The applied trim is coming loose over much of the upholstery, however, it is not torn, and could easily be refastened. The upholstery has some light stains on it, however, there are no tears or holes. It is quite worn where the trim is coming loose, however. The setee is about 34" wide across the back. It is 34.5" wide across the arms. It has an inside diameter of 32" across the arms at the front, and about 30.25" at the back. The seat is 15" high. This sweet antique settee was recently brought in to my shop in Pennsylvania. It is an eye popping double take kind of vintage furniture. Miniature settee measures only approx 27" tall and 30" long and was intended for a small child(too large for dolls I think) The wood is a chippy shelac of some sort of light wood. Antique Victorian Eastlake Rocker Loveseat Settee Great Wood Carvings Upholstery Need a couple of nice Victorian pieces for those finishing touches in a room. Do not miss these pieces. Recently picked them up at an auction. The wood on these pieces is just beautiful. Probably made in the 1880s to 1890s. I think the wood type is mahogany. But may be walnut, you be the judge. The carvings and scrollings are all still intact and were nicely done. The rocker was certainly used more than the settee and shows wear on the arms to the finish. On the left side of the settee the frame has a split in it that was corrected sometime quite a while ago. There is a bolt thru the repair that was not a part of the original piece. See the pic. I picked this piece up in the condition it is in, so cannot speak to when it was reupholstered, but it was done well ... moreand with a material that is very attractive and heavy, no flimsy stuff here. The pieces are all still tightly together at the joints. The rocker still has both its' springs. The roller wheels are both on the settee's front legs. The rocker is 39.25" tall. By 24.5" across, by 24.5" wide. The loves eat/settee is 40.25" tall. By 48" across, by 23" wide. Sorry. The other items you can see in the pics are not for sale. Attractive early period settee in solid condition. Thickly tufted back rests and nicely cushioned seat. This is really comfortable to sit in. Wood frame seems to be maple and the construction is all firm. Lots of carved floral detail in the wood and deeply etched details on the arms. The fabric on the front is a greenish pink and beige hue No major rips or tears anywhere on the fabric but the sides do show some signs of wear and right side is missing some of the trim detail to the fabric. This is a Victorian Settee 1870's Era in Fine Condition. Professionally restored. A beautiful piece of furniture made of solid walnut with original glass castors and horsehair padding. In the restoration, the wood was steamed apart and original dowels retained. The animal hide glue used then. Was replaced with modern glue. It is covered and tuffed in a lovely soft pattern of green. It measures 60 3/4" wide. The seat is 18" deep. And is 18" high from the floor. The height from the floor to the top of the carved ball is 40 1/2" It displays well. And would accent any living room or parlor. I have personally owned this piece for over 25 years.

Here we have for offer a good Victorian mahogany Chesterfield style mahogany three seater settee dating to the second half of the 19th century. This good sized sofa has a well padded back with scrolled arms over a sprung seat being raised on mahogany turned legs with later castors. Condition wise the back and arms are fine being well stuffed and padded. The seat is comfortable but little soft in places although the springs have not gone and just need a little tightening and padding. We are selling a Victorian Settee- I'm not sure how old it is exactly but I'd guess that it's from the mid to late 1800's. I purchased it from an antique store a few years ago and they didn't have any information about it. It's a pretty teal color- the back is the same as the front(the flash from the camera makes it look a little lighter but it's not) It is nicely carved and the upholstery is in very good condition- no stains or rips. I am not sure if the upholstery is original or not. The sofa measures approximately 64" long. 25" wide and the seat sits at 16. The decoration across the top wood looks like nuts or fruit and flowers of some kind that is carved. The velvet material is a very pale reddish cranberry. The pictures are very true to the color. The back is tufted. The wood frame is pretty sturdy. It measures about 59 inches long from the widest part of the wood frame on top. It stands about 34 inches tall to the top of the fruit. Hi for sale I have a freshly reupholstered antique settee. My upholster upon recovering the piece discovered that the settee is from the late Victorian era. Very rare to see a painted piece of this age. He also thought that the settee might be European. Possibly Italian or French. At one time the settee was on castors or wheels. The piece sits a little low, so if you want more height you could add some castors. There are fittings for the castors on the bottom of the legs. At this height the settee is perfect for a bedroom or master bath. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SETTEE PARLOUR SOFA ALL ORIGINAL GREAT CONDITION The following description is the best I can convey considering I am not an antiques expert. This piece was passed down to me by relatives so the historical origin is unknown. I cannot find any markings indicating maker or date but assume it is circa 1875-1895 considering comparable pieces I have found. It appears to be all original with tufted peach fabric. It is free of rips but could use a cleaning. There is a small stain on the upper right portion of the fabric from the front and on the upper left portion of fabric when viewed from the back. There is normal wear and some very faint staining to the seat and I have not tried to clean this piece. The hand carved wood is either walnut or mahogany with beautiful details of flowers and leaves and is in super condition. The original ... morebrass casters are on the front and it appears the back legs never had casters. The frame is sturdy and intact and the bottom shows original strapping. Springs and horsehair. The measurements are: 61 inches at widest point across. 38 inches high. 19 inches deepest cushion depth. The sofa is available for close inspection prior to purchase. This good sized sofa is complete with a deep buttoned upholstered and padded back with a soft sprung seat flanked by padded arm supports which can be lowered by using the hidden lever and is raised atop bun feet with castors. The sofa is in good order being solid in build and ready for use. We offer for your consideration a fantastic Victorian. Heavily carved oak settee or sofa. The carvings feature barley twist legs and supports, grape vines, and sparrows. Lush hunter green finial tassels accent the matching cushions, roped back rest cushions, and padded/upholstered foot bench. 64" long, 24" wide from back to end of dragon's head arm rests, and 52 1/2" tall at highest point of back carving. Gorgeous Cameo or Medallion back antique sofa. C. 1870. The upholstery had been redone years ago by a professional specializing in this period- there is some slight wear on the seat. The sofa has four wheels at the bottom of the legs which are original. Please let me know if you would like to see any additional photos of a specific part of the sofa. Purchased this piece at an auction where it had come out of an old mansion in Louisville KY. This piece is on wheels from the late 1800 victorian era. It has ornate wood detail. The fabric could use repair and the chair may require some retouch. I have used it to display goods from my boutique and no longer need it.
