Walnut Victorian bench chair and rocker Parlor Set circa 1880. all furniture pieces are all very sturdy. nothing cracked loose or broken. still has the original wood finish. this is a great set. the bench still has the original red velvet fabric. the chair and the rocker fabric was replaced back in the 1980s. great piece to restore. would make for a good restoration project being wood and cushions are all good. only needs cleaned up and fabric redone to your liking. wood finish could be left alone or stripped down to your liking. great project for you to restore. this is a local pick up only I will not ship this item unless you make all the arrangement's for pick up or shipping.

EASTLAKE Furniture Circa 1880 5 piece Parlor Settee Platform Rocker Corner Chair
My mother gave me these beautiful Victorian Eastlake pieces years ago and I always planned to recover and refinish. All pieces have the original green velvet. I did pull the braided trim from four of the pieces and stapled a leopard print fabric on top. It can be pulled off and the original green velvet would be exposed. I don't know where the green braid is. However. I believe all the pieces should be re-upholstered anyway. Three pieces are part of a complete set and have matching trim. All pieces have original casters and need serious cleaning or reupholstery. Major Defects are noted here: Settee has stained velvet. Armpiece is ripped, Wood has scratches especially on one side(looks like cat scratches) Lowback chair needs the pedimont re-attached. Great Restoration Project. All original. This is a high quality VictorianSofa circa 1880. It is very ornately carved and I think this was mostlikely from the Northeast as this has some Rococo and Chippendale influence, including. A Sphinx(a Lion's body with a Woman's head and wings) Wouldn't want to make her upset. In Greekmythology. The sphinx combined the head of a woman, body of a lion, and wingsof an eagle. The sphinx, as guardian of the tomb, was often featured on gravemarkers. Needs some"TLC" Two legs are off. But I have them.

This is a very nice solid mahogany Victorian double ended chaise lounge made in England circa 1880. The frame is pretty solid and the fabric is also in pretty good condition. It sits on french style cabriole legs to either side on the back there are two balloon back style back rests. This could sit in the center of a room because its finished round the back.

This is a amazing french gilt settee which has just been recovered in a high end fabric. The gilt work is all original and the frame is very solid. It just cost $1800 to have this recovered in this fabric with animals showing. To the back it has very nice carvings and sits on turned fluted legs it has open arms which is also carved. There are also two extra cushions. Measurements are 60 wide.29 deep,43 high.

Up for auction is an original Victorian couch with a magnificent flame mahogany frame. Gorgeous carved flower crest, acanthus apron and rolled out arms. The mahogany is in near perfect original condition. The couch is extremely well-made and very heavy and needs to be reupholstered. I bought it more than 40 years ago at an antique auction in Boston. This 3 pc parlor set is completely original down to the wood finish and black leather.This set includes a Setee. An Arm chair, and a Rocking armchair It features pin cushion backs, heavily carved flying griffins on each arm. This set in in impeccable condition, no split wood,etc. Appears to be no restoration, but completely original. Circa 1880-1890. Some wood shrinkage on the rocker chair arms. No damages to this set. Measurements are: Setee: 50" wide x 35" height at back x 26" deep at seat. Chairs: 27 1/2" wide x 38" height at back x 24" deep at seat. Questions call Bryon at 515-210-2502. EASTLAKE VICTORIAN WALNUT SETTEE & 2 SIDE CHAIRS CIRCA 1880's FURNITURE
This is a set of walnut Eastlake Furniture originally purchased and used in Botetourt County. Va. but an early family. It has remained in the county since purchased new. I am the third owner. I have included outside shots and indoor to show you how they would look inside. There is only one fabric flaw that is pictured and it looks repairable if you do not plan to reupholster them. There is no shipping on this, only local pickup but location is just off Interstate 81 and hwy 11 near Buchanan, Va. less than 2 miles from the exit. In the Sheraton style and made in New England, probably Boston. The framework is mahogany with birch or maple panels on the legs. It is 53" wide by 34" high at the back by 29" deep.
