks like an"o" near the beginning. I was unable to find out the company name from the partial lettering. I was told the jug contains honey and that seems to be correct as it still feels like it is full of something heavy that does not slosh around. The jug sits about 5" high and is 3" in diameter across the bottom. It ... moreis in very good condition. With no chips or cracks. Most of the cork is still in place and I have not tried to remove it to check the contents. Based on the look of the label I would guess this dates to the 1950s-1960s. Maybe earlier.
