Vintage Stoneware Crock Jug - 2 Tone Brown/Tan & Off White
Vintage stoneware crock jug. The jug is a 2 tone brown/tan and off white. The jug is approximately 11" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter(measured on bottom) tape measure shown in photos as well. The jug is not perfect and does have some wear but just adds to the character of the piece. I tried to capture all main wear in the attached photos. There are some chips along bottom edge. An area of crazing on one side, a couple stoneware imperfections on one side in the brown area(doesn't look to be chips- looks to be be from when made) I have found no cracks. The neck looks to have been hand formed and the handle to be applied. Nice item. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

That is approximately 2 pints and measures at 7 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. It was made in Monroe. N.Y. This commemorative jug was for a" Wet Down" of 2 of the departments new fire trucks back in 1987. It has the name Claude on the bottom which I believe must have been a member of the department. From my grandmothers home back in the late 1950's is this ceramic stoneware cider. Moonshine jug. I remember this from way back when I was a kid. My grandmother passed in the late 70's and my mother kept it. It then went to my brother and he's had it till now. He's 63 years old so this little rascal is an oldie! It's always been in the house and shows little signs of wear or use. It's a very nice piece.

It is in good vintage condition with no cracks. It is being sold as-is meaning that it will need to be washed. It weights over 14 pounds.

Nice Vintage Antique 1 Gallon Wide Mouth 2-Tone Brown Glaze Stoneware Whisky Jug
This is a nice vintage brown glazed stoneware jug with wide mouth(3 3/8" across the top. Opening is 2 5/8" The glaze is fantastic; smooth, shiny, and even with large areas of yellow/green discoloration that happened during firing in the kiln. It is in excellent condition with absolutely no chips or cracks, just a few light scuffs and scratches. This piece displays beautifully. It measures 9 3/4" H x 7 1/4" in diameter. It will be packed securely and insured during shipping.
