It is in good condition, with no holes or tears, but the knap of the velvet is worn almost ... moreoff in some areas. I am unsure of the exact age or origins of the sofa, but I do know that it dates to the late 1960s. It is finished in a pale golden yellow velvet that is almost a shimmery beige and has a classic tufted design that is coming back into style. The sofa does have a few small stains on it, as well as some staining from general use over the years. It has obviously been very well cared for. It does not include the throw pillows shown in the photo. It is an extra-long sofa, and measures 26” tall at the armrest, 32” tall, 22” deep at the seat, 14” high at the seat, 35” deep total, and is 116” long.

The fabric is in great condition with no holes or tears. The only real wear is on the front of the arms. Otherwise there's only minimal wear. There are no tags on it but we've sold other Thayer Coggin sofas and this one definitely has the look of one. It has very cool psychedelic fabric that I think actually looks better in person than in the photos we have posted. The colors really pop. Each of the arms is raised up on(5) square chrome cubes that still have a lot of shine to them. The(4) legs are wood wrapped with chrome. It's an amazing piece and a very rare find especially in this condition. It measures 63" long x 26" tall at the top of the backrest and 16" tall at the seat level. Attributed to Meeks circa 1855-1865. A very nice and delicate pattern of grapes and leaves on the vine pattern. This set has a later, but pleasing fabric in good shape. This is a rare set of 2 full size settees and 2 chairs. All in red velvet upholstery and beautifully carved solid wood frame. Each piece is in great condition and very sturdy and comfortable. They are regular height off the ground(many Victorian pieces are lower to the ground, these are standard heights) I am selling my 1871 Victorian home and will no longer have room for these.
