This piece is 150+ years old, not a reproduction! I purchased this beautiful piece in 1990 when I owned an antiques and fine jewelry store. This piece was never part of my inventory. The sofa measures approximately 70" long X 30" deep. Ever since I purchased it, it has been in my personal collection. And, since I purchased it, I had it refinished and reupholstered twice. Internally, I had all the springs retied and all new inner padding replaced what was once horse hair. I keep the sofa in my office. The only reason I am selling it is because my office is packed with furniture and I need to free up some space. This is a beautiful antique sofa! It has a beige background with a green/mauve/blue print on it. It has been reupholstered and is in very good condition! There is a small place(see picture) on the right side where the material has frayed a little. Does not really show and a pillow would easily hide it. We did not even notice it when we purchased it) Includes arm covers of same material. From a smoke free home.This has absolutely no odors. We bought it for our home. THIS SOFA WILL NEED REUPHOLSTERED AND REFINISHED. IT LOOKS AS THOUGH SOMEONE MAY HAVE STARTED TO REFINISH THIS SOFA AND DECIDED NOT TO FINISH THE JOB. IT IS VERY SOUND STRUCTURALLY.
