The fabric has been replaced along the way with an antique beige that is all buttoned and pleated. It must have been done in the last 10 years or so as it is in lovely condition. The sofa is all tight and sturdy. The overall size is 68 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 48 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 28 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest, 23 inches high to the arms and 16 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking sofa with a great patina on the wood frame.

This gorgeous set ... morefeatures a triple back sofa with framed center section. The curved crest rail offers a beautiful reticulated leaf carved crest with an inlaid center rosette. Each end also offers curved crest rails. All three sections have beautifully tufted backs. Open padded arms lead to wonderfully carved hand rest with with incised carving and large drop finials. A shaped seat rail is supported by four turned legs and original brass capped casters. This fantastic sofa does have an old repair to one end which appears to be very sturdy and secure and one rosette at the left end of the sofa has some inlay loss. Thank goodness the repair is there or by today's standards it would have been in the dump and we would have lost this wonderful piece of art~just my opinion. The vintage cream colored fabric does show some ware on one corner and arm and needs a gentle cleaning. Please look closely and enlarge the pictures as all the detail cannot be shown in 12. Measurements: 45 inches high 68 inches long 33 inches deep 18 floor to seat weight 35 lbs. The matching chair features the same beautifully carved crest drop finials and turned legs. 1890'S WALNUT VICTORIAN EASTLAKE SETTEE CHAIR ORNATE CARVING
Victorian Walnut Eastlake Settee in original condition with ornate carving. It is covered in original light green tufted velvet and includes a square pillow. This piece is probably from the late 1800's. It is a very sturdy bench style seat which is approximately 33" long. 20" deep and 36" high. It has original wood caster wheels. I see no broken parts or anything that has been glued together. Piece is in good condition for its age. Buyer will be responsible for pickup or shipping.

1890'S WALNUT VICTORIAN EASTLAKE BALL & STICK SETTEE CHAIR ORNATE CARVING
Up for auction is a gorgeous example of turn of the century Ball& Stick Eastlake furniture. Here is a beautiful parlor settee re upholstered in deep red fabric. IMPORTANT! My flash is making the fabric appear hot pink. The fabric is reacting to my flash. It is a deep red not pink. It is a nice Victorian color. Not garish at all. You have to see it in person. The woodwork is just wonderful with hand carved details all over this piece. The gallery of wood surrounds you. This would be a showpiece in any parlor or bedroom. Measures 50" wide x 31" tall x 22" deep. It is small enough to be a sitting chair in a bedroom. Take a close look at the photos. It is not all fabric like a lot of heavy Eastlake can be. The ball and stick visually lightens it up but it is still a good sized settee. Here is a wonderful ornately carved piece ... morethat would add an incredible Victorian detail to any home.
