Antique Victorian Eastlake Rocker Loveseat Settee Great Wood Carvings Upholstery Need a couple of nice Victorian pieces for those finishing touches in a room. Do not miss these pieces. Recently picked them up at an auction. The wood on these pieces is just beautiful. Probably made in the 1880s to 1890s. I think the wood type is mahogany. But may be walnut, you be the judge. The carvings and scrollings are all still intact and were nicely done. The rocker was certainly used more than the settee and shows wear on the arms to the finish. On the left side of the settee the frame has a split in it that was corrected sometime quite a while ago. There is a bolt thru the repair that was not a part of the original piece. See the pic. I picked this piece up in the condition it is in, so cannot speak to when it was reupholstered, but it was done well ... moreand with a material that is very attractive and heavy, no flimsy stuff here. The pieces are all still tightly together at the joints. The rocker still has both its' springs. The roller wheels are both on the settee's front legs. The rocker is 39.25" tall. By 24.5" across, by 24.5" wide. The loves eat/settee is 40.25" tall. By 48" across, by 23" wide. Sorry. The other items you can see in the pics are not for sale. This was bought at an estate sale in Virginia. I know little about it but was told by the seller that it is from the 1800s. That's not verified. It's really lovely and with updated upholstery it would be gorgeous. The upholstery is in good shape except for the arm where the binding is loose. There are 2 spots where the wood is marred but otherwise looks good to me.very ornate. Casters on front legs. The bottom lining is a bit loose and burlap is visible under the lining. Here is a very pretty antique Loveseat for sale. This is a perfect entryway piece at 36" tall to top of back. 19" tall to top of seat, 38" wide, and 24" deep. Lovely condition with one minor crack on top left as pictured, well below average surface wear, and material is excellent. I can not say if this is the original upholstery, but its mint condition and if it has been redone it was professionally done. I believe it is cherry wood as it has a red tint, or its a cherry wood finish, just lovely. Still has the original casters on the legs as well, lovely antique piece of furniture. We are pleased to be offering today a very nice five piece Victorian parlor set. If needed. We could assist with shipping or delivery, ask about this first. 5 piece set- Antique Victorian Settee and Parlor Chairs with Carved Wood Trim. Each has the detailed wood carving of the Jenny Lind style face and head. Very interesting characteristic. Tribute after the Civil War period. Very nice parlor set with a loveseat sofa or settee. With carved wood frame and a floral upholstery. Including an arm chair, 2 Balloon Back side chairs. AND, another side parlor chair that has burl wood, and is more ornate than the others. The set has been recovered and is in pretty nice condition. All the woodwork is in overall good condition.no apparent rips or tears in upholstery. The fabric on the rear of the pieces seems in fine condition to have visible/open to ... moreview. Please note on settee and side chairs. The upholstery is not identical. They chairs were recently re-upholstered in a yellow/gold velvet, but the settee has not yet been covered. All recovered at same time by same person who invested a good bit to have the chairs reupholstered. The fabric on the settee is in fine, useable condition. Except that on the left inside arm of the settee, there is a short spot where the upholstery would need refastening to the frame. The sofa and the matching chairs are in almost perfect condition for their age. And are nice and tight for the most part. The loveseat does show a slight loosening of the joint on the upper side wood arm, near curve. Still seems well intact. The only other caveat to mention is that one of the balloon-back side chairs does have a loose joint on the upper right side. The two sections of wood have separated there. A temporary repair was made with a wood-adhesive but might need more attention before the chair is used for sitting. Wood trim does have some knicks or light scratches. Not noticeable, as you can see from the photos. They really do make a nice seating group of the Victorian era. Please note that antiques

Antique Carved Wood Settee Upholstered Pink Rose Good Condition pre 1900 ?
This is an antique settee with wood carving and clean patterned upholstered fabric in a rose or reddish pink color. The exact age and origin is unknown but it has been in my house for over 30 years after being purchased from a friend(retired doctor who had it in his office) It is is in clean good condition with no stains or smells(always in a non-smoking environment) No major defects. Scratches or chips but there is minor wear/fading on wood to be seen on the finish on some of the edges/feet/etc. Where the arms meet the back is also a bit wiggly, an easy fix.
