Decoration includes Ladies Man and two dogs beside a canal with buildings and a sailboat in the background. There is a band of oakleaves and acorns around the perimiter. No chips or cracks. There is a rub in the glaze on the top edge. It is about 1" long. There is staining on the platter. It shows more in the photo than when you are looking at it. A couple of quail( and a rabbit peaking out of their cover. With a few butterflies flitting about, this old"The Chase" ceramic relish dish is in very nice condition. Made by W. Brownfield& Sons(England) this dish does have some light crazing in a couple of areas(hard to see) and there is a small area on the back side that is lightly stained, but really a very nice piece. The impressed marks on the bottom read"ivory"W Browfield"and.4/83" and the glaze'dating' stamp is very sharp. It measures 9 1/2"L x 6 1/4"W x 1 1/8"T. Shipping includes tracking.

Along with two hard-to-read impressed marks in the pottery. The platter is about 14-5/8“ at the longest and 10-¼“ across. The platter has light general glaze crazing. It has some light yellow/brown specks/spots on a section of the rim and two very small yellow spots on the surface. The plattery is sturdy- no chips. Cracks or flakes. Large ANTIQUE Brownfield& Sons Brown Woodsman Platter 19” + Bowel& Plate 19” A very old earthy looking Brownfield& Sons Platter. Says Woodsman and is numbered. Has other marks on back but they are hard for my old eyes to see. Probably from around the 1870s-80s Plus a larger shallow bowl and a Plate. The Bowl measures about 9& 1/2” across, Plate 9& 1/2” also. Numbered on bottom 14058 Would be great for the upcoming holidays. Thanksgiving! Though I am sure many would only use these for display because of their age. Condition: 12 photos total. No chips or cracks but plenty of crazing. Also some darker spots mostly on back. I point at the larger spots in a few photos. On one spot where I point on the back of the plate there is a tiny rough spot. I think maybe there was a small bubble in the glaze. Or maybe it is just a pucker ... morein the crazing that feels rough.
