Bavarian Post 1871 Beautiful Hand Paint Decor Tray w/Complex Crown Mark#109613
This is a gorgeous older Bavarian Germany decorative petal shaped. Medium sized, tray. It is beautifully hand painted with a lovely light creamy green background; featuring a yellow and white floral design. The tray bears the German Complex Crown Design Mark numbered 109613, which dates back as far as 1871. It presents in very good to excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches. It has a thin gold trimmed edge which has a few spots where there is some very minor gold loss. This is not at all serious, and does not detract from the beauty or design of the tray; as it truly looks great. The size is quite nice, as it is not to big, nor to small. It measures 10 and a 1/2 in by 10 and a 1/2 in, and weighs just over a pound. This is wonderful piece which will display beautifully wherever it is placed. The tray will look great on a dresser ... moreor a coffee table, where it will, without a doubt, be admired endlessly. Collectors and enthusiasts of antique European trays will not want to miss out on this truly perfect piece, which will not disappoint. ml15)
