It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Each end also offers curved crest rails. All three sections have beautifully tufted backs. Open padded arms lead to wonderfully carved hand rest with with incised carving and large drop finials. A shaped seat rail is supported by four turned legs and original brass capped casters. This fantastic sofa does have an old repair to one end which appears to be very sturdy and secure and one rosette at the left end of the sofa has some inlay loss. Thank goodness the repair is there or by today's standards it would have been in the dump and we would have lost this wonderful piece of art~just my opinion. The vintage cream colored fabric does show some ware on one corner and arm and needs a gentle cleaning. Please look closely and enlarge the pictures as all the detail cannot be shown in 12. Victorian Antique Sofa And Chair With Mother Of Pearl Inlays
We bought this set of Victorian furniture( couch and slipper chair) about 15 years years ago at an antique shop and it has been in our little used parlor ever since. It is NOT a reproduction and has original upholstery. We do not see the makers marks. However, they are both well made and very sturdy. They have pearl inlays in both pieces so we know they are a set. They are both upholstered in velvet. The sofa shows a little age on the arms in that regard. However the chair is all but perfect. The sofa may need some work on the spring support underneath. But is fine to use as is. Seller must remove. Or possible local delivery for the right sales price. Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Bugundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around ... morethe front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Up for auction is this beautiful Victorian Rococo loveseat with a magnificent. Highly carved walnut frame. It measures approximately 40 inches high and 66 inches at its longest point. The seat height is 16 inches. The seat measures 21 inches deep. If you measure from where the back of the frame where it touches the wall, to the front of the seat, it measures approximately 30.5 inches deep. It has its original 4 casters. The springs are in good condition. And there are no tears in the fabric. It does have a spot with some light staining, which we never noticed until we were checking it closely for the description. There's one repair on the end of the apron, which can be seen in two of our pictures. It is a 2 inch by 2 inch by 1.5 inch triangle. This is not part of the leg, only a part of the apron. No reserve. for auction is a very high quality pierced carved walnut sofa. it is a large one being 73 inches wide at the widest point. 43 inches tall, 16 inches to the top of the sitting surface, with a sitting surface 22 inches deep. again a very high quality, very well carved piece. the roses are wonderful as well as the grapes and other carved details. my pictures as usual are very poor quality and do not show the detail of the carvings, but they are quite well done. i am not sure of the maker, possibly belter, but there were many great cabinet makers in the 1850's to 1880's. the sofa is museum quality, near mint condition. no damages i can see or find, very solid and sturdy. it belonged to an elderly lady who was moving in with her daughter. i bought it nearly 15 years ago. she said the sofa had always been in their family, stating that it ... morebelonged to her grandparents and that it was old when she was a child. i expect it was made circa 1860 or 70. it has the original brass casters and rolls like a wagon. the elderly woman had it recovered about 5 years before i bought it, so the fabric is about 20 years old but is actually new. the fabric is perfect as far as i can tell. also, this sofa is the most comfortable antique sofa i have ever sat upon. i have never been fond of the fabric and have thought of having it recovered, but since i have 15 or 20 sofas, i really did not find it necessary to do that and i have just lived with the fabric that is on it. i hope someone sees it that likes this fabric. the wood work need cleaned and polished as i have done nothing with it since i bought it and i will be glad to do that for the new owner if they would like for me to do so. i stuck it in front of the fireplace to take pictures, but will have to move it back into a room that is just stuffed full of things anyway, a beautiful piece, but i don't need it. i paid 2500 for it when i bought it, but i am starting it at 2000. it may be picked up at my home or shpped at the buyer's expense. i expect shipping anywhere is th

Victorian Fainting Sofa Chaise Couch Opens Into A Bed 1800's Patent Antique
This is a true Victorian gem! I have never seen anything like it. It is a fainting sofa/ chaise that opens and turns into a bed. The back has hinges and is meant to go down. The cushion opens up and folds out to reveal a hand made mattress, additional legs and even a hand made pillow. The mattress and pillow are made of straw and horse hair stuffing and are very heavy and amazingly in great shape. All antique experts that I have asked about this piece agree that this is extremely rare and nothing like they have seen. It has a metal plaque on the bottom with date and patent number from Boston. I have been told that this is a museum quality piece and is worth several thousands. The upholstery is original navy velvet. The fabric is in good condition with no tears only some sun damage. This sweet antique settee was recently brought in to my shop in Pennsylvania. It is an eye popping double take kind of vintage furniture. Miniature settee measures only approx 27" tall and 30" long and was intended for a small child(too large for dolls I think) The wood is a chippy shelac of some sort of light wood. No reserve! Gorgeous Cameo or Medallion back antique sofa. C. 1870. This sofa was likely made in England, and is a mahogany frame. The wood is in excellent condition with only minor scratches and dings, nothing that is visible in any photos. The upholstery has been recently redone by a professional specializing in this period; any light spots(orbs) in the photos are the photos themselves, not the fabric. I also have quite a bit of the fabric left over which I am including in this auction; I was told that it would be enough to reupholster a small to medium sized chair. I am happy to measure it for you upon request. The sofa has four wheels at the bottom of the legs. And I am unsure but believe they are original also. ONE OF A KIND 88" ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FRENCH SOFA From ENGLAND - SEE PHOTOS
PRICE REDUCED! THIS IS A $4500.00 ANTIQUE SOFA! This LARGE Victorian sofa is ALL ORIGINAL and dates back to the late 1800's(or VERY early 1900's) It is VERY UNUSUAL and a TRUE WORK OF ART. I highly doubt you will find anything like it as our family has collected French and Victorian antiques for as long as I can remember and I haven't seen anything close to it. This very special piece originally came from a French Estate in Europe. It is NOT a reproduction- this is the REAL THING. The workmanship and attention to detail is incredible. I cannot say the sofa is in Mint condition. But it is in EXCELLENT condition considering it is over ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD. The wood is a deep walnut tone and ORNATELY carved with beautiful details on each hump and center crest. There are also carved roses in the leg portions and carving at the bottom ... moreof the seat. The legs are curved in true French Victorian style and are attached to tiny wheels. The wood is in perfect condition with no missing or repaired pieces. The upholstery is AUTHENTIC and ORIGINAL to the piece. The pattern and color is a SAGE GREEN(Celery Green) DAMASK. The back portion of the piece is PHENOMENAL- it is completely TUFTED with BUTTON CENTERS giving the piece a most ELEGANT look. The springs in the seat cushion are still tight and hold weight well. This piece was displayed in our sitting room in Florida for years and only used as an accent piece. The only flaw that stands out is some faint damage- ONLY ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE UPHOLSTERY. It appears that rust like colored stains have emerged(on the back of the left hump area toward the ground above the gimp trim) But it doesn't really show when displayed face forward. IT MAY CLEAN UP WITH UPHOLSTERY CLEANER but it probably would be best reupholstered. There is also a slight puncture in the upper portion of the back. But once again, as evidenced by my photos, you don't notice this area if placed against a wall. This is the condition in which we purchased the piece. It may come up with upholstery

Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Burgundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around ... morethe front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Here we have for offer a good Victorian mahogany Chesterfield style mahogany three seater settee dating to the second half of the 19th century. This good sized sofa has a well padded back with scrolled arms over a sprung seat being raised on mahogany turned legs with later castors. Condition wise the back and arms are fine being well stuffed and padded. The seat is comfortable but little soft in places although the springs have not gone and just need a little tightening and padding. Which is stunning, and there is a lovely patina to its dark walnut color. There are carnations with open pierce carving on each individual hand-carved crest, hand-carved knuckles, rosewood frames, carved cabriole legs with flowers adorning the elbows of the legs, and a beautiful hand-carved center crest on the serpentine skirt, with applied carving all intact. Big old brass casters finish off the cabriole legs. The fabric is crushed velour in a nice teal green, and is in great condition. This is a really gorgeous brown walnut with black inlay incise carved Victorian sofa that dates from the 1870s or'80s. It has a fantastic center crest right in the middle. Along with incise carved panels and a clamshell notch carved on top. The sofa is all solid walnut, carved throughout, including the bulbous legs, the skirts, the arms, and the back legs and side pieces. It comes beutifully covered in an equestrian style motif, which is actually in outstanding condition with only a few minor wear marks, and looks amazing against the walnut. The most important part is the frame, and that is all intact and very tight. The overall size is 67 inches on the outsides of the arms, and 59 inches on the inside. We are selling a Victorian Settee- I'm not sure how old it is exactly but I'd guess that it's from the mid to late 1800's. I purchased it from an antique store a few years ago and they didn't have any information about it. It's a pretty teal color- the back is the same as the front(the flash from the camera makes it look a little lighter but it's not) It is nicely carved and the upholstery is in very good condition- no stains or rips. I am not sure if the upholstery is original or not. The sofa measures approximately 64" long. 25" wide and the seat sits at 16. Beautiful victorian couch. I have no idea of the year it was produced? Ive tried to do some research and have found no couch like this. Burnt orange& gold in color. Some fading and a few rips on back side of couch. Nothing major considering the age of this piece. I get many" I adore this sofa" when people come to visit. However in this house I just don't have the room for it and I really need the money at the moment. This couch is three pieces as pictured. It truely is a unique treasure. I think the date on this piece is 69. When I removed the pillow there is a rip. So therefore I'm dropping the price. You can not see the rip when cushion is on. But I was disappointed when I saw it.
