Condition: Used Location: North Las Vegas, United States Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Bugundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Here we have for offer a good Victorian mahogany Chesterfield style mahogany three seater settee dating to the second half of the 19th century. This good sized sofa has a well padded back with scrolled arms over a sprung seat being raised on mahogany turned legs with later castors. Condition wise the back and arms are fine being well stuffed and padded. The seat is comfortable but little soft in places although the springs have not gone and just need a little tightening and padding. As you can see the castors are much later but we have included in the sale a set of two brass castors which we will put on prior to delivery(shown in the pictures) The brown velour upholstery whilst not ripped is quite dusty and if was going to be kept could do with a good brush/ wash. Welcome to my auction for our Chaise longue which we have no room for. Was re-covered approx 5 years ago and still looks very good. Length is 2000mm. Height is 810mm and width is 660mm. Comes with a rectangular cushion as well made with the same material. The wood is generally in good order but expect little nicks and cracks as it is approx 140 years old at a guess? None of the springs are broken and still has the origional stuffing. No woodworm or funny smells! I think the best one you will find at the moment on ebay. This gorgeous. Deep blue and mahogany vintage Victorian sofa is too big for our new apartment, so we're sadly parting with it. It was built in 1890 and although the wood shows its age in a few small areas(see pictures) She is in beautiful condition for being almost 125 years old. In the 1960s. The couch was re-covered and stuffed, so it doesn't have the original, matted down horsehair stuffing most sofas from these days have. Instead, it is a springy, plush cushion.
