There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Bugundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around ... morethe front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. This is a fabulous Victorian 1920's carved and burled walnut sofa. Amazing color and in fabulous shape. there is one small slit in each of the arms from where the estate had a doily pinned on each arm and it was pulled off when they were moving the sofa out cause it had darkened over the year. The men didn't realized it had a pin in it.can be easily remedied or can add another doily to each arm. I forgot to take pic of the small tufted roll pillow near each arm.they actually come out and can be used in other places on the sofa.they are so tightly in place I didn't realize that you can pull them out for another effect of the sofa. Its a beautiful teallish jadish color. Just needs to be cleaned a bit. All the tacks that are brass and antique are all tight and in place. the wood is spectacular. Antique Vintage Victorian Wood Burgundy Cushion Couch Sofa Hand Crafted 1800's This is an antique fabulous Victorian sofa. It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around ... morethe front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. We are selling a Victorian Settee- I'm not sure how old it is exactly but I'd guess that it's from the mid to late 1800's. I purchased it from an antique store a few years ago and they didn't have any information about it. It's a pretty teal color- the back is the same as the front(the flash from the camera makes it look a little lighter but it's not) It is nicely carved and the upholstery is in very good condition- no stains or rips. Some fading and a few rips on back side of couch. Nothing major considering the age of this piece. I get many" I adore this sofa" when people come to visit. However in this house I just don't have the room for it and I really need the money at the moment. This couch is three pieces as pictured. It truely is a unique treasure. This sofa/ couch was made in the Civil War era. 1820-1860) It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand carved walnut wood about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of ... morethe sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" But it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue. The chaise is deep buttoned and is button upholstered in beige draylon upholstery. The frame and legs are constructed of solid walnut. This is a very good quality chaise longue. The chaise features the original polish; therefore they boast a rich deep oak colour and patination. Momma loved her vivacious blue. Exquisitely carved rosewood Victorian sofa. She loved her antiques and she wanted her things to be lively and vibrant and memorable. The sofa sat in the"parlor" as momma was a proper southern girl with a bit of wild streak) Note the upholstery; she chose this blue-not-quite-damask like fabric and spent a small fortune on it so it would show off the gorgeous carvings of roses and be a conversation piece. Momma liked attention. She was a very young 85-year old full of whimsy, curiosity, and a lot of sass. The measurements are approximately 74 1/2" at its longest, the feet are 68 3/4" The greatest depth of the couch is 37" The height of the sofa at its tallest is 43 1/2" the sides are closer to 40 3/4" tall. Beautiful Victorian Antique Couch Sofa Claw Foot
This is a beautiful antique sofa! It has a beige background with a green/mauve/blue print on it. It has been reupholstered and is in very good condition! There is a small place(see picture) on the right side where the material has frayed a little. Does not really show and a pillow would easily hide it. We did not even notice it when we purchased it) Includes arm covers of same material. From a smoke free home.This has absolutely no odors. We bought it for our home. Antique Duncan Phyfe style Empire Victorian Sofa Couch Great Condition!
This is an antique Empire style sofa in excellent condition. It features Duncan Phyfe style legs and rolled arms. We believe the wood trim is cherry. The fabric is in excellent condition. The sofa has been reupholstered in a heavy cream colored material. But we do not know the fabric content. My mother in law purchased it from an estate in the early 80s.
