Edwardian Victorian Settee Sofa Chaise Walnut
Here for sale is a lovely small Edwardian/Victorian sofa. The frame has lovely carved walnut on both the centre back panel and on the arms, the arms terminated on brass cup castors with porcelain wheels( pictured) the chaise is in good order but would need recovering if you are worried about the odd marks that come with a piece of this age. Victorian Walnut Triple Back Tufted Oval Medallion Back Settee CIRCA 1890
Up for sale is an exquisite gem from the late 1800's! This piece is absolutely stunning with its walnut wood carved detailing around the back and center oval"medallion" This settee is sure to make your home look very elegant and will add so much character and charm to any room of choice. This piece seems to have an"attitude" as it is guaranteed to stand out from anything else! The upholstery work is pure perfection! It is a somewhat"rough" silky texture. From pictures and from a distance it looks very very pale pink. But if you look closely at one of the pictures listed that had the flash on, you will notice that it is actually a sheen cream color. The upholstery is very much A+++ quality(not cheap,and hard to find) it's thick and very durable(not that you'd be rough housing with this piece) but that ... moreis something one should always look out for! As far as any defects to the wood work. There are no major ones, maybe a few light scuffs here or there but nothing major. When you sit on the settee you sort of"sink" slightly, but that is common in these older pieces. The whole piece is very sturdy. Although the back slightly moves if you physically take your hand and push it back and forth, nothing to be alarmed about though! Keep in mind that it is over 120 years old, I think anyone's back at that age will have a little wear! Haha! All four feet are on the original"wheels" All measurements are approximate(with a 1/2 inch give or take) Length: 71.5 inches Height: 46.5 inches Depth: 33.5 inches Stands 9 inches off floors Weight: approx. 70-100 lbs I'd like to not take the risk of having it shipped. The top of the frame or cr est rail f e atures a large round medallion of burl walnut. Flanked on each si de by burl panel s. Each corner has a swirled carving lea ding to open carvings separating back from the arms. The shaped hand rest offer incising and more burling. A roun ded seat rail is supported by ring turne d leg s. Being offered for sale is this Phenomenal Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut& Burl Walnut Sofa Settee circa 1870's. This 19th century sofa/ settee is just gorgeous and so uniquely crafted.definitely not your typical Victorian find! This sofa/settee features gorgeous walnut and burl walnut. Incised carvings, fancy carved crest at the center, carved draped scrolls, ring turned front legs and tapered back legs with casters intact on all four feet. This sofa/ settee measures 44 3/4 inches in height from the floor to the top of the carved crest at the back. A total length of 69 inches, seat width of 56 inches, seat depth of 20 inches and seat height of 18 inches and this settee/ sofa weighs approximately 85 lbs. The vintage black background floral fabric is in excellent vintage condition with no issues we can find and offers matching ... morecovered cord trim. This settee/ sofa is tight and sturdy and offers elegant seating. The back(sides up under the padded rests) do show some age shrinkage at the joints which which is common with pieces of this age. These joint areas have been re-glued and filled in at some point in time and appear tight and secure and not an issue. Antique Victorian Walnut Settee 1870's Era
This is a Victorian Settee 1870's Era in Fine Condition. Professionally restored. A beautiful piece of furniture made of solid walnut with original glass castors and horsehair padding. In the restoration, the wood was steamed apart and original dowels retained. The animal hide glue used then. Was replaced with modern glue. It is covered and tuffed in a lovely soft pattern of green. It measures 60 3/4" wide. The seat is 18" deep. And is 18" high from the floor. The height from the floor to the top of the carved ball is 40 1/2" It displays well. And would accent any living room or parlor. I have personally owned this piece for over 25 years.

This auction is for a really pretty antique victorian love seat/settee. I think the wood is walnut. The decoration across the top wood looks like nuts or fruit and flowers of some kind that is carved. The velvet material is a very pale reddish cranberry. The pictures are very true to the color. The back is tufted. The wood frame is pretty sturdy. It measures about 59 inches long from the widest part of the wood frame on top. It stands about 34 inches tall to the top of the fruit. Victorian Loveseat Settee Late 19th c. Carved walnut
Up for sale is a late 19th century Victorian Loveseat Settee that belonged to my wife's great-grandmother. She inherited it back in the 1980's and it proved to be impractical around our young. Energetic sons. It was put into storage and now needs to find a new home with someone who can restore her fabric and bring her back to its original condition. The carved walnut frame is in excellent shape, with casters on the feet. The fabric, alas, is faded with a split in the center of the main cushion along with some deterioration of the weave, so it will need to be reupholstered. The settee measures 68" long, 41" tall and 30" deep. There is no visible maker's mark or plate externally. Might be one inside under the cushions and upholstery but not sure. Antique Victorian Eastlake Settee with Black Walnut Frame with Provenance
This East Lake Victorian Settee with Black Walnut Frame romantically seats two comfortably on the newly upholstered rich imported Brocade. It was written up in the Pettaquamscutt Historical Society for having been found on a Schooner Maggie P. Smith from Newport News. Va bound for Portsmouth N.H. with a cargo of coal and was discovered ashore on Bass Rock, Narragansett by Walter P. Stanton Surfman. The papers with the rest of the story are with the love seat. It measures approximately 57 wide by 42 high. and is in superb condition!

WHAT YOU ARE BUYING/BIDDING ON Antique Walnut Burl Sofa#12519JS DESCRIPTION Here is a beautifully carved walnut burl-wood settee. Features a magnificent camel-back and floral accents throughout. The Upholstery is a creme color with blue red and green stripes. If you look closely you can see a white floral pattern over the color. The casters are original. An exquisite addition to any parlor or sitting area. CONDITION Age related wear. There are a few seems in the walnut that have slight separation. Very normal for a piece of this age. Also. If you look at the last picture you can see what appears to be a crack in the back leg. This is more so a settling flaw from the knot expanding over the years.
