Lovely antique walnut Rococo Revival settee in a graceful serpentine style. It has beautiful floral and leaf carvings in the center back crest. Along with finger rolls. A floral carving also appears in the center of the seat rail, finished with carvings flowing down along the rail sides of the cabriole legs, ending in claw feet. The arm rests end in a matching claw pattern. The settee is wonderfully upholstered in a cranberry colored Amboise striped velvet. Camera lighting makes the color appear somewhat pinkish; however, the fabric is a true cranberry red. Button& tufted blue velvet fabric and porcelain casters intact on all four feet. This settee measures 37 3/4 inches in height from the floor to the top of the back center. A total length of 65 1/2 inches, with a seat width of 44 inches, seat depth of 21 inches, and seat height to the floor is 16 inches and this settee weighs approximately 55 lbs. Dramatic cannonball post Empire settee. Beautiful dark finished walnut wood with newer blue upholstery. Including two cylindrical side pillows. Clean straight lines and bold forms. Ball feet rest on castors, allowing this large piece to be easily moved. Likely dates from 1800's. This piece is in very good estate condition. Some dings and wear to the wood. Mostly at corners and feet, conisitent with the age of the piece. Upholstery is newer and in generally good condition. Antique walnut Settee, Chaize Buttoned Back Made in England circa 1890.
This is a very nice walnut settee or chaise made in England circa 1890. It has very nice carvings to the back, its sits on Edwardian turned legs and has the original castors. The condition of the frame is very good the fabric is a little old but could be cleaned up. Measurements are 60 wide.24 deep,35 high.

Victorian Walnut Triple Back Tufted Oval Medallion Back Settee CIRCA 1890
Up for sale is an exquisite gem from the late 1800's! This piece is absolutely stunning with its walnut wood carved detailing around the back and center oval"medallion" This settee is sure to make your home look very elegant and will add so much character and charm to any room of choice. This piece seems to have an"attitude" as it is guaranteed to stand out from anything else! The upholstery work is pure perfection! It is a somewhat"rough" silky texture. From pictures and from a distance it looks very very pale pink. But if you look closely at one of the pictures listed that had the flash on, you will notice that it is actually a sheen cream color. The upholstery is very much A+++ quality(not cheap,and hard to find) it's thick and very durable(not that you'd be rough housing with this piece) but that ... moreis something one should always look out for! As far as any defects to the wood work. There are no major ones, maybe a few light scuffs here or there but nothing major. When you sit on the settee you sort of"sink" slightly, but that is common in these older pieces. The whole piece is very sturdy. Although the back slightly moves if you physically take your hand and push it back and forth, nothing to be alarmed about though! Keep in mind that it is over 120 years old, I think anyone's back at that age will have a little wear! Haha! The top of the frame or cr est rail f e atures a large round medallion of burl walnut. Flanked on each si de by burl panel s. Each corner has a swirled carving lea ding to open carvings separating back from the arms. The shaped hand rest offer incising and more burling. Antique Victorian Walnut Settee 1870's Era
This is a Victorian Settee 1870's Era in Fine Condition. Professionally restored. A beautiful piece of furniture made of solid walnut with original glass castors and horsehair padding. In the restoration, the wood was steamed apart and original dowels retained. The animal hide glue used then. Was replaced with modern glue. It is covered and tuffed in a lovely soft pattern of green. It measures 60 3/4" wide. The seat is 18" deep. And is 18" high from the floor. The height from the floor to the top of the carved ball is 40 1/2" It displays well. And would accent any living room or parlor. I have personally owned this piece for over 25 years.

This is a beautiful 19th century parlor set with fancy carved crests. Drop finials and burl walnut accents on all four of the pieces. This set consists of a settee, Large armchair and two ladies chairs with all the casters intact.The vintage velvet type fabric is in excellent condition with no issues noted except some light soils on the green chair. All pieces are solid and sturdy and this set has a gorgeous True Victorian presence. The front of the chaise has a serpentine shape. Likewise the end of the chaise. The chaise is deep buttoned and is upholstered in a tightly woven finely embossed cotton damask with a repeating floral pattern. The chaise features the original brass castors. Original splayed legs to the back(a sign of good quality) and original scroll end cabriole legs to the front. The frame and legs are constructed of solid walnut. The decoration across the top wood looks like nuts or fruit and flowers of some kind that is carved. The velvet material is a very pale reddish cranberry. The pictures are very true to the color. The back is tufted. The wood frame is sturdy. It measures about 59 inches long from the widest part of the wood frame on top. It stands about 34 inches tall to the top of the fruit. Antique walnut Rococo Revival settee with cranberry amboise velvet

Along with finger rolls. The top rose petal has been compromised sometime in the past but does not really detract from the overall appearance. A floral carving also appears in the center of the seat rail, finished with carvings flowing down along the rail sides of the cabriole legs, ending in claw feet. The arm rests end in a matching claw pattern. The settee is wonderfully upholstered in a cranberry-colored Amboise striped velvet. My camera lighting makes the color appear somewhat pinkish; however, the fabric is a true cranberry red. This piece is dated circa 1860 and measures 51” x 30” x 36” Pamper yourself with this treasure today.

Fine 1870s Eastlake Burled Walnut Settee/Sofa
The is an original"Eastlake" settee/sofa made of solid American Black Walnut with burl insets of the same. It is American-made. Probably around 1870 to 1880 in imitation of the designs made popular by Charles Eastlake. The entire piece has been reglued and refinished. It is very solid and sturdy. The center back stile, top rail, bottom rail, and arms are carved with graceful motifs characteristic of the"Eastlake" style and are inset with elegant burled Walnut details. It is important to note that while the piece has been restored and the wood, springs, and stuffing are in great condition, it should be reupholstered. I am providing a detail of the left arm showing a tear in the fabric. I am selling this item for local pickup in Washington, DC.
